A major aspect of the heavenly realms are the positions of government.
There are different levels of governmental authority relating to the different heavenly realms.
Our mountains and our thrones are positions of governmental authority that function in different realms.
Zech 3:7 “Thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘If you will walk in My ways and if you will perform My service, then you will also govern My house and also have charge of My courts, and I will grant you free access among these who are standing here.’”
The realms of heaven are arranged in increasing levels of governmental authority relating to our maturity and position Kingdom of God – Lordship Kingdom of heaven – Kingship Heaven – Kingship and sonship Heaven of heavens – Mature sonship .
All of the heavenly realms can be accessed by invitation to observe and then to participate as we mature in different levels of authority .
We are all part of God’s family, therefore all sons of God, but as in a natural family there are babies, infants, toddlers, children, teenagers and adults .
Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ .
Eph 2:6 and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus, The positions of authority within God’s kingdom family are dependent on spiritual maturity not natural age.
Lordship is the first heavenly position where we begin to mature as sons.
If we are faithful in lordship and grow in maturity a position of kingship with greater a level of responsibility is given.
Wisdom helps tutor us in sonship .
Prov 8:15 I empower kings to reign and rulers to make laws that are just. 16 I empower princes to rise and take dominion, and nobles to govern the earth.
4 different positions of authority and 4 different functions of authority.
In our seated position we will be at rest, operating in peace and love.
To be seated governmentally is to be enthroned in that position.
Investiture, Succession, Enthronement, Coronation is the process of our enthronement.
Definition of a throne is a chair occupied, as by a monarch, as in a position of authority.
Seat or throne comes from the Greek root word for a bench which is a judicial seat.
Bench of 3 is a place of both government and judgement.
Hebrew Kisse and Korse seat of honor, throne Greek thronos probably from the root thranos (bench) a (king’s) throne, seat, power, dominion, a potentate.
The Greek mind-set is to think about the form; the Hebrew is to think about the function or purpose.
It is not so important what the throne looks like but what its function is.
Function of a throne is a place of royalty and its rulership or government; therefore the dominion of kingly power.
There are many thrones mentioned in the Bible and there are many heavenly thrones that are not mentioned in the Bible.
Thrones in the different heavenly realms have different functions.
Our thrones have different levels of authority.
Some thrones are for kingly governmental ruling and legislating.
Some thrones are more like benches which are more judicial and administrative.
If we know our identity our thrones will be seats of rest and our position will carry authority.
OT thrones – Gen 41:40 “You shall be over my house, and according to your command all my people shall do homage; only in the throne I will be greater than you.”
First mention with Joseph is symbolic of our sonship in relation to creation and the throne of God.

The stone is Jesus; being cut without hands means not by mankind’s DIY methods .
The stone, Jesus, became the foundation of the mountain of the house of the Lord, the kingdom that will fill the earth.
Wise man builds on the rock or the stone foundation of Jesus
Matt 16:18 …and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; Jesus is the stone, the rock on which the Ekklesia which has the keys of the kingdom is built.

Josephus (A.D. 75) – Jewish historian: “Before sun-setting, chariots and troops of soldiers in their armor were seen running about among the clouds and surrounding of cities.
A supernatural apparition was seen, too amazing to be believed.
What I am now to relate would, I imagine, be dismissed as imaginary, had this not been vouched for by eyewitnesses, then followed by subsequent disasters that deserved to be thus signalized.” (Jewish Wars, VI-V-3).
Heb 8:13 When He said, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. But whatever is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to disappear.
Old age finally ended at AD70 with the destruction of the temple the heavens and the earth passed away.
We are now all live as living temples the new wineskin and are the New Jerusalem in the new heavens and new earth.
This is present not future, as Jesus has sat down and we are seated with Him in heavenly places.
Heb 10:12 but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God, 13 waiting from that time onward until His enemies be made a footstool for His feet.. 15 And the Holy Spirit also testifies to us; for after saying… Heb 10:16 “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws upon their heart, and on their mind I will write them”… 19 Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus… Heb 10:20 by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God. We can take our positions alongside Jesus enthroned.
Dan 7:13 “I kept looking in the night visions, And behold, with the clouds of heaven one like a Son of Man was coming, and He came up to the Ancient of Days and was presented before Him.”
On resurrection day Jesus came to the Ancient of Days to receive the kingdom and give the keys to the kingdom to us.

