We are not dealing with philosophy, or metaphysics. We are dealing with realities.
It is not something that human reason has worked out through observation or physical sensations; we are dealing with the basic laws of man’s being, the great spiritual laws that govern the unseen forces of life.
There are several great forces that emanate from the newborn spirit.
They are to the spirit realm what silver, copper, gold, and other metals are to the mechanical realm.
The fruit of your spirit-Faith
The first force of our spirit is faith.
Faith is not the product of reason. It is the babe that is born in the human spirit.
God is a faith, Spirit. He brought the universe into being by faith. He created atoms, molecules, metals, gases, oils, and all that goes into making up the physical world by faith.
By faith, He brought the stars, sun, and moon into being, as an artist brings a colorful landscape to life upon a plain canvas.
He is a faith God. He works by faith. As newborn men and women, we are to co-labor and live by faith.
Jesus said, “if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matthew 17:20).
We know that the sea, the wind, the fish, and the laws of nature obeyed the voice of the Son of God by faith.
We know that physical reason did not govern Jesus, but His Spirit, which is above human reason, ruled, for Jesus did the most unreasonable things.
He stood by the tomb of the rotting body of Lazarus and said to that body, “Lazarus, come forth” (John 11:43), and the spirit of Lazarus came from paradise and entered that physical body, which was renewed, made perfectly normal and healthy, by faith.
It was the voice of faith. Words filled with faith that dominated the laws of death and subdued the forces that have ruled humans since the fall of man.
It was the same voice that spoke to the water, and it became wine. (John 2:7–10.) It was the same voice that said to the sea, “Peace, be still” (Mark 4:39).
When one realizes the source of faith, then they will be able to develop it.
When one learns what produces faith, the kind of food and activities that are necessary to develop it, that person has arrived.
Faith is a product of your spirit, just as wisdom is a product of your spirit; faith is developed and wisdom is enriched by meditation on the Word of God.
The word of God comes to the newborn spirit and then flows into our reasoning faculties.
The human’s spirit is governed by God’s Spirit, enabling them to bring God’s word to the person’s consciousness through this revelation.
By the same demonstration, faith is developed in the human spirit by the Word of God. It comes by acting on the Word.
That is your exercise. Every time you act upon the Word, faith becomes stronger.
You could lie in bed until your limbs lose their ability to bear the rest of your body. So it is with faith; it must be continually exercised to develop it.
Your spirit’s Righteousness
Another fruit of our spirit is righteousness that must be appropriated into our daily life, it is walking in the light the Holy Spirit reveals to us. It is vital righteousness, not our legal righteousness enabling us to stand before the Father, perfect “in Christ”.
A person remains a prisoner of sin consciousness until the fact of legal righteousness becomes a living reality in their spirit.
There can be no development of faith if sin consciousness dominates the human spirit.
We will not be able to exercise God’s wisdom in our daily walk if sin consciousness dominates our mind.
It is an unfortunate fact that the church, instead of destroying sin consciousness with the truth, has developed sin consciousness by preaching sin.
If they had preached the remedy of sin consciousness, if they had made clear the fact that when a person received eternal life, that eternal life was the nature of God, which is righteous, the person would then begin to depend upon that new kind of righteousness that has been imparted to their spirit.
They would say, “If I am a new creation, created in Christ Jesus, I must be a righteous creation. If I am a new person, I am free from the bondage of the old man. What YHVH says about the righteousness of the new creation is true. My spirit is righteous. and if it is righteous, then I can stand in the Father’s presence without fear of judgment or condemnation.
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit” (Romans 8:1).
That very fact solves the whole problem of our enjoying the riches of the fullness of our redemptive rights in Christ.
I am not afraid to act because I know that all that Christ created, He created for me.
His entire substitutionary work, from the time He was made sin until He sat down at the right hand of the Father, was all for me.
He did nothing for Himself, he did it for us.
If the new creation is a result of the work that Christ created, the new creation must be satisfactory to the Father.
If God is able, on the grounds of the substitutionary work of Christ, to impart to a person His nature, “His very substance and being”, and do it on legal grounds, then that person, who has received the substance and nature of God, can stand in God’s presence just as though sin had never existed.
We need to see the vast possibilities of this newborn spirit. It enters a limitless life, the only thing that can stop or block is it our soul and body.
