We have been psychologically conditioned by religion to separate ourselves from Jesus, as if He were made of something we are not. But the scriptures themselves say the opposite — over and over again.
The greatest deception ever taught in Western Christianity is this:
“Jesus was divine, you are not.”
“Jesus was perfect, you are not.”
“Jesus was the Christ, you are only human.”
But the Bible itself dismantles that mythology.
THE SCRIPTURES THAT RELIGION IGNORED
1. “As He is, so are we in this world.” — 1 John 4:17
Not after you die.
Not once you clean your life up.
Not one day in heaven.
IN THIS WORLD.
RIGHT NOW.
John says you are the same nature, reflection, and essence.
2. Jesus was “made like us in every way.” — Hebrews 2:17
Every way means every way.
Not “almost every way.”
Not “every way except His divine nature.”
Not “every way except perfection.”
Every way.
Because His divinity is the blueprint of yours.
3. “We are bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh.” — Ephesians 5:30
If He is divine…
If His nature is eternal…
If His life is incorruptible…
Then yours carries the same seed, the same essence, the same origin.
4. “He is the firstborn among many brothers.” — Romans 8:29
Firstborn of many, not “one of one.”
Meaning the pattern, not the exception.
The Christ is not a last name —
It is a title, a consciousness, an anointing, a revelation, a state of union.
5. “The fullness of God dwells in Him bodily… and you have been given that fullness.” — Colossians 2:9–10
Religion preached verse 9.
It ignored verse 10.
Because verse 10 destroys its entire hierarchy.
6. “Eternity is written in every man’s heart.” — Ecclesiastes 3:11
Not written in some hearts.
Not written in “Christians.”
In every man.
Because every man carries the divine spark.
7. “You are created in the image and likeness of Elohim.” — Genesis 1:26
Image = essence.
Likeness = nature.
This is not poetry.
This is ontology — the truth of your being.
THE HYPOSTATIC UNION IS YOUR UNION TOO
Jesus did not come to show you what He alone was.
He came to show you what you have always been.
Fully human.
Fully divine.
Spirit wrapped in flesh.
Eternal breath living in temporal form.
The Church taught you that this was only true of Jesus, but the scriptures say otherwise.
Divinity in Jesus is prototype — not monopoly.
THE REAL PSYCHOLOGICAL TRAP
You were told:
“To see yourself as divine is pride.”
“To claim union is deception.”
“To be one with God is heresy.”
But here’s the truth:
The greatest heresy is to deny the image of God in yourself.
You cannot worship God in Spirit and Truth
while calling yourself
“just human,”
“just a sinner,”
“just broken,”
“just dust.”
Dust does not carry the incorruptible seed.
Dust does not host the Logos.
Dust is not called child of God, son, heir, partaker of the divine nature.
You are both human and divine.
Jesus showed you what it looks like when Spirit has dominion over the lower nature.
That is your path too.
That is your inheritance.
That is your origin.
That is your truth.
THE CHRISTOS IN YOU
The Christos (χρῖσμα) —
the anointing, the inner oil, the divine consciousness —
is not limited to one person.
It is Christ IN you, the hope of glory.
Not Christ outside you.
Not Christ far away.
Not Christ instead of you.
Christ in you.
Christ through you.
Christ as you awaken.
You don’t diminish Jesus by awakening to your divinity.
You honor Him.
Because He said:
“YOU will do greater works than these.”
(John 14:12)
Only someone sharing His nature, His Spirit, and His origin could fulfill that.
“I never asked you to worship separation.
I asked you to remember union.
For the same breath in Jesus
is the breath in you.
Awaken, child —
for the image you behold
is the image you are.”
