Restoration 3

As sons of God we have relationship with God that leads to responsibility. We need to retake our heavenly positions, seated and enthroned to legislate the kingdom in heaven to manifest heaven on earth. Therefore, the context of legislation should be the restoration of all things back to God’s original intent.

We have embarked on a journey to discover the full meaning of the restoration of all things. We are going to discover the scope of restoration and the part we all have to play in that restoration as heirs and sons of God.

Acts 3:19 Therefore repent and return, so that the sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; 20 and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you, 21 whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time.

Rom 8:14 For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ.

If we are not restored as sons and heirs then creation will not be restored. The restoration of all things begins with Jesus working in us and then through us now not in an event when He comes someday in the future.

Restoration is firstly personal restoring our relationship. Restoring our spirit, soul and body to God’s original intention, condition and functionality. Restoring our spirit’s eternal identity. Everything within the soul – mind, emotions, will, conscience, imagination, reason, choice restored to innocence.

All brokenness, fragmentation, separation, isolation, rejection etc. restored. Body restored to health and wholeness; all our DNA restored. All supernatural abilities restored. Restored destiny with its identity, purpose, position and authority.

Rom 8:21 that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.  Glory is the essence or full weight of the nature of something – sonship. Adam was clothed with glory, and we will be transfigured to that state again.

Rom 8:30 Jesus reveals that we preexisted in God; he defines us. He justified us and also glorified us. He redeemed our innocence and restored the glory we lost in Adam. 31 All these things point to one conclusion; God is for us! Who can prevail against us?

Rom 8: 28And we know (occurring now, perceive) that all things (the totality or the whole) work together (occurring now, to work together to contribute to an end or a goal) for good (in respect to operation or influence) to them that love (continuous action, to value-indicating a direction of the will, and finding one’s joy in developing a relationship with, desiring to please Him) God, to them who are the called (appointed, invited) according (the object toward which something aims) to his purpose (determined plan). 29For whom he did foreknow (to know beforehand, to understand completely, (1-pro- before, in front of, prior 2-ginōskō-To know, in a beginning or completed sense), he also did predestinate (to predetermine, decide beforehand, in the NT of God decreeing from eternity, to foreordain, appoint beforehand, 1-pro-before 2-horizō-To mark out definitely, determine, appoint, constitute, to mark out or bound (“horizon”), (figurative) to appoint, decree, specify :- declare, determine, limit, ordain-root-horion- a boundary line.) to be conformed (together with-to form, to bring into harmony or agreement having the same identity) to the image (more than a likeness-the essential  and substantial form, the perfect expression and representation) of his Son (full grown), that he might be the firstborn (preeminent prototype) among (of those with whom someone is in near connection, intimate union, oneness of heart mind and purpose)many brethren (a fellowship of life based on identity of origin). 30Moreover (furthermore, likewise) whom he did predestinate (to predetermine, decide beforehand), them he also called (specific point in the past, “to call,” often means “to bid,” in the sense of “invite): and whom he called, them he also justified (specific point in the past, to declare, pronounce, one to be just, righteous, or such as he ought to be): and whom he justified, them he also glorified (specific point in the past, to impart glory to something, The spirit of God dwelling intimately in our spirit, soul and body-every part of us alive with His eternal life).

Rom 8:29 For whom he did foreknow (1-pro- before, in front of, prior 2-ginōskō-To know, in a beginning or completed sense), he also did predestinate(1-pro-before 2-horizō-To mark out definitely, determine, appoint, constitute, to mark out or bound “horizon” “figurative” to appoint, decree, specify :- declare, determine, limit, ordain-root-horion- a boundary line )to be conformed (together with to form) to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Psa 8:5 “You made him (man) a little lower than God and crowned him (or clothed him) with glory and honor.”  The original Hebrew word for “crowned” means “to encircle”, “to surround’. In other words, Adam and Eve were surrounded by glory and honor.

They had been clothed with glory and didn’t need natural clothing and they were living in an atmosphere of perfect relationship and did not need natural knowledge.  God gave man a wonderful environment to rule, where God would truly be their provision and protection within an intimate relationship.

The gospel is the good news of the Father sending Jesus to restore our glory and begin creations restoration. God proved His love for all things by Jesus choosing to die for us, as us and in our place to reconcile our relationship and restored it to what it was like in the Garden of Eden and beyond.

2 Cor 5: 18 Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world (cosmos) to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

2 Cor 3:16 but whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

2 Cor 4:6 For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. When anyone turns to God, a veil is lifted from their hearts, and they are enabled to behold the Glory of God in the very face of Jesus Christ.

As believers who continue to look into that Glory a transformation takes place, whereby we are being changed into the same image (God’s original intent) from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord. The process of transformation, transfiguration or metamorphosis.

Luke 24:49 “And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city (Jerusalem) until you are clothed with power from on high.” This was just the beginning of our transfiguration, but it is not the end.

Haggai 2:6 For thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘Once more in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea also and the dry land. 7 I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the wealth of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts. 9 ‘The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘and in this place I will give peace,’ declares the Lord of hosts.”

Heb 12:26 And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven.” 27 This expression, “Yet once more,” denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain

Heb 12:28 Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; 29 for our God is a consuming fire. Our bodies are a house of God and we are part of the mountain of the house of the Lord being restored by fire.