Becoming more conscious of our spirit than our soul and body is the key to living and walking in the spirit.
The human mind and body begin to lose their place of dominance in our consciousness, and the spirit comes to the front of our consciousness and begins to take over the rest of our being.
Our spirit which has been held a prisoner; now it is set free.
Our spirits blind eyes and ears are at last opened. Its paralyzed hands and feet are at last filled with life. Its voice now becomes the voice of God. God has penetrated and filled our whole being. We are entering into the fullness of the Spirit.
Just as soon as you realize the reality of your righteousness in Christ, you are emancipated, for righteousness is the great emancipator.
Righteousness comes from your redemption in Christ. Satan has no dominion over the person who knows they are the righteousness of God in Christ and begins to walk in the light of it.
This is how we begin to enter our function of kings and priests upon the earth.
How masterful this makes Christianity!
There can be no agreement between your spirit and you’re the functions of your soul until you recognize the reality of your spirit’s redemption, your spirit’s righteousness, and your spirit’s union with God.
The fruit of your spirit-wisdom
It does not make any difference how much knowledge one has if he does not know how to use it.
There is not enough knowledge given in a Bible institute or theological seminary to make any minister a true success because their theology is not full of the wisdom of God.
It is a self-evident fact, that most of them are failures. Their followers are not instructed in righteousness. They are continually seeking to be made holy and to have faith.
1Corinthians 1:30 tells us that Jesus was “made unto us wisdom.”
Wisdom is the ability to use knowledge so that it will be a blessing to the hearer.
Colossians 1:9 gives us a sample of Paul’s prayers, “that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.”
That is a remarkable statement. No bible school or bible college can give you that kind of wisdom.
Paul did not say We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ that you decided to go to a bible school. (Colossians 1:3)
He said we do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. (Colossians 1:9)
There are but two sources of wisdom: God or Satan.
Of Satan, James tells us, “This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic” (James 3:15).
The other wisdom, God’s wisdom, comes down from above and has all the characteristics of the life of Jesus.
This wisdom belongs to every child of God.
In speaking of it, James said, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God” (James 1:5).
He is speaking of the babes in Christ.
This wisdom is available for every crisis of life, just as His strength, His grace, and His love are available.
This wisdom really grows out of love. It is love at work in your daily life. I look upon wisdom as the rarest gift that love brought with redemption.
The fruit of our spirit is love
Christianity is love in our daily interaction with people. It is our acting as Jesus would in our place.
“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God” for God is love. (1 John 4:7–8)
Jesus brought a new kind of love. He demonstrated it in His daily walk.
If He had control of us, love would dominate in all that we said and did. It would be the Father taking us over, living His own life through us.
The Holy Spirit’s real ministry is building the Father’s nature into our spirit, so that it will flow into our soul and transform it.
If we were doers of love, we could never be failures. We would never injure anyone knowingly. It would eliminate selfishness from our conduct. It would make us Jesus-like in our thinking, planning, and doing.
There are no broken homes where love rules. There are no broken hearts and wrecked lives.
This new kind of love brings Jesus on the scene, making Christ one with us in all that we are and all that we do.
I have mentioned four of the fruit of our newborn spirit: faith, righteousness, wisdom, and love, they are our legally, but we vitally have to appropriate them and develop them in our daily life on earth it is our primary destiny.
There are many other aspects of the fruit of the spirit, but I am convinced that they grow out of love, if says fruit (singular) not fruits (plural).
They are a part of the Father’s love nature imparted to us in the new creation.
Let love have its perfect work in your life. Measure all your desires, plans and ambitions with this yardstick of love. live your life with the love nature of God dominating it, in our union with Deity.
It is awe-inspiring to know that the new creation is of the same class of being as God, and that we may become a partaker of His divine nature in our daily life. We have become the children of the Creator of the universe by the new birth of our spirit.
The Father’s nature, imparted to a us, brings us into vital union with Deity.
Man is three parts, spirit, soul, and physical body, with the hope of its glorification. Just like God is a trinity.
God calls this body of ours His temple. Our spirit is now His holy of holies on earth, our soul the inner court, and our body the outer court.
We have never focused on the fact that a man becomes a partaker of the divine nature through the new birth of spirit and how to develop that spirit. The church believes that our spirit is already perfect, which is a major deception which keeps the body of Christ from coming into spiritual maturity.
