I still contemplate how to reach people with truth and with love.
Because that’s the whole point of this life — union, reconciliation, restoring people to the Father through the Spirit of Truth. That’s the ministry we’ve been given.
And the Spirit showed me something simple the other day:
If I told the world a certain woman was my girlfriend…
but I never spoke to her…
never looked at her…
never had a conversation with her…
and only read her Facebook profile and her biography…
Most people would call me crazy.
Because reading about someone is not the same as knowing someone.
But that is EXACTLY what the religion of today has become.
People read the Bible like a dating profile and walk around saying:
“I know God.”
Yet they’ve never spoken to the Father.
Never heard the Spirit.
Never experienced the Christ within.
Never entered the Kingdom Jesus said is inside of you.
And then they fight tooth and nail to defend the very system that keeps them from the One they claim to love.
THE RELIGION OF THE BOOK WITHOUT THE AUTHOR ![]()
People say:
“Follow the Word of God!”
But they mean follow the book, not the Logos.
The same people who quote the Bible the loudest
often refuse to speak to the Living Author inside their own being.
They use
the Bible
like a club — swinging verses at people who actually walk with God.
They try to win arguments
while losing their hearts.
They divide the world
while defending a doctrine of unity.
They call it “truth,”
but truth doesn’t need to shout.
Truth doesn’t need to attack.
Truth doesn’t need to threaten, mock, or fear.
Truth loves.
THE GIRLFRIEND YOU DON’T HAVE
It’s like boasting about a relationship you don’t have.
Saying:
“This is my girlfriend — see, I read her bio!”
But refusing to actually meet her.
That’s what happens when someone substitutes information
for relationship,
and letter
for Spirit.
And that’s why religion is toxic:
It convinces people they can know God without ever talking to God.
It convinces people that reading about Him is the same as beholding Him.
It convinces people that after they die, THEN they’ll have relationship — while completely ignoring the invitation into union now.
THE LIVING LOGOS IS NOT THE LETTER ![]()
The written word ends.
The ink has limits.
The text stops at the page.
But the Logos —the eternal Word, the divine
blueprint— does not end.
It continues.
It speaks.
It reveals.
It awakens.
It transforms.
The written word can point you to the door,
but it can’t walk you through it.
The Logos is the door.
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN IMMATURE AND MATURE SPIRITUALITY
Immature spirituality looks for people to correct.
Mature spirituality looks for people to love.
Immature spirituality hunts for heresy.
Mature spirituality hunts for connection.
Immature spirituality quotes verses at strangers.
Mature spirituality carries the Author within their being.
Immature spirituality accuses.
Mature spirituality reconciles.
We were given the ministry of reconciliation —
not the ministry of argumentation.
Not the ministry of condemnation.
Not the ministry of Bible trivia.
Not the ministry of “I’m right, you’re wrong.”
The ministry of reconciliation.
The ministry of union.
The ministry of oneness.
The ministry of Spirit.
THE PARADOX: I FOUND ALL THIS BY FOLLOWING THE BIBLE ![]()
That’s the funny part.
I followed the Bible.
I obeyed the written word.
And the written word led me to…
the Living Word.
And once you meet the Living Word,
you realize the written word was the map,
not the destination.
The book introduces you.
The Spirit marries you.
The letter prepares you.
The Logos transforms you.
The written word ends.
The Living Word is eternal.
You have read My stories
but I have written Myself in you.
Close the book for a moment
and open your heart.
I am not waiting on a page
for you to find Me—
I am the voice between your breaths,
the Presence behind your eyes,
the Lover who refuses
to only be your biography.
Come talk to Me,
not just about Me…
and you will discover
that the Word you were defending
has been living inside you all along.