Isa 2:2 Now it will come about that in the last days the mountain of the house of the Lord will be established as the chief of the mountains and will be raised above the hills; and all the nations will stream to it.  Our restoration to positions of sonship raised up seated in heavenly places.

Hebrew tradition and rabbinical writings talk about the loss of innocence and glory as light being removed. Other writings like the Book of Moses. Mystical Encounters – Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich, Luisa Piccarreta, Ian Clayton and others. My own encounters with light and talking to Adam revealed this truth also.

Anne Catherine Emmerich in 1820 had an extensive and very vivid personal revelation in which she described Adam and Eve as clothed in light. “They were like two unspeakably noble and beautiful children, perfectly luminous and clothed with beams of light as with a veil.

From Adam’s mouth I saw issuing a broad stream of glittering light, and upon his forehead was an expression of great majesty.  Around his mouth played a sunbeam, but there was none around Eve’s.

I saw Adam’s heart very much the same as in men of the present day, but his breast was surrounded by rays of light. In the middle of his heart, I saw a sparkling halo of glory”.

Luisa Piccarreta in 1882 encountered Jesus who explained that in creating man, He placed him in the sun of the Divine Will.   This was a garment of shining light, whose rays covered his body in a way that honored him and rendered him beautiful.

Jesus explained that in Eden, Adam divided and gambled away his garments of innocence, the clothing of the Divine Will.   Withdrew from the Divine Will, the light from his body and soul withdrew, and he lost his vesture of divine radiance.

Realizing he was no longer surrounded by light, he felt nude and ashamed, and made use of material things to cover himself. Jesus seeing from the Cross His own garment divided and lots being cast for His tunic, that which Adam did at Eden was repeated before His eyes.

His pain, upon seeing this, brought forth a lament. How many creatures, doing their own will, make a game of the Divine Will, and how many times do they divide the garment of innocence with their passions?

Subsequent to His immense sorrow at seeing His own garments divided and cast for lots, He did not take on other garments upon His Resurrection.  Instead, His Humanity was dressed with the shining garment of the sun of the Supreme Will.

Then, clothed in these regal garments, He presented Himself to His Celestial Father, and opened heaven to all the redeemed. The Divine Will, while it is life, is also man’s true garment of Creation.

Upon hearing this, Luisa asked Jesus why He, who also possessed the Divine Will, did not appear clothed in its light while on earth? The Lord explained that His Humanity was to represent fallen Adam, and not innocent Adam. Besides, if He was dressed in the light of the Divine who would have dared to even go near Him?

Moses 3:25 Though figuratively “naked,” because their knowledge of their premortal state had been taken away by a “veil of forgetfulness,” Adam and Eve had come to Eden nonetheless “trailing clouds of glory.”

While the couple, as yet, were free from transgression, they could stand “naked” in God’s presence without shame, being “clothed with purity” in what early commentators called “garments of light” or “garments of contentment.”

In one source, Eve describes her appearance by saying: “I was decked out like a bride, and I reclined in a wedding-chamber of light.” God has revealed mystic glimpses to people of what it was like before the original state was lost.

These glimpses and testimonies are designed motivate us to pursue our restoration in light. To motivate us not to settle for normalcy and a fallen state. To reconnect with the eternity that has been placed in our hearts.

Matt 17:2 And He was transfigured before them; and His face shone like the sun, and His garments became as white as light. 3 And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.

Matt 17:5 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and behold, a voice out of the cloud said, “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased; listen to Him!”. This is still the Father’s desire for His sons today to restore our identity and glory.

Restoration is of all physical and spiritual things that have been lost distorted, damaged, destroyed, broken or disconnected. Creation and everything in it. Everyone, everything everywhere for all time and all history. All relative dimensions of time and space.

Restoration of our eternal memory, wisdom, knowledge, understanding and position as light beings. Restoration of all our abilities and powers. Restoration of God’s intention and desire for everyone and all things.

Restoration of all dark and light matter and dark and light energy including the restoration of the speed of light. Restoration of access to all places and all realms everywhere at any time inside and outside of time and space and history.

Restoration of original condition and functionality for all things that were lost when the light of glory was removed. Restoration of All Things – Restoring our inheritance, identity position and authority as sons.

All things is used many times in the bible and obviously refers to many different concepts depending on the context. Some uses of all things are important to review as they relate directly to our relationship with God and our sonship.

The all things revealed in the bible need to be engaged with and meditated upon and entered into. We are heirs and coheirs therefore what is revealed about all things in context of Father and Son Jesus directly relates to our sonship.

1 Cor 15:27 For He has put all things in subjection under His feet. But when He says, “All things are put in subjection,” What is it to be in subjection?  Who and what is going to be brought into subjection?

Engage God who is Father, Son and Spirit to ask the questions:  What is missing from your life?  What is broken in your life?  What has been lost in your life?  What has been robbed from your life?

Engage God who is Father, Son and Spirit to ask Him to restore. Your relationship. Your glory and light. Your identity. Your position. Your authority. Your access.

Look into the eyes of the Prince of Peace into those the deep pools that reveal the way, truth and life.

Close your eyes and begin to think of Jesus and let that form in your imagination. Look into the eyes of the Prince of Peace .Ask Jesus to restore all things to you. Ask Jesus to restore your sonship.

Ask Jesus to restore your glory and light. As a bright cloud overshadows you hear, a voice out of the cloud say “You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased; in whom My soul delights.

 Ask Jesus to restore.