It is true that our spirit is legally perfect through the finished work of Christ, but every divine provision of Jesus Christ must be appropriated, practiced and developed in our earthly walk with the Lord so that it becomes a vital experience in our life here on earth.
There has been no serious attempt to cultivate our spirit.
Most ministries do not know how to minister to a person’s spirit, their ministry is to the mind of man, which the person will soon forget what they have heard. Because ministries do not have train believes how to walk that out in life, just a bunch of doctrines that never transform a believers life.
But when we minister the Spirit to a person’s spirit it hit them like a ton of bricks, their life will never be the same, that word which is Spirit becomes a part of their spirit. And then that life of God in their spirit, will flow into their mind and transform it.
We make an impact in the world people either love us or hate us, there is no in-between. They will think we are preaching heresy, or they will be eternally grateful because we shifted their destiny.
We are to impart our identity “who we are in Christ”, to the baby Christians to transform their perception of themselves. Then their behavior will come into line with their true identity.
Most Christians have no idea who they are, and the destiny of their life which was written before time existed. Most Christians cannot see what the Father is doing or hear what the Father is saying like Jesus did, no wonder the church is such a mess.
This is the development of our spirit, so that our spirit can see in the Spirit, and hear the voice of YHVH. So that we can keep our spirits built up, and strong in the Lord and the power of His might.
The problem with Christians is that they think they know something, they do not yet know how to think, we have to learn how to be continually filled with the Spirit and then God’s thoughts will be spontaneously flowing into or minds, revelation will flow like a river, I do not have the time to write all that God is revealing to me, let alone study it thoroughly out, so that I have all the scriptures to back it up.
But today in the church we still have the blind leading the blind, no wonder planet earth is still in a mess. But God is restoring our first dominion. I will begin teaching on the nine covenants God has made in the Bible as soon as possible, I already have them on my website, but I have to edit them, because God is a covenant keeping God, it will help you understand the way God has dealt with mankind throughout history, and help get your theology worked out.
We know that the part of mankind that is generated and receives the nature of God is their spirit. You remember that Jesus said, “I am the vine, ye are the branches” (John 15:5).
That statement goes with Ephesians 2:10: “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus.” Christ literally grows in our spirit, until our soul is transformed and our body is glorified so that we become part of the manchild company in the earth, the first fruits of the body of Christ in the earth, Paul did not even attain this in his earth walk, but has passed the baton to some of us to continue his work, because he will not come into perfection before us.
That is why all of heaven is focused on what is happening on the earth through the process of vital redemption.
Their spirits have been made perfect (the vital becoming the legal) but they still have spirit bodies, and not the resurrection out of the dead physical bodies. Which enables us to live on the earth in a physical body and in heaven with a glorified body. After Jesus’ resurrection he walked on the earth for forty days in a physical body, which did not have blood (Acts 1:3). His body is in the heavenly tabernacle, and his blood is now white as an eternal memorial (Preservative of memory.
Ye are of God, little children. (1 John 4:4)
Beloved, now are we children of God. (1 John 3:2)
These Scriptures prove that seed or sperm of God was conceived in our spirit, born of God.
God imparts to us His own nature. I believe that this is the genius of Christianity.
You see, when one is born again, it does not mean that his mind is changed. His reasoning faculties may be governed by the same forces as before.
You understand that all the knowledge that the brain receives has come through the five physical senses before we were born again.
If a person is governed by their physical senses, their spirit is held captive.
The new creation should be ruled by their spiritual senses, making it possible for them to have fellowship with the Father.
Their newborn spirit should rule their reasoning faculties.
Here are some facts: it is our spirit that is redeemed; the redemption of our bodies comes when our soul is transformed; Satan’s dominion over the spirit of the new creation was broken; the person has been freed from Satan’s bondage; and the senses are to be dominated by the newborn spirit now.
When the physical senses are brought into subjection, it means that the body is brought into subjection.
The term flesh, as used in Paul’s epistles, should almost invariably be translated as the physical senses.
The best definition of the flesh is that union of soul and body that acts independently of God. Because the flesh also talks about our human abilities that must be sanctified, to reach their God given purpose.
