Restoration 7

Acts 3:19 Therefore repent and return, so that the sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; 20 and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you, 21 whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time.

We have embarked on a journey to discover the full meaning of the restoration of all things and the part we all have to play in that restoration as sons of God. It involves personal restoration of spirit, soul, body and also of all creation itself.

What part did the resurrection have in restoration. Biblical evidence. Legal evidence in history. Personal evidence of meeting Jesus ourselves. Testimony of lives transformed.

‘It is finished.’ What did Jesus mean?  All sin was forgiven and all debts were cancelled by this amazing act of mercy and grace then and for all time. All separation had ended and the veil between heaven and earth was torn.

Rom 8:14 For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God.17 and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ.

Rom 8:19 For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. 21 that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.

If we are not restored as sons and heirs then all creation cannot be restored. The restoration of all things begins with Jesus working in us and then through us now not in an event when He comes someday in the future.

Rom 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

Rom 5: 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.9 Much more then, being now justified (definite action, point in time) by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath (the wrath-root-desire-to desire eagerly or earnestly- as a reaching forth-compare <G3735> (oros)]; to stretch oneself, reach out after (long for) :- covet after, desire-anger as a state of mind-originally any “natural impulse, or desire, or disposition,” came to signify “anger,” as the strongest of all passions. a more settled or abiding condition of mind, frequently with a view to taking revenge) through (by means of) him.10 For if, when we were enemies (in opposition), we were reconciled(specific point past-passive, God taking upon himself our sin becoming an atonement establishing a relationship of peace, to impart his Spirit) to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled( definiteness of action-passive, the change God makes in man by giving us his Spirit), we shall be saved(action in the future-passive) by(intimate union with) his life.(to be completely enveloped in the life of God. God reaching down deep into our very nature, our tendencies, propensities, into our appetites, the power of heredity over us from Adam, the power and influence of our environment over us- until there is nothing in us responding or belonging to this world)

John 3:35  The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. 36  He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath (the wrath-root-desire-to desire eagerly or earnestly- reach out after -originally any “natural impulse, or desire, or disposition,” came to signify “anger,” as the strongest of all passions. a more settled or abiding condition of mind)of God abideth on him.

Rom 1:16 for I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.17 for therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith.
18 for the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.

Rom2:1  Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. 2  But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. 3  And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? 4  Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? 5  But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; 6  Who will render to every man according to his deeds: 7  To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life: 8  But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, 9  Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10  But glory, honor, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 11  For there is no respect of persons with God. 12  For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; 13  (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. 14  For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 15  Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) 16  In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

Eph 5:5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.7 be not ye therefore partakers with them.

Col3:5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: 6 For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: 7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.

The wrath the god to come on the mature-huios the willful unbelief

1 thes 1:8  For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing. 9  For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; 10  And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

Heb 3:7  Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, 8  Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: 9  When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. 10  Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. 11  So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)

Heb 4:1  Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. 2  For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. 3  For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

Rev 6:14  And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15  And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16  And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17  For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Rev 11:17  Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. 18  And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. 19  And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thundering’s, and an earthquake, and great hail.

Rev 19:11  And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13  And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14  And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15  And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16  And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

John 10:10 The thief “shepherd” has no other agenda but to steal, kill and he couldn’t care less if he lost some sheep. I have come with the sole purpose for you to have life in its most complete form. Wrath is not from a loving God but is the consequence of following the enemies DIY path to be robbed.

Rom 5:8 herein is the extremity of God’s love gift: mankind was rotten to the core when Christ died their death. 9 If God could love us that much when we were ungodly and guilty, how much more are we free to realize his love now that we are declared innocent by his blood?

Rom 5:8 (God does not love us more now that we are reconciled to him; we are now free to realize how much he loved us all along!). So, we did nothing to contribute to what God did to save us. He chose freely and willingly to die our death which He did even when we were doing our own DIY life thing.

Rom 5:10 Our hostility and indifference towards God did not reduce his love for us; he saw equal value in us when he exchanged the life of his son for ours. Now that the act of reconciliation is complete, his life in us saves us from the gutter-most to the uttermost.

Something happened to mankind in Christ which is by far superior to what happened to mankind in Adam!  It happened without our permission because of the power of God’s love for us.

While we were still dead in our sins and trespasses, God made us alive together with Christ and raised us up together with Christ and seated us (fallen humanity) again together with Christ! Nothing could elevate us more than that!

The reality is that God has already done everything necessary through the cross to save everyone and restore all things. We cannot do anything or contribute to making that happen it is all by His grace so we can all believe through His faith.

Truth is already true long before anyone but God believes it!  We wouldn’t have anything worthwhile believing if it wasn’t true to begin with!  Belief doesn’t make a mathematical equation true! Discovering the truth certainly makes it true for you!

This is why we urgently and passionately need to proclaim the gospel – good news of a loving God. Many are living in blindfold mode and suffering the judgment of the DIY tree even while Jesus already brought that judgment to an end!

Jesus revealed “When I am lifted up on the cross, I will draw all judgment unto me! Behold the Lamb of God who took away the sin of the world!  This is an already finished work and we just have to realize it to live in this amazing truth.

Is reconciliation and salvation universal does it apply to all?  Is the power of the cross universal does it apply to all?  Did the resurrection make all alive?  Is salvation universal does it apply to all? Is restoration for all things?

If Jesus is savior did, He come to save everyone or just some?  Is salvation just for a few lucky chosen ones?  Is the restoration of ALL THINGS possible, probable, hopeful or inevitable?

