The anointing is the manifest power of God. It is the ability of God to work through us. It is a divine enablement to accomplish the will of God in the earth.
1 Corinthians 4:20 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.
We need to learn how to cooperate with the anointing. It is in this place of submission to the Lord, yielding to the anointing, that we are transformed.
1 Samuel 10:6 The Spirit of the Lord will come powerfully upon you and you will be changed into a different person.
The anointing is able to change our personality, our attitudes and behavior. This is the evidence of the anointing taking over.
Psalm 84:7 We go from strength to strength. This is speaking of the anointing.
There are three dimensions of the anointing, the anointing of priests, the anointing of prophets and the anointing of Kings.
There are three definitions of the anointing 1- to pour out. 2-to smear over and 3-to rub in. The outpouring of the Spirit, the covering of the Spirit, and the interpenetration of the Spirit.
We need to allow the anointing to be worked into us, rubbed into every area of our lives, spirit, soul and body.
The reason why ministries can operate in supernatural power and still fall morally is because they have not submitted themselves to the third dimension of the anointing, allowing it to be rubbed within every area of their lives.
As we spend time in God’s presence the anointing increases and we go from strength to strength.
We need to move on from the initial outpouring of the anointing into the covering of the anointing into the soaking of the anointing which interpenetrates the very core of our being.
We need to submit to the process of the anointing, the anointing comes to do a work within.
God works within us in degrees; we must allow the anointing to do its perfect work within to experience the fullness of the Spirit.
God wants to fill us with His glory and the anointing prepares us for it. We transition from anointing to glory.
