What is babylon?

Babylon consists of basically two origins. Commercial Babylon and religious Babylon.

Our government at the present time is Babylon. God’s government is a theocracy not a democracy. Jesus is the king of kings (we are those kings and priests under the Lordship of Jesus Christ the king of kings). And we serve the people on God’s terms, not the people’s terms.

A theocracy is a government or kingdom, that is run by Jesus who will turn it over to the Father when we bring all his enemies under our feet.

A theocracy is a government that is run by divine guidance. We are ambassadors of that government when we are mature male and female sons of God who are Led by the Spirit.

Commercial Babylon uses its systems to maintain influence: politics, media and so forth.

Revelation 18:11 “And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise anymore:

What do we call religious Babylon? Babylon is anything that God has done in the past that now rejects the divine order God is restoring. It does not matter how far a movement has gone in the Lord; it automatically becomes Babylon at that moment of rejection.

Revelation 18: 4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.

The minute a movement is established as a thing of Babylon, the Spirit starts to draw people out of it. No matter how many people love God and have walked along with God, even in great experiences, as soon as they individually or as a system start condemning and speaking against the divine order God is restoring, it is Babylon.

Considering the church you are attending, can you hear that still small voice saying come out of her, it has become a part of religious Babylon. Do not believe the lie that “We’ll God told me to stay there so that I can reach the people in it.”

Instead, why don’t you start a fellowship, a bible study with prayer and worship in your home. This is what they did in the early church, they met in homes. And they ate together, that it why it is called the “Lord’s supper” They broke bread and drank wine together, another words that ate dinner together. I think the wine was not as strong as it is today or it was not fermented, it was the common drink of the day, and the water was often not safe to drink because of bacteria, so they mixed it with wine or grape juice.

I remember reading a book about the life of Smith Wigglesworth, how he was involved with different movements of his day and the Lord kept calling him to come out, so he became involved in another movement and the Lord said, come out. Eventually he had his own meetings. He discipled Lester Summral, and would not let him bring a newspaper in his house. I would like a ministry like he had wouldn’t you? Then COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE SAITH THE LORD! I have kept coming out of churches because I want more and more of the measure of Spirit of God.
