What is the precious fruit of the earth?
The precious fruit of the earth is, brothers and sisters, I have been led by God to deal with an important truth that will transform your Christian life.
For some time now, this thought has been pressing on my mind with such weight that I cannot keep silent about it any longer.
It’s the thought of abiding in God.
Listen to me carefully, there is joy, unspeakable joy in being at the place where we can always count on being in the presence of power.
There’s a place where you know that God’s presence is with you, leading you to the place where victory is assured.
Here’s what most believers don’t understand: if we keep in the right place with God, God can do anything with us. Anything.
But the tragedy is that most Christians are running around trying to do something for God in their own strength, and they wonder why nothing is happening. They’re exhausted, frustrated, and powerless.
In this teaching, I’m going to show you why. More importantly, I’m going to show you the secret that changes everything.
Let me take you to two powerful passages of scripture that will revolutionize the way you walk with God.
Psalm 91: 1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”
Do you know the presence of the Almighty? It is wonderful. It is a place of absolute certainty, with no wavering, no unbelief, no unrest. It is perfect.
My great desire today is to see you become strong in the Lord by dwelling in the secret place. This place is known to all who fear Him.
Now, I need to explain something critical here. There are two kinds of fear when it comes to God.
The first kind of fear is being afraid of God like you are afraid of punishment. I hope you are not there. That is where unbelievers live.
But you, as a believer, should desire to die rather than grieve God by fearing him in this way.
The second kind of fear is reverence and honor.
This is the fear that brings you into the secret place. This is the fear that Moses understood. Moses feared God with this reverent fear and said to him in Exodus 33:15,
Exodus 33:15 If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.
Oh, to dwell in the secret place, to live in his presence! What will this presence do for you?
It will dare you to believe everything God says. It will assist you to lay hold of the promises.
You will have God so indwelling you that you will become a force, a power of God’s abiding, until the time death is swallowed up in victory.
If you are dwelling in the secret place that verse 1 describes, here is what you will experience. You will be able to say what verse 2 says. Who will say it? He that abides. The person who abides in the Lord knows he can trust in the Lord to protect him from harm. 2 says, I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress my God, in him will I trust.’
Now listen carefully. There is no anger in the secret place, no evil temper, no irritability. All of that is swept away while you are dwelling in the presence of the Almighty, in the covering of God.
Even the best of humanity, when it comes from the devil, is not good and cannot remain in God’s presence.
As 1 John 3:8 tells us, Jesus was manifested to destroy all the works of the devil. Let me show you something powerful.
Romans 8:3 declares, for what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh.
God sent forth Jesus in the mightiness of his power. In flesh, and in the midst of flesh, he condemned it.
The law of the Spirit of Life was destroying all that must be destroyed. Dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God, we are above all in him. He that is above all, and through all, and in you all.
This is a fact, not in human nature, but in God. It is the gift of God from heaven.
We belong to the new creation, and we are in a wonderful place in life. It is a life free from the law of sin and death. Now here is the question.
Can we keep ourselves there? No. But God can keep us there. Has he forgotten to keep you? No. He cannot forget.
God has much in store for you. You are far from being out of his thoughts. There was a time when the children of Israel hung their harps on the willows in defeat.
Sometimes believers do the same thing. The song of joy leaves their hearts. But it does not have to happen.
I have seen thousands delivered from evil powers. You must understand that there is a great weakness in the land. It is a lack of knowledge.
People dig out cisterns that can hold no water, instead of filling themselves with the word of God.
You see, 1 John 4:18 says, There is no fear in love, but perfect love casteth out fear.
And where is God? Who is love? He is in the Word. He has embodied Himself in the Word.
The Word spells destruction to all evil, because God is in the Word, and He is greater than all evil.
Therefore, the person who dwells in love is master of evil situations. The person who dwells in God, in His presence, and in his word, is master of evil situations. We have no fear. We are over every sickness. Ours is a perfect redemption.
Now, concerning the healing Christ secured for us in redemption, some people ask, Does it last? Does the healing stand good?
Let me tell you about my personal testimony. Many years ago, God healed me when all my teeth were decayed and weak. God healed them when I was 62 years old.
Today, I am as fresh as a boy. Now, devil, take that. Such healing is God’s plan, which is better than any other plan. But here is what happens.
Some people turn from God’s plan because of fear. Others throw over God’s wonderful plan because of a feeling.
The Bible has so many precious promises, with wealth beyond all price, that God has planned for us to have.
Seek after God’s plan. Don’t be unbelieving, for the waverer gets nothing.
Real faith is established, never changing, and with it, you will get all God has for you.
Now you are asking, how can I get established faith? Here is the answer:
Abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Don’t change your position, but always have the presence of God, the glory of God.
Pay any price to abide under that covering. Why?
Because the secret of victory is to abide where the victor abides. Jesus has become the author and the finisher of your faith. Through faith in Him, you came to the Father.
Romans 10:10 for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Your life is hidden with Christ in God. You have no limitations when the holy breath blows an inward cry after him. Do you know his name? Not just the word Jesus that you whisper now and then. I mean, do you really know his name? If you do, God will set you on high.
Psalm 91:14 promises,
Psalm 91:14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
When you truly know Jesus’ name, you can ask what you will: communion with Jesus, fellowship divine, and it shall be given to you.
But it comes through knowledge of Jesus’ name, not just just by whispering it casually.
