In a walk with God, we walk on a path that is symbolically called the way of the tree of life. This path consists of two pathways. The pathway of relationship (which is the pathway of intimacy) and the pathway of relationship.
As we develop intimacy with God through the pathway of relationship, working on the gateways of spirit, soul and body, so that they come under the lordship of Jesus Christ, where the life of God is flowing unhindered, then we enter upon the pathway of responsibility.
When I hear the term forerunner and look at the people in my life who have been called forerunners, the image that goes through my mind is one of a person with whom God entrusted something really special. Then one of 3 things happened. It was stewarded well, or it was squandered because personal gain became more important or God moved on and the individual and they refused to move forward, take the next step in their walk with God (and camped in their revelation).
Let us be faithful stewards of what we have been given and grow in governance of the earth as we continue to understand who we are and what the father has said of us since before the foundation of the earth.
In the earth today there are many forerunners, most of which prefer to remain unknown unless they have a God-given platform from which to operate corporately.
In my opinion the vast majority are not known across the earth. But They are known in heaven. These forerunners both known and unknown are responsible for governing the earth from heaven and are directly involved in the timing of the release of major God events as well as setting borders and parameters around things that will go wrong. This kind of authority can only come through assuming and taking responsibility.
Being a forerunner is a high privilege that only comes through intimacy. Soon, some in the body of Christ will begin to operate in what these have pioneered and enter into Mature sonship. It is time for sons all over the earth to begin governing and fathering that we may all come into the fullness of the testimony spoken before the foundation of the earth.