If our physical senses are brought under subjection to our spirit, it would clear up much that we have failed to understand.
The combat mentioned in Galatians 5:16 would be a combat between the newborn spirit and the flesh.
Paul says, “Walk in the Spirit, and you will never fulfil the lust of the flesh.”(in the Greek.)
You see, the newborn spirit and the pleasure of gratifying the physical senses are constantly warring, until they are divided by the Holy Spirit, so that we are aware of the difference, between our spirit and our soul and then they can be integrated so that we become a whole person.
“But if ye be led of the Spirit”—referring not to the Holy Spirit, but the newborn spirit— “ye are not under the law” (Galatians 5:18).
There are various levels of walking in the spirit, the highest is actually being in the Spirit like John was in the book of Revelation.
The people under the law were led entirely by their physical senses.
Only the prophet’s, priests and kings, and a few others had the Holy Spirit come upon them where they were led by the Spirit.
But the Holy Spirit did not make his home in them, only came upon them, this is why David cried out please do not take your Holy Spirit from me, he repented with his whole heart, after he committed adultery and murder, but he still reaped what he sowed.
It is only when we reach a certain level in the Spirit, that the law of sowing and reaping can be reversed. The Holy Spirit speaks to me, so I am aware of certain things, but then he confirms it in the written word, which takes a lot of time, to research, and that is how I learn, but I can only study on the subjects that the Holy Spirit is leading me too, there is a holy restraint upon me.
Just like when the apostles wrote the four gospels, only John was permitted to reveal certain mysteries. They were very spiritually mature when they wrote the gospels, and could have shared all the things going on behind the scene of just the historical record of Jesus’s walk on earth.
First, we must be established in the Pauline epistles, to understand the legal and vital aspects of our redemption.
In the New Testament 13 letters are attributed to St. Paul as follows: Romans, 1 & 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 & 2 Thessalonians, 1 & 2 Timothy, Titus and Philemon.
Then we can study the book of Hebrews who I believe was written by Barnabas. Then we can focus on the Johannine Epistles, which the Holy Spirit is emphasizing today. I wouldn’t even attempt to read the book of revelation, but it you do you must remember that it is a revelation of Jesus Christ and the body of Christ in a symbolic way. It was originally written to the seven churches that existed on the earth at that time describing the end of the old covenant system.
I still have some messages on it that I have written in the past, that I will have to correct, but it is my bible school website, I didn’t write it for the public, but it is public, but I don’t promote it, but use some messages on it to share, plus I put up messages from other ministries, which are probably contrary to what I believe but I put their names and a way to contact them, but the first posts show up on the bottom, not the top.
In the new creation, the spirit is made righteous; it finds a new freedom in the presence of God and the Word.
The Word no longer condemns, but it convicts but also comforts. The Holy Spirit no longer convicts us, our own spirit does, but the Holy Spirit will search our hearts to reveal the deep thing contrary to God in them, if we learn how to allow him to. This can save us a lot of time in our spiritual growth, than seeing how we messed up in our daily life in retrospective revelation.
The Holy Spirit leads the newborn spirit into the realities of our redemption in Christ.
Our spirit now finds joy in the Word, and it finds joy in fellowship with the Holy Spirit and the Father.
It begins to feed on the Word. Before it was born again, it could not do this. The Word becomes spiritual milk for the new creation.
Our spirit are the branches that bear fruit.
Now we come to one of the most remarkable features of the new creation’s life, the fruit-bearing of our spirit.
The fruit we are to bear are the fruit of the vine.
John 15:5: “I am the vine, you are the branches.”
We are the fruit-bearing part of the vine. Jesus does not bear fruit. The Holy Spirit does not bear fruit. The branches, enabled by the Holy Spirit, bear the fruit.
Galatians 5:22: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love.”
I always thought that meant the fruit of the Holy Spirit and the translators evidently thought the same thing, but that is not true.
The word spirit should not have been capitalized, for it is the newborn spirit that is the fruit-bearer. It is the branch of the vine that bears the fruit.
Romans 5:5 tells us the nature of this fruit: “The love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us”
This means that the love of God comes with the new birth of the human spirit. The first fruit of the newborn spirit is love.
The new word that Jesus used is agape. The word was never used in Greek literature before Jesus used it.
