Jesus’ appearance was changed and was glorious with divine brightness on the mount of transfiguration.
Matthew 17:2- and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.
This is the glory the Lord is bringing us into.
Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
Theword risen in the Hebrew means-to irradiate (or shoot forth beams).
The transformation glory comes from the inside out.
What is stopping us from this transformation?
Our mind
Romans 12: 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Our mind is not our brain. Our mind is a function of our soul, and our brain is a function of our body.
Our brain is like a computer, it records our life events. It records our experiences in the natural and spiritual realms. Our everyday actions, what we do, what we practice is recorded in our brains. In turn what is recorded can then flow into our minds so that we can understand it.
To be transformed we need to have encounters with the lord, where what we encounter in those encounters, flows into our mind, thus erasing wrong programming.
1 CORINTHIANS 14:6 Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?
The Apostle Paul here speaks of four ways to communicate truth: Revelation, Knowledge, Prophesying, and Doctrine.
The Lord is going to deconstruct some of the doctrines we have been taught in church, that are hindering our transformation.
We are going to learn how to walk in the spirit. When we do it will be impossible to fulfill the lust of the flesh.
We are going to experience this transformation; it is our destiny!