Ezek 10:1 Then I looked, and behold, in the expanse that was over the heads of the cherubim something like a sapphire stone, in appearance resembling a throne, appeared above them.
The sapphire stone, the cube of Metatron, contains our governmental positions and thrones. There are thrones where God sits: Ancient of days throne.
Dan 7 Lord’s throne of Isa 6 Jesus’ throne of Heb 8:1 24 thrones for elders Rev 4:4 Our thrones Eph 2:6.
Also benches of judicial authority There are many thrones in the NT.

Col 1:16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities – all things have been created through Him and for Him. Who or what is on the throne is the key to what type of government.
Heb 4:16 Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Rest and relationship from the confidence of knowing the Father intimately.

Rev 4:2 Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne was standing in heaven, and One sitting on the throne. Rev 4:4 Around the throne were twenty-four thrones; and upon the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white garments, and golden crowns on their heads. Rev 4:5 Out from the throne come flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder. And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
The 7 spirits are tutors for our sonship and governmental positions of authority. We are each a mountain, a position of authority; we have mountains or governmental spheres under them The throne is our position or seat of government in the heavenly realms where we administrate the kingdom of God.
Mountain thrones represent the redemptive governmental aspects of our destiny.
Our mountain spheres of authority are our specific areas of sonship that will bring about creation’s restoration.
The kingdom is to advance with ever-increasing and expanding government through us.
Dragons and giants are the symbolic representation of those spiritual forces that seek to usurp our authority.
We give them legal rights through our words and actions.
We worship them as idols that we set up in place of God Fear, insecurity, rejection are the idols that usurp our authority.
Zech 3:7 “Thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘If you will walk in My ways and if you will perform My service, then you will also govern My house and also have charge of My courts, and I will grant you free access among these who are standing here.’”
There are thrones or benches in the courts Court of Councils of the Fathers – God’s throne, and has 24 thrones for the elders Court of Kings has thrones like benches that we sit at to produce legislation Court of Chancellors – Bench to present scrolls for authorisation Court of Judges – Bench of judges Court of 70 – God’s throne and 70 seats God’s mobile throne sometimes appears in many places.
There are thrones, benches of authority, within the angelic realm There are thrones, 3 positions of authority, within the atmosphere .
Col 1:16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities – all things have been created through Him and for Him.
There are angelic beings assigned to 3 levels of thrones in the atmosphere Royal priesthood are 2 offices that have thrones in the heavens where priests as well as kings have thrones .
Heb 8:1 Now the main point in what has been said is this: we have such a high priest, who has taken His seat at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens,
Rev 22:1 Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, Life flows from God’s government and we are responsible as sons to bring His government and release His life from heaven into the earth
Rev 5:11 Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands, 12 saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honour and glory and blessing.”
Engage the thrones of heaven in the courts etc. Engage our mountains and be enthroned with a crown, new mantle, sceptre, orb; take our mountain position of heavenly authority.
Steps like Jacob’s ladder leading up to heaven. Hear the invitation to come up here. Shift focus of our mind. Walk up those steps to the door. Now step through the veil into the kingdom realm. Jesus is standing in the doorway. Present yourself to Jesus your High Priest as a living sacrifice. Let Him take you by the hand. Jesus, please take each person and show them the thrones of heaven. Go wherever He takes you. If you have never been seated on the throne of your mountain position ask Jesus to take you there. Let Jesus take you by the hand to your mountain, your position of government as a Lord or King. Take your place on the throne. Jesus invests you with authority. He gives you a crown and a mantle and a scepter or an orb. He may give you weapons. You look down around you from that perspective. Rest has dominion over chaos. Begin to decree and declare the rule of God. Call forth transformation. Call forth favor, blessing and provision. Frame your life by decreeing your destiny. Still the storms, decree peace. Use the keys of the kingdom to lock and unlock situations. We need to take authority to change situations around us. Call things that be not as if they are. Assign angels etc.