Some of the words I use are not found in the English language, the Holy Spirit gives me a word, and I will define the meaning, but when you look it up in the dictionary it is not there.
Because there are two kinds of knowledge. Physical sense knowledge and revelation knowledge.
I mainly use the Noah Webster original dictionary written in 1828 because He was born again and has the greatest number of biblical definitions, ever written and he gives scripture verses as references. I will use moder dictionaries sometimes.
In 1 John 4:8 God is called agape: “God is love.”
Now the newborn spirit is bearing the fruit of love.
“We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren” (1 John 3:14).
“Let us not love in word…but in deed and in truth” (1 John 3:18).
The law of the new covenant, which takes the place of the old covenant and its law, is this: “A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love [agape] one another; as I have loved you” (John 13:34).
The law of the first covenant was summed up by Jesus: a man should love God with all his heart and his neighbor as himself. (Matthew 22:37–39.)
Natural man could not love God. He might love some idea he had of God, as some of our modern preachers do today.
The natural man cannot love or know God.
He was also to love his neighbor as himself. This too was an impossibility.
The new covenant law says we are to love even as Jesus loved us.
Jesus loved his neighbor enough to suffer on the cross for them.
I am to love my neighbor the same way. Which is impossible. Remember we cannot live the Christian life, Christ has to live it through us, otherwise we are always making resolutions like a new year’s resolution, they may work for a while but usually fail unless you have naturally a really strong will power. But we are talking about a supernatural lifestyle.
Jesus loved the world enough to go to the cross for it.
Paul said, “For my grief is so intense that I wish that I would be accursed, cut off from the Messiah, if it would mean that you, my people, would come to faith in him.” (Romans 9:3).
In other words, he said, “I love my brethren enough to not be born again, if I could only lead them into the joy of this union with Christ.”
You see, Paul had received this new kind of love, and it had taken possession of him. His heart was captured by it.
This revelation of the Father’s nature being imparted to man is what redemption is all about.
This new kind of love is the solution to every problem.
You understand that there was no love before Jesus came. Women were bought and sold among all groups of people. A woman had no standing until Jesus gave her one. Up until 1840, men questioned whether or not a woman should have an education.
Slavery could not be abolished until love gained the supremacy in a man’s heart.
The great forces in the world today are spiritual. They are greater than the atom bomb or the hydrogen bomb. They are greater than any of man’s organizations.
These two forces are the new kind of love and the old kind of selfishness.
The labor and capital problems can only be settled by the law of the new covenant.
This new law of love is the nature of God in practice. It is eternal life dominating the reasoning faculties.
Selfishness has arisen to its supreme heights in both the economic and political worlds.
The church has lost its dominion. No one cares much about its voice anymore.
Our broken homes proclaim aloud that selfishness is the god of the divorce court.
Many parents look upon children as a hindrance to their selfish happiness.
Few have ever recognized the lordship of Jesus. His lordship is the door into God’s family. That lordship really means the lordship of love. It is love gaining ascendancy over the newborn spirit.
When a person receives eternal life, love becomes supreme in their life.
The newborn spirit is a product of love. It is born of God, and God is love.
When it came forth, fresh from the womb of our spirit, it was filled with the love nature of the Father.
If one allowed love to dominate them, we would see Jesus’ men and women facing selfishness, hatred, and jealousy as Jesus faced it during His earth walk.
The fruit of your spirit-joy
Perhaps one of the richest fruits of the newborn spirit is joy. Joy is the good news to a selfish world.
Selfishness never gives joy; it gives only limited happiness. Happiness is the product of our surroundings. It is satisfying our physical senses.
The material things that bring happiness to a man or woman may be taken from them in a moment and they are left desolate.
Joy belongs to the spiritual realm just as happiness belongs to the physical sense realm.
Jesus said, “These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full” (John 15:11).
Jesus could have had but little happiness because the condition of the Jewish leaders, and the condition a fallen human race.
His joy was in the fact that he was going to start a whole new race of people who had never existed before.
He believed that He could meet the claims of justice and conquer Satan. He believed that He could make the new creation a possibility and restore this lost and broken humanity to the heart of the Father.
Thus, He could say, “that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.”
What would it mean if a person could have their joy made full?