Psalm 91 verse 15 declares, He shall call upon me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him.
Feed upon his word. To those who do, God has said in Psalm 91:16, With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.
Now, here is what I must challenge you with today.
Most Christians never pay the price to dwell in the secret place.
They want the blessing without the abiding. They want the protection without the presence. They want victory without positioning themselves where the victor lives.
Listen to me carefully. You cannot defeat the enemy from a distance. You cannot walk in divine health while living in fear. You cannot experience God’s supernatural provision while dwelling in doubt.
The secret place is not a location you visit once a week. It is not a feeling you get during worship.
It is a lifestyle of abiding. It is a constant dwelling in his presence. Most believers know about God, but God is calling you to know God. Moses understood this. He refused to move forward without God’s manifest presence.
Exodus 33:13, Now therefore I pray, if I have found grace in your sight, show me now your way, that I may know you.
That must be your prayer. That must be your determination. You must refuse to live another day, outside of the secret place.
Here is the truth that will set you free: The Christian life is not about trying harder. It is about abiding closer. It is not about doing more. It is about dwelling deeper.
The crown of life is for the overcomer. It is not for those who are at ease in Zion.
We must be in the place where God can depend upon us to keep going until we see victory, never giving in and knowing no defeat, always making our stand by a living faith and gaining the victory. Faith is the victory.
As Jesus declares in John 6:29, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
You are not called to retreat; you are called to advance. Like that drummer boy who never learned to sound the retreat, you must only know how to move forward in faith.
Beloved, there are thousands falling around you. The enemy is attacking on every side. But when you dwell in the secret place, when you abide under the shadow of the Almighty, you have this promise: A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand, but it shall not come nigh thee.
This is not arrogance. This is not presumption. This is the promise of God to those who dwell in his presence.
Fellowship with God, peace, and power. This is God’s will for you. No price is too great to pay to have it. It is your inheritance. Christ purchased it for you. Through him, you have the covering of the presence of the Almighty.
Stop living beneath your inheritance.
Stop accepting defeat as normal.
Stop thinking that sickness, fear, and weakness are just part of the Christian life.
We have a great salvation, filled with inspiration. It has no limitations. It makes known the immeasurable wonders of God.
The Word of God is your weapon. The presence of God, is your dwelling place. The name of Jesus is your authority. Use them.
When you dwell in the secret place, you discover that God’s presence becomes more real than any circumstance.
His word becomes more powerful than any diagnosis.
His name becomes more authoritative than any demonic attack.
Brothers and sisters, I am not preaching theory. I am preaching reality. I have lived this. I have seen God heal my own body. I have watched him deliver thousands from evil powers. I have experienced his faithfulness day after day, year after year.
And what God has done for me; he will do for you. If you will pay the price to dwell in his presence, if you will refuse to retreat before the enemy, if you will abide where the victor abides.
Today, I am calling you out of spiritual mediocrity.
I am calling you out of weekend Christianity.
I am calling you into the secret place of the Most High.
This is not a place of passivity. This is not a place of weakness. This is the place of absolute victory. This is where God’s power flows unhindered. This is where His promises become your daily reality.
Don’t be like those who turn from God’s plan because of fear.
Don’t be like those who abandon his promises because of feelings.
The Bible is filled with precious promises of wealth beyond all price that God has planned for you to have. Seek after God’s plan. Don’t be unbelieving, for the waverer gets nothing. But real faith is established, never changing. And with it, you will get all God has for you.
Higher, higher, nothing dreading, never, never let me stop. In thy footsteps, keep my treading. Give me strength to reach the top.
That must be your cry.
That must be your determination.
Heavenly Father, I come before you in the mighty name of Jesus. Thank you for revealing the secret place to your children today.
I pray that every person hearing this message will refuse to live another day in defeat. Give them the courage to pay any price to dwell in your presence. Open their eyes to see that you have already provided everything they need through Christ’s finished work.
Break every chain of fear, doubt, and unbelief right now. Let them know your name in power. Let them abide under the shadow of the Almighty, where no evil can touch them.
I declare that they will be overcomers, walking in divine health, supernatural provision, and unshakable faith. May they refuse to retreat and know only how to advance in your victory. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
I believe with all my heart that as you have learned about the secret place today, you have discovered the key to unwavering victory.
The understanding you have gained is already working in your life to establish you in God’s presence like never before.
Share one area where you are refusing to retreat and choosing to abide in God’s presence instead.
Your declaration might encourage someone else today who needs to hear that victory is possible.
We need anointed teachings that will help us grow spiritually and walk in the authority Christ intended for us.
Start each morning by reading Psalm 91 aloud. Declare it over your life. Let it become the foundation of your faith. Make dwelling in God’s presence your first priority, not your last resort.
When challenges come, instead of panicking, immediately run into the secret place where the victor abides.
You have discovered the secret place where God’s presence dwells, but how do you activate the power that flows from that place?
What is the force that transforms dwelling into doing, presence into power, and protection into victory?
How does faith become more than just belief, becoming the very substance that creates what you hope for and proves what you cannot yet see?
What if the faith working in you right now is actually the nature of God Himself, moving through your life to produce the impossible?
Living faith operates as divine substance. Learn why faith always moves from victory to victory without ever knowing defeat and unlock the secret to making God’s power manifest in every area of your life through faith that knows no limitations.
