We Are Cared for in Christ

We have come into all these immeasurable riches of grace through believing on Jesus and confessing His lordship over us.

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. (Psalm 23:1–3)

Jesus is your Lord; you shall not need.

He is your caretaker, your own Lord who loves you deeply.

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19).

The church of Philippians was located in the Roman province of Macedonia, (northern Greece). Despite being in an impoverished region ravaged by war and heavily taxed by Rome, the Philippian believers were known for their extreme poverty, yet they gave generously to support the Apostle Paul and the church in Jerusalem.

My God shall supply all of your needs. This means every need—body, soul, and spirit.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. (Ephesians 1:3)

He has blessed you with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
All is yours. All has been given you.
Just thank Him for what you need.

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 NIV)

If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. (John 14:23)

Jesus and the Father will come and live with you, make your home theirs.

Therefore, do not worry, saying, “What shall we eat?” or “What shall we drink?” or “What shall we wear?” For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (Matthew 6:31–33)

Your Heavenly Father knows all of your needs and He will give them to you when you seek first his kingdom and his righteousness. Therefore, do not be anxious.

If you can learn to put Him first, to trust His Word absolutely, there will come into your heart a new sense of protection and care.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (physical sense knowledge; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5–6)

The way to have His care and protection is on this road called trust.

No other way makes a petition to Him which he hears.

Your reasoning and arguments only lead to confusion.

Rest quietly in His love. Trust Him utterly in everything, and you will know what it means when He says, “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You” (Isaiah 26:3).

Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive that your joy may be full. (John 16:24)

Here you have the privilege of joining forces with Him and carrying out His will on the earth.

You can really be a manifest male or female son in your daily life.