It would be necessary that they would become like just like Jesus, so that they could say, “For I do always those things that please my father (John 8:29)
He could say, just like Jesus, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me, and to accomplish his work” (John 4:34).
Joy would be knowing the Father’s will and do it.
John 16:22 “Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.”
That was a promise and a prophecy.
The disciples had no joy. They could not have it until their spirits were born again. We are talking about the God kind of joy.
In verse 24, He says, “Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”
In these two verses we see the secret. He speaks of a fullness of joy.
The first was your joy no one will take from you.
This had not happened yet, because they were not yet born again. Then he says, “that your joy may be full.”
The fruit of the newborn spirit is joy; this happened after the disciples were born again.
He has given us the right to use His name. It is really the power of attorney.
We are to receive things from the Father; He is going to do things through us as sons because we are using the name of Jesus.
In verse 23, we read, “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.”
That day refers to the new birth of our spirit.
He forbids us to pray to Him, but we are to address our prayers to the Father in His name, then our joy will be made full. How? By the answers that the Father gives us.
This has transformed my pray life, I know longer pray to Jesus, I use to say Jesus please do this and please do that.
Know I pray to my heavenly father in Jesus’s name, which means I am coming to him (in Christ) which means he already see’s me perfected. I realize I am a son of royalty to a heaven father, a perfect Father who love me more than I could possibly imagine.
And I know if I ask anything according to his will, he hears me, which means that it will come to pass.
Then Jesus said, “But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves.” (John 17:13)
This verse gives me great joy because now I become the savior of the world, I have delegated authority based upon the finished work of Christ, through the discernment of the Holy Spirit to forgive and remit people’s sins. (John 20:23)
Blasphemy- I hear that all the time and lose a lot of people because they think I am teaching heresy. And I am not going to try and explain myself- When I teach on that subject, I can give hundreds of scriptures. The bible interprets itself. All I will say the word forgiveness is better translated deliverance. Which is a part of salvation, it is a broad word, I have the power to set the captive free or turn them over to Satan for the destruction of their flesh that their spirit might be saved.
You would not believe the authority that has been delegated to us. If I share some of it now almost everyone who reads it would reject me. I can only share about half of what I believe on Face book. And the more I do the more people I lose. That is why I have a ministry or church page on face book and a website for my church so that I can teach the whole council of God. The early apostles never compromised what they believed. Paul could only share the milk with the babes; in Corinth he could not give them the meat. The Corinthians had a deeply ingrained religious background, though it was largely pagan rather than Christian or Jewish before Paul’s arrival. This is what the Bible refers to as strongholds.
You know the reason God created marriage was so that he could have a godly seed. If you train a child right they will never turn from it. The problem is that the parents do not know how to do it.
It took me 40 years to lean it, I wish I had the God kind of love for my wife and the knowledge I have now to train them but they were stolen from me when they were four and two, when my x-wife move out of state with them and I didn’t believe in divorce so I didn’t even contest her having full custody
How does this new love come to us?
In the new birth, he comes as Christ or the Living word born in our spirit.
Our spirit is like a womb, and we are born of the incorruptible seed of the word, which is Christ in us. Our spirit and the spirit of Christ are one spirit, but we must always be aware of our spirit which is joining ourselves to the Lordship of Jesus over our spirit, otherwise we are living in our soul and not in our spirit.
I still have this problem, most of the time my spirit is speaking, but then I lose my awareness of the Lord, and I am speaking from my soul, that is why we must practice the presence of the Lord all day long.
1 Corinthians 6:17 the one now joining himself to the Lord one spirit is- This is my interlinear bible.
Joining is in the present tense, so it is supposed to be continually happening, but in learning how to walk with God we tend to be in our spirit one moment and our soul the next, some people spirit doesn’t wake up until they come to church, the rest of the week they live in there soul. There are multitudes of soulish Christians in the church.
But if we go for days without the awareness of our spirit or the spirit of Christ, since our spirit is like a womb, other things can enter our spirit, which almost no Christian understands.
Things contrary to our spirit can get in our spirit. You see if we have resentment in our soul continually it can get in our spirit and Jesus cannot forgive us, if we do not forgive others, and the word forgiveness would be better translated deliverance, we become tormented by demons, that our spirit might be saved which means come back into intimate union with God.