Is there any evidence that God desires everyone and everything restored? Biblical written evidence. Rhema word spoken evidence. Personal experiential evidence. Testimonial evidence.

Rom 5:18 So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men. 19 For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous.

Rom 5:18 The conclusion is clear: it took just one offense to condemn mankind; one act of righteousness declares the same mankind innocent. We see then that as one act of sin exposed the whole race of men to condemnation, so one act of perfect righteousness presents all men freely acquitted in the sight of God!

Rom 5:19 The disobedience of the one exhibits humanity as sinners; the obedience of another exhibits humanity as righteous. 21 so that, as sin reigned in death, even so grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Rom 5:19 The disobedience of the one exhibits humanity as sinners; the obedience of another exhibits humanity as righteous. 21 (Spiritual) Death provided sin its platform and power to reign from; now grace has taken over sovereignty through righteousness to introduce unthreatened life under the Lordship of Jesus Christ over us.

James 2:13 Judgment showed no mercy to those who do not walk in mercy, but mercy triumphs over judgment. (Those who walk in mercy walk in the law of liberty. [Gal 5:22, 23] There is no law against love. While judgment threatens condemnation, mercy interposes and prevails

James 2:13… Mercy triumphs over judgement. Luke 23:34 But Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.  We are beneficiaries of forgiveness even though we did not ask for it. It is a tragedy that the world has had this truth veiled through religious deception.

1 Cor 13:5 love – it keeps no record of wrongs.  1 Cor 13:5 love – does not take into account a wrong suffered. 2 Cor 5:19 namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

1 Peter 4:6 For the gospel has for this purpose been preached even to those who are dead, that though they are judged in the flesh as men, they may live in the spirit according to the will of God.  We need to know the true God the loving, merciful gracious Father.

Luke 3:6: “All flesh shall see the salvation of God.“  Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. Luke 9:56 The Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.

John 1:29: “The next day he [John] saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, `Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”  The sin of the whole world, not just a part of it. The Cosmos in all its universal meanings.

Jn 6:33 For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world. The Cosmos in all its universal meanings. John 1:7 This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that through him all might believe.

John 1:7 Jesus) mission was to draw attention to the light of their lives so that what they witnessed in him would cause them to believe (in their original life redeemed again).  Gal 1:16

Gal 1:15 But when God, who had set me apart even from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace, was pleased 16 to reveal His Son in me, so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles,

Gal 1:16 This is the heart of the gospel that I proclaim; it began with an unveiling of his Son in me, freeing me to announce the same sonship to the nations. He is also already in everyone seeking to reveal Himself to them and release their destinies.

John 4:42 We no longer believe because of what you said, for we have heard for ourselves and know that this really is the Saviour of the world. The Cosmos in all its universal meanings.

John 6:37, All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day.

John 3:35 The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand. John 13:3 Jesus knew that the Father had given all things into His hands. John 10:28 and I give age enduring life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.

John 17:2 even as You gave Him authority over all flesh, that to all whom You have given Him, He may give (eternal) age enduring life. 3 This is (eternal) age enduring life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

John 12:32 if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw (drag) all men to Myself. The evidence from Jesus direct teachings as the living word of God and the way truth and life reveals that He died for all and saved all mankind and made all alive.

1 Tim 2:3 This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself as a ransom for all.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. Repentance Metanoia – with mind a radical shift of thinking to agree with God’s mind about us.

Titus 2:11: “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people. “1 Timothy 4:10: “We have our hope set on the living God, who is the Saviour of all people, especially of those who believe.” Especially not exclusively.

Rev 5:13 And every created thing which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all things in them, I heard saying, “To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honour and glory and dominion forever and ever.”

Phil 2:11 and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.  Rom 14:9 For to this end Christ died and lived again, that He might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.11 For it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall give praise to God.”

1 Cor 12:3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus is accursed”; and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit. No one is forced to make Jesus Lord but all can choose to make Jesus Lord both the living and the departed.

Rom 2:4 Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance? (metanoia). To agree with God about you. Can physical death stop God being kind, tolerant or patient?

The meaning is clear and transparent! God is the Saviour of everyone! He is the Saviour of everyone believers are experiencing this now and not yet believers can experience this at anytime when they come to the realization of the truth of what Jesus has already done for us all.

Eph 3:16-18 I desire for you to become intimately acquainted with the love of Christ on the deepest possible level; far beyond the reach of a mere academic, intellectual grasp. So that you may be filled with all the fullness of God! Awaken to the consciousness of his closeness! Separation is an illusion! Oneness was God’s idea all along!

Sin centered theology forces external controls on an internal love encounter with the living Spirit of God. No wonder many don’t know His voice within – we are too busy looking for an external answer for direction and self-control.

Man has made sin and fear the root of our Christianity when God has designed us in His own moral image for His love and power within to be the root of our walk. Silence the external noise, and simply listen.

Engage the living God for restoration. ask Him to reveal:  What is missing from my life?  What is broken in my life?  What has been lost in my life?  What has been robbed from my life?  What needs to be restored in my life?

Look into the eyes of the resurrected Prince of Peace, shalom, wholeness, nothing missing nothing broken and  restoration and see those the deep pools of love grace and mercy.

Close your eyes and begin to think of Jesus and let that form in your imagination. Look into the eyes of the Prince of Peace. Ask Jesus to restore all things to you. Ask Jesus to restore your sonship.

Ask Jesus to restore your glory and light .Ask Jesus to restore your passion and zeal for Him and creation.

Ask Jesus to restore you to your position of authority as a son. Ask Jesus to take you beyond where you have been before. Let Jesus take you back to your eternal origin within the heart of God.
