There are mysteries interwoven throughout Scripture, keys that becomes an entrance, a doorway, a portal. John 1:51 is one of these passages.
It is not merely a verse; it is a map of the unseen, a dimensional blueprint revealing who we are as New Creation beings. It unveils the architecture of ascension, the union of realms, and the restoration of humanity’s original calling as cosmic intermediaries — those who move freely between Heaven and Earth.
Jacob saw it first in shadow.
Yeshua revealed it in fullness.
And the sons of this age are awakening to it now.
“You will see heaven opened, and the [angels] of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”

This passage is a map of the unseen, a dimensional blueprint revealing who we are as New Creation beings. It unveils the architecture of ascension, the union of realms, and the restoration of humanity’s original calling as cosmic intermediaries —those who move freely between Heaven and Earth.
Jacob saw it first in shadow. Yeshua revealed it in fullness. And the sons of this age are awakening to it now. It holds the blueprint for ascension, union, and the restoration of humanity’s original function as multidimensional beings.
Let’s walk through it.
The Real Meaning of “Angels” — Malakim in Hebrew & Aramaic
The Greek word angeloi obscures the nuance of the original language.
In both Hebrew (מלאכים malʾakhim) and Aramaic (ܡܠܐܟܐ malakheh), the word does not mean “angelic beings” as a species.
It means:
- messenger
- envoy
- one who carries a function
- one who moves between realms on assignment
Humans, prophets, kings, and priests are called malakim throughout Scripture.
Jacob himself sends human malakim to Esau (Genesis 32:3).
Haggai is called Yahweh’s malak (Haggai 1:13).
The Messiah is called a malak (Malachi 3:1).
So when Yeshua says: “You will see the malakim of God ascending and descending…” He is not talking about angels.
He is unveiling the activity of the ascended sons.
Jacob’s Ladder — A Prophetic Vision
In Genesis 28, Jacob sees: a ladder, rooted on earth, reaching into the heavens, the malakim ascending first, then descending with Yahweh standing above it.
The detail most miss: The malakim ascend first.
Heavenly angels descend first, not ascend — so those ascending must be on earth.
Jacob was seeing the sons before their time, the New Creation sons who would function across dimensions through the Ladder who is Christ.
Yeshua Reveals the Ladder is a Person
When Yeshua says in John 1:51:
“You will see… the malakim of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”
He is declaring:
- I am the Ladder Jacob saw.
- I am the bridge between Heaven and Earth.
- And through Me, the sons will ascend and descend.
The Greek “ἐπὶ τὸν υἱὸν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου” and the Aramaic “על בר אנשא” mean upon, through, in union with.
This is ontological — not metaphorical.
The sons ascend and descend in Him because He restored the original blueprint of humanity.
He is the cosmic bridge.
We are the ones who walk upon Him.
Ascension as the Function of Mature Sons
In Christ, the veil is torn the heavens are open, and the sons regain their ancient function:
- ascending into revelation
- descending with governance
- moving between realms
- bringing heavenly patterns into creation
- bridging dimensions
- functioning as malakim — divine messengers
This is the life Jacob glimpsed and Yeshua fulfilled.
The Pharisaic Spirit — The Ancient Gatekeeper
Now, we must address the conflict.
Why did Yeshua rebuke the Pharisaic spirit more fiercely than any other force on Earth?
Why did He expose them relentlessly?
Why does His sharpest language target them specifically?
Because they were the gatekeepers blocking the sons from ascending.
Matthew 23:13
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
For you shut up the Kingdom of Heaven before men;
you do not enter in yourselves, nor do you permit those who are entering to go in.”
In Hebrew versions (such as the Shem Tov text), the phrase is:
אתם סוגרים מלכות שמים בפני בני אדם
“You shut the Kingdom of Heaven before the sons of man.”
This is not speaking of salvation.
It is speaking of access.
The Pharisaic spirit is a dimensional blocker — a mindset, structure, and religious system that:
- prevents ascension
- restricts consciousness
- denies access to heavenly realms
- enforces separation
- upholds a closed Heaven
- keeps humanity earthbound
This is the greatest threat to the sons, which is why Yeshua confronted it with such precision.
He did not confront Rome this way.
He confronted the gatekeepers of heavenly access.
Why this demonic spirit must be addressed
The Pharisaic spirit is one of the most destructive demonic spirits because:
- It blocks access to the Heavenly Kingdom realms
- It opposes revelation and higher consciousness
- It mocks mystical experience
- It creates separation between Heaven and Earth
- It re-establishes the veil that Christ tore with His own flesh and blood
This is why Yeshua said:
“You yourselves do not enter and.. You prevent those who are entering.”
It restricts the very thing Christ came to restore — direct access to the Father and the Kingdom realms.
