CONFESS OUR SIN

We have two relationships with God, one in eternity and one right now in the time realm. God see’s us perfect in Christ but also deals with us now concerning the unrighteousness of our heart. God deals with us, because He has something better for us, and does not wish to leave us in the state we are in now.

If we are born from above being a son or daughter of God through receiving the seed or DNA of God, all our sins, past, present and future are forgiven in Christ. If we die without a pure heart, we go to heaven when we die, but we have to get cleansed in the river of the water of life, before we can meet our heavenly Father. The river of life washes us, and cleanses us, so that we have no memory of the sin that has been in our life on earth.

Life on planet earth is just a school for us learning how to trust and love God and then love others with the God kind of love. The level of spiritual maturity we attain in this life, determines our position and government in the Kingdom when we die. But we still keep growing when we get to heaven because we see Him as He is.

1 John 3:1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

When we confess our sin; we are just saying the same thing about it as God says. Sin is a result of not partaking of our inheritance or divine nature, that is the root of sin, if you look up the root word in the Greek.

Sin is manifested in our life by not doing the good we should, any wrongdoing and whatever is not of faith, we are accountable for the level of light we are receiving from the Lord. He deals with us on the spiritual level we are on.

We go from grace to grace, faith to faith, strength to strength and glory to glory. What may be sin for us may not be sin for another in the sense of what the Holy Spirit is convicting them of.

We escape the lust that is in the world by partaking of the divine nature. We are learning how to walk with God, and when a baby is learning how to walk, they fall down all the time in the natural. It is the same in the spirit. First the natural and then the spiritual (1 Cor 15:46.) It is a spiritual principle.

1 john I :9 If we confess (continuous action subject to a condition, to agree, declare openly, say the same thing God says) our sins (definite article- the Sin, noun-( referring to the sin of Adam that we inherited), the sin is being without a share in, a part assigned to one, which is the root of the word. Not partaking in or sharing in our identity, inheritance, and destiny), he is (occurring now, continuous, he is) faithful (from a word meaning to persuade or win over, worthy of belief, trust, or confidence) and just (Righteous) to forgive (from apó – from, and hiēmi – to send. To send forth or away-the power of sin is removed from us. The Father does not hold it in His consciousness) us our sins (the Sin, noun- referring to the sin of Adam that we inherited), and to cleanse (momentary action subject to a condition- to cleanse us or make us clean from the effects of the sin) us from all (totality-the whole) unrighteousness.
