Most Christians quote Jesus, but very few actually listen to Him.
One of the clearest commandments Jesus ever gave was this:
“In your patience, possess your souls.”
(Luke 21:19)
Not invite Me into your soul.
Not ask Me to take over your life.
Not repeat a prayer and you’re done.
He said:
Possess your soul — take ownership of your inner world.
But Christianity did everything it could to reverse His words.
WHAT JESUS ACTUALLY TAUGHT US TO DO ![]()
Jesus gave us the blueprint:
Matthew 6:6 — Go into the secret place
Your inner temple.
Your inner chamber.
Your inner awareness.
Not a church building.
Matthew 6:22 — Make the eye single
Union.
Alignment.
Returning to oneness within.
Matthew 6:33 — Seek first the Kingdom
Not a religion.
Not a doctrine.
Not a pastor.
The Kingdom within.
Jesus taught inward transformation — not external religion.
WHAT CHRISTIANITY TAUGHT US INSTEAD ![]()
Christianity handed us a gospel completely foreign to Jesus:
“Ask Jesus into your heart.”
“Receive the Holy Spirit by repeating this prayer.”
“Say the name and heaven is guaranteed.”
But here is the question nobody in the church wants to face:
How can you ask Jesus into a place the Bible says He already is?
Scripture literally says:
“Eternity is in every man’s heart.”
(Ecclesiastes 3:11)
So what are you actually receiving?
Something new?
Or something that was always there?
The Bible says:
“…you were in Christ before the foundation of the world.”
(Ephesians 1:4)
So how could you “receive” the Spirit
if the Spirit is the breath you’ve taken every moment of your life?
You didn’t receive something you never had.
You woke up to something you always were.
And the tragedy is this:
Christianity taught us that salvation is an external transaction
instead of an internal awakening.
It told us that union comes from saying a name
instead of embodying the nature of Christ within.
It told us fear was a doorway
instead of love being the only foundation.
It taught us a gospel of separation
instead of the gospel of origin.
REPENTANCE IS NOT FEAR — IT’S AWAKENING![]()
“The goodness of God leads men to repentance.”
Repentance is not fear-based.
It’s not a threat of hell.
It’s not repeating a formula.
And it’s not inviting Someone in who was never out.
Repentance means:
A higher thought.
A higher perception.
A higher frequency.
A return to the truth of your being.
If you “gave your life to Jesus” because you were terrified —
you didn’t repent.
You panicked.
Fear doesn’t transform anyone.
Fear only freezes the soul.
Perfect love casts out fear —
which means any gospel rooted in fear is anti-Christ in nature.
WHEN YOU CONFESS SEPARATION, YOU CONFESS DELUSION ![]()
Colossians tells you:
“You were once alienated in your mind.”
Separation has never been real — only believed.
So when you say:
“I’m a sinner.”
“I’m unworthy.”
“I’m broken.”
“I’m far from God.”
You’re not being biblical —
you’re being delusional.
You are confessing the lie Jesus destroyed.
You’re reinforcing the carnal mind —
the mind Scripture calls sensual, earthly, and demonic.
You’re declaring bondage while begging for freedom.
And the saddest part?
You’re asking for Someone to come in…
when He’s been home the entire time.
IF YOU HAVEN’T POSSESSED YOUR SOUL, SOMEONE ELSE HAS ![]()
If you still believe:
God tortures forever
Hell is literal fire
Salvation is a ritual
Union depends on behavior
Heaven is only after death
Fear equals wisdom
Then your soul is possessed —
but not by you.
It is possessed by:
Religion
Tradition
Fear
Doctrine
Programming
Childhood conditioning
Groupthink
The outer court
The systems of men
Jesus didn’t tell you to outsource your soul.
He told you to possess it.
And the moment you do?
Fear dies.
Hell dissolves.
Division melts.
Union awakens.
THE PLANK AND THE MIRROR ![]()
Jesus said:
“Remove the plank from your eye, and you will see clearly.”
That plank is always separation.
Once separation falls away, you no longer see sinners —
you see maturity levels.
You see awakening stages.
You see consciousness patterns.
You finally discern the difference between:
Someone living from the carnal mind
and
Someone living from the mind of Christ.
And here’s the thing—
The mind of Christ doesn’t beg for God.
It embodies God.
Not in arrogance.
In origin.
You don’t become God —
you awaken to the truth
you were never anything less.
SPIRIT’S WHISPER ![]()
“You have never been far from Me.
You only believed you were.
Awaken, beloved—
possess your soul,
and you will discover the Kingdom
that has always lived within you.”
By Keith Brown