The veil represented:
- separation
- limitation
- controlled access
- priestly hierarchy
- the domain of religious gatekeepers
When Yeshua died, the veil tore from top to bottom — from Heaven to Earth.
John 1:51 as our mandate as sons
Yeshua’s words become a prophetic decree:
“You WILL see Heaven opened.”
“You WILL ascend and descend through Me.”
“You WILL function as the malakim of God.”
This is our calling, our mandate and our inheritance – “In Him we live, and move, and have our being” (Acts 17:28)
In Christ we ascend.
In Christ we descend.
In Christ we are seated in Heavenly dimensions.
This is the restoration of humanity’s cosmic function as multidimensional beings, who inhabit the Heavenly realms and are revealed as the fully matured sons across creation.
“For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God“. (Rom 8:19)
Why this is so important
As we step into the revelation of ascension and reclaim our identity as multidimensional sons, we must also recognise that access requires alignment. Access has been restored in Christ, the heavens are open, and our mandate is clear — yet many still feel resistance, limitation, or blockages in the very places where the spirit should flow freely.
This is because the gates of our being — the spiritual, emotional, generational, and even cellular gateways through which ascension occurs — have often been influenced, restricted, or shut by old covenants and agreements to old systems. The Pharisaic spirit, the religious trading floor and its false agreements all work to close the gates Christ opened.
If we are to rise into the ascended life, if we are to stand in our cosmic identity and govern from above —then the gates must be cleansed, healed, and reopened through the work of Christ.
So below is a gate-cleansing process to help you to untether from this false system and bring restoration into Divine union and access into intimacy, and the higher dimensions in Christ. This is a process. Allow the Lord to reveal where the record of these false agreements are coded, and use the below process to clear these.
Gate-Cleansing Activation: Untethering from the Pharisaic System & Restoring the Ladder Within
Take a deep breath and set your awareness on Christ —the true Ladder, the Bridge, the One in whom Heaven and Earth meet.
Allow this activation to flow through your spirit:
1. Centering in Christ
Yeshua, I step into Your presence as the One who tore the veil, opened Heaven, and restored my access to the Father.
I acknowledge You as the Son of Man, the Cosmic Ladder, the One in whom all realms converge.
In You alone I ascend and descend. In You alone I live, move, and exist.
2. Applying the Blood to My Gates
By faith, I apply Your blood to every gate of my being —my mind gate, my heart gate, my DNA gate, my temporal and dimensional gates, my spiritual senses, my identity, and the pathways of ascension embedded within me.
Let Your blood cleanse every frequency, every fracture, every imprint of the old religious system.
Let every gate come back into alignment with the New Creation blueprint You secured through Your cross, resurrection, and ascension.
3. Renouncing the Pharisaic Trading Floor
In Your name, Yeshua;
I renounce every agreement — spoken, inherited, unconscious, or cultural —with the Pharisaic system and its demonic trading floor.
I renounce:
- legalism
- separation
- spiritual hierarchy
- false gatekeeping
- fear-based obedience
- performance religion
- the belief that Heaven is distant
- the belief that access must be earned
Everything that has tethered my gates to this spirit is broken now by the power of Your blood.
Yeshua, I step away from the counterfeit altar, and I step fully into Your finished work.
4. Cleansing the DNA Ladder
Place your hand over your heart.
Yeshua, I invite Your blood to cleanse the spiral ladder of my DNA — the encoded gates of inheritance within me.
Let every strand be washed, realigned, and recalibrated to the frequency of Your resurrection life.
Where trauma wrote its story, let redemption write a new one.
Where religion restricted the flow, let Your Spirit open the pathways.
Where generational fear lived in my cells, let Your truth cleanse and restore.
My DNA belongs to You. My lineage belongs to You. My ascension pathway belongs to You.
5. Reopening the Gates
In Your authority, Yeshua, I decree that every gate closed by fear, shame, religion, or false teaching is now reopened in Your name.
Let the gate of revelation open.
Let the gate of ascension open.
Let the gate of union open.
Let the gate of identity open.
Let the gate of wisdom open.
Let the gate of Divine imagination open.
Every gate that was once blocked is now restored
by the blood that speaks a better word.
6. Stepping Into the Ladder Within
I step into You, Yeshua —the true Ladder, the Bridge, the Pathway of Light.
In union with You:
I ascend.
I descend.
I receive.
I govern.
I move freely between realms.
Not by striving, not by effort, but through the inheritance You secured for me as a son through your blood.
7. Sealing in Union
I seal this activation in Your name, in Your blood, and in Your victory.
My gates are cleansed. My DNA is aligned. The old system is severed. The Ladder is restored within me. And I rise as the son You created me to be.
