We need to have our first love gate in our spirit open and flowing.
What is the first love gate? It is the access point between our spirit and God’s Spirit. It is the place of connection between our spirit and God’s Spirit. This gateway is the place where our spirit becomes aware of God’s Spirit as His life flows into it.
The life of God flows from God’s Spirit into our spirit in a gateway that we call first love, because this is the place where the Holy Spirit caused our spirit to come alive to Him. It is the place where our spirit was given divine life, the place in which our spirit became born again. It is the place of the most intimate act of love where God impregnated us with Himself.
It is called first love, because it was the first time our spirit experienced the love of God, flowing into it. This was the time when our spirit was born again; this was the time when the divine uncreated eternal life of God entered into it and caused it to come alive to Him. God’s life coming into our spirit caused our spirit to become conscious of God.
We are a three part being, spirit, soul and body. When our spirit is born again, it becomes God conscious. Our soul is the part of us in which we have self conscious. Our body gives us a consciousness of the world around us.
When our soul becomes conscious of the life of God flowing into our spirit, then our soul becomes conscious of first love, it becomes conscious of the presence of God.
First love is experiencing the presence of God, where He becomes more real than our surroundings. First love is experiencing the presence of God in such a way that we are partaking of the nature of it.
In His presence we experience His love for us which passes our ability to comprehend how someone could love us so much. We begin to experience His Joy which surpasses any pleasurable feelings we have known so that we cannot describe it adequately with words.
When our soul is awareness of the presence of God there is a fullness of joy, we are totally satisfied, and we have no other desires in that moment in time. When our soul is aware of His presence we can feel His love for us which breaks us, it causes us to weep with tears of joy.
It is possible for a person’s spirit to be born again and their soul is not conscious of it because they always believed in God, but when a person is baptized in the Holy Spirit, their soul will become conscious of God and experience this divine love, which we call first love because of its affect on the soul.
If you have never experienced first love, then your spirit has not been born again, or you have not been baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
If you have lost the feeling of first love in your soul, in your emotions, it is because the gateways of your soul need to be cleansed renewed and restored and made whole.
When a person first gets saved they usually experience first love in their emotions, because every area of their life is surrendered to the lordship of Jesus Christ.
The life of God has to flow into our spirit and then into all our soul gates, especially of will and choice so that we surrender to the love of God in obedience.
The life of God has to flow into our spirit and then into our soul gate of emotion in order to feel first love, but this gate can be blocked by guilt, shame, fear, worry or any other kind of contrary emotion.
When we get all our spirit, soul, and body gets cleansed and flowing then we can once again feel first love, and live continually in the joy of the Lord.
We have a list of nine different aspects of Gods nature which is called the fruit of the Spirit. Gal 5:22.
But the bible says fruit not fruits of the Spirit. God is love, that is His nature, so the fruit of the Spirit is love and we have a list of eight different things that flow with it. God’s love is full of joy, it is full of peace and long-suffering and gentleness and goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, it is expressed in all these ways.
So our first love gateway is where the life of God or the fruit of the Spirit flows into our spirit, where our spirit experiences and our soul becomes aware of the fruit of Gods Spirit, which is His divine nature.
So the life of God flows into our spirit at the first love gate. Then the Life of God flows out of our spirit through eight different gateways into our soul. These eight gateways are revelation, intuition, faith, and hope, fear of God, reverence, prayer, and worship.
