Heb 4: 12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
THE WORD OF GOD is Living and powerful, and then it says nothing is hid from HIS sight, whose sight. – THE WORD OF GOD. THE LIVING WORD of God and GOD are synonymous.
The next verse speaks of Jesus as our high priest.
Who is the living word?
Jesus is the living word!
In the parable of the Sower (Matthew 13:3- 23: Mark 4:1–20; Luke 8:4–15) the Sower sows the seed. It also says the word of the kingdom (Matthew 13:19.
Who is the seed, who is the word?
Jesus is the seed or word implanted in our spirit when we are born again. Christ in us, is the word in our spirit.
That seed, that word, Jesus in seed form is implanted or conceived in our spirit. Our spirit and Christ in us are the same thing. Our spirit is Christ’s spirit in seed form in our spirit.
Our spirit can be defiled, it can be filthy, we can have a bad spirit, or a right spirit.
But Jesus in our spirit cannot sin.
When our heart which is the soil, is pure the seed or DNA of God will grow into the full stature of Christ.
The word in our spirit, or Jesus in our spirit cannot sin.
Now this verse Hebrews4: 12-13 elevates the Bible way above all other books in the world.
The Bible is not just an ordinary book, it is a personality, but more than that it is God.
Every time you pick up the Bible and read it in the original language, through the revelation of the Holy Spirit, it is God speaking to you.
It’s just as if the Lord was standing in front of you in person speaking to you. That makes it different than any other book.
We need to understand the authority of God’s written word and what our attitude is to be, to that word of God.
Attitudes are important and so it’s not just an ordinary book. It is God speaking. And as we meditate on it so that it becomes engrafted into our heart, it becomes life and power in us.
The written word becomes the living word on the inside of us; it literally has the power to transform us into another person, and not just another person, but a son of God, with the same D.N.A.
When the word of God is engrafted into our heart, so that we become the word of God, then when we speak the word of God, it has the same authority and power as if God has spoken it himself.
The reason our words have no authority is because we have not become the word, and this is a process.
The word has to be written on our heart, or get into our spirit, then the word has to be abiding in us, and then we can ask what we will, we can speak the word of God and because we have become love, the creation, the natural realm will be formed by the words we speak.