It is like being turned over to the devil (the tormentors) for the destruction of our flesh that our spirit might be saved, and the word saved means wholeness, to have that sweat fellowship with the Lord.
It is hard to teach on these subjects, and one day I will go into detail so that it will be clearly understood, but every time I teach something controversial, people’s walls go up, and I lose them, but there are a lot of Christians that have unforgiveness in their spirits towards others.
If you have been born again you will meet them, when you hear a person say, I forgive them, but I will never forget what they did to me. That is a sign that they have unforgiveness not just in their soul but their spirit.
So, if you study under my ministry, I may say 100 things that will bless you and then one thing you will disagree with, don’t allow that to stop you from studying under me just put it on the shelf.
Jesus uses this term of our having a fullness of joy. This time, He is asking the Father that it might become a reality in us, and we know that His prayer was heard. ( John 20:24) and the disciples experienced it when they were born again.
We have a right to expect joy. It is something that the world cannot take from us.
Neither persecution nor torture could rob the disciples of their joy. Every martyr that we know anything about in the early church met death with a joy-filled heart.
Whom you have not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory. (1 Peter 1:8)
The new creation will experience this “joy unspeakable and full of glory.” That is joy beyond words.
For the joy of the LORD is your strength. (Nehemiah 8:10)
Isaiah 35:10 “And the ransomed of the LORD shall return and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.”
Psalm 16:11 “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”
When a believer is not joyful, it is either because of broken fellowship or a lack of knowledge of what he is “in Christ” and what Christ can become in him.
The baby does not know what he is to the Father and what the Father can be to him. He has never entered his inheritance in Christ.
It is vastly important that we know about our present tense inheritance on earth, the vital aspect of our redemption.
It is this unspeakable joy that makes you triumphant over the trials of life and a victor over the trials that may come later.
The fruit of our spirit is peace.
This fruit of the new creation is most valuable.
Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (John 14:27).
John 16:33 says, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
You have access to “the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7).
Philippians 4:6 “In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”
1 Peter 5:7 says, “casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”
Where there is anxiety, there is no peace, and where there is no peace, there is no rest. Now we are to enter into His protective care; it is the realm of His rest. This belongs to every believer.
When one fails to have peace, quietness, and rest of spirit, he has either broken fellowship with the Father, or he does not enjoy the riches of his relationship with Him.
He has not taken advantage of the Holy Spirit’s ministry. That ministry is to build the Word into your spirit consciousness until you lose all sin consciousness.
He will build into you a Father consciousness and a child consciousness. You will become aware of His protective care and love.
“Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them” (Psalm 119:165).
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. (Isaiah 26:3)
The government of God is a government of rest, when we allow Christ to live through us, we rest, we appropriate the peace of God until it is constantly flows into us like a river. We know longer try to live the Christian life on a human level, which eliminates he struggle, the striving and ultimate failure, because the first lesson we must learn is our personal powerless, we surrender and we learn to allow Jesus to become to us whatever we need, his nature or his ability.
The fruit of our spirit is Long-Suffering
You will never be free from selfish men and women; they are the burdens that you must bear.
We must see them perfect in Christ and minister to their spirit to build it up, because they do not know how to do it themselves, just like in the natural a physical baby is helpless so are we in learning how to walk with God.
When we are born again, we experience the nature of God in our spirit, but we do not know how to live in it and walk in it.
Babys are always crying for their needs to be met. They want, they demand, and they will fight to gratify their physical senses and needs.
The long-suffering ones must bear with them. We must suffer for a long time with the babes.
This is love’s ministry: suffering with the babes in Christ.
Paul tells us of them:
“And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men? (1 Corinthians 3:1–3)
The deeply spiritual men and women must bear the burdens of these babes.
“For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food”. (Hebrews 5:12)
Notice the phrase “For though by this time you ought to be teachers.”
They should be grown up in the Word and helping others, but they are still babes.
You who are strong must bear the infirmities of the weak. You must take Jesus’ place.
They will be selfish. They will criticize you. They may lie about you. They are often the gossip’s of the church. They see evil instead of good.
Their ears and eyes are open to physical sense knowledge.
When we are born again, we are able to see and enter the kingdom which is in a different dimension, but these babes have not been taught to see and enter into this realm.
But if you have grown to the full stature of a man or woman in Christ you must bear with them and be patient and kind.
