Deuteronomy 29: 29 says, the secret things belong to the Lord our God.
But those things which have been revealed or released belong to the New Creation.
When you’re born again your new spirit receives the nature of the Lord Jesus Christ in seed form, so you have all that Jesus is in nature.
But his seed must grow, we grow up into that likeness as we yield to the Lord and that nature becomes our nature, our responses.
His nature becomes your nature; you become like Him in His image and His likeness. But that alone is not enough “to have the nature” you also need the power or the ability of God which comes to us through the new creation being clothed in the Holy Spirit, the baptism of the Holy Spirit. That’s an internal thing.
But there is also an external anointing of the Holy Spirit. The internal anointing, the baptism of the Holy Spirit is free. It’s by the grace of God.
If you want an external clothing of power through the anointing, there is a cost to that.
The question is, can you be trusted with that clothing of power? Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. He is the patterned son, what he experienced we will also experience, maybe not in same degree, but in an identical experience, if we learn how to walk with God in the earth as his representative.
The Father had to put Jesus through a series of tests to make sure that he could be trusted with the clothing of the power of God.
And so, in the wilderness, Jesus qualified. And the basis of that wilderness testing was that The Father had to be sure that Jesus would not walk independent of the Father in the use of power.
When God can trust us with that kind of power, then He can clothe us with power.
John G Lake had that kind of external anointing, but he began to play around with-it doing experiments with it and such and he lost it, because He was not being led by the Spirit to do that. I am not sure if he recovered it?
When the Lord says, “Romans 11: 29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance”. This is talking about the gifts and callings given to the Body of Christ as a whole. It is not talking about an individual. I have seen ministries with a gift ministry to the body of Christ lose it, but then God raised up another gift ministry to replace it. (Ephesians 4:11)
Working with the spirit realm. We tend not to think about the spirit realm and subconsciously believe that the spirit realm is not as real as the natural realm.
We think that consciously or unconsciously because we live most of our time in the natural realm without spiritual awareness. And so, in our thinking and in our consciousness and our awareness we tend to think that the world which you can touch with your hands and see with your physical eyes and the world around you is more real than the spirit world.
But really the opposite is true. The Bible says that God is immortal, invisible. That’s true to the natural eyes, but He is not invisible to the eyes of our spirit.
The Bible tells us that we live by faith and not by sight. It’s not talking about spiritual sight; it’s talking about what we see with our physical eyes.
But in the realm of the spirit, we must develop our spiritual sight. We’re told that Jesus wants to be our friend. Okay, how do you become friends with an invisible spirit?
Jesus said, hereafter I call you no longer servants, but I call you friends. (John 15:15). Becoming friends with an invisible spirit. You can only do that with your spirit. You can only know Him after the spirit, after your newborn spirit.
Firstly, we don’t walk by natural sight. The Bible talks about walking in the spirit but we walk with the eyes of our spirit or heart.
Ephesians 1: 18 the eyes of your imagination being enlightened; that you may know what the hope of His calling is, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.
Paul prayed that the eyes of your imagination (the screen of our minds) would be enlightened, he wasn’t talking about our physical sight.
He was talking about the eyes of our spirit, or the eyes of our imagination which is a function of our soul as the life of God flows from our spirit into our imagination so that we can see pictures, dreams. Or enter the spirit realm in meditation, where we lower our brain waves, so that we can see in our mind, like we are dreaming but still awake, where we could open our eyes if we chose to.
2 Corinthians 3: 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
We behold the glory of God with an unveiled face which means our spirit is open to the realm of the spirit, beholding as in mirror the glory of the Lord, it’s a spiritual thing it’s not just imagination because we are changed when we do that into the same image even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
2 Corinthians 4: 18 while we do not LOOK AT the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
The word Eternal aiōnios is plural from aiōn which means age enduring. So, I would translate it from age to age, but things change according to the age we are in.
This word is different from the word forever in Hebrews 10: 14 For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
The word forever diēnekēs is used only four times in the New Testament. (Heb 7:3; 10:1; 10:12; 10:14) It would be correctly translated in Heb 10:14 as eternity which is like a circle which has no end or beginning.
THIS IS SO IMPORTANT for you to realize because every other word translated as eternal or forever means age enduring. There are many ages recorded in the bible and may ages yet to come.
I get persecuted for saying this, but we are not in the last days, that age is past. We are in the new day or the kingdom age.
This does not mean that the book of revelation does not apply to us today, but it was first written to the people living in the generation of Jesus when he was in his earthly ministry and almost all of it was fulfilled in their generation. It now must be interpreted for the age we are living in.
The Book of Revelation is a revelation of Jesus Christ and his many member body, so it is all symbolic of a remnant (a select few) of the Body of Christ and I have never heard anyone translate it correctly. But I will teach it in the future to those who study under my internet church.
How do you look at things which are not seen with your physical eyes?
With the eyes of your heart (soul) or the eyes of your spirit. For the things which are physically seen are temporal, that’s what we see with our physical eyes around us, but the things which are not seen, they are what? Age enduring. We are told to look unto Jesus.
Hebrews 12: 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
We are told to behold Him. When Adam sinned, he lost his ability to see in the spirit realm, it may not have been overnight, but there was a decline when man no longer began to live from his spirit but began to live from his soul and his physical senses.
And when man began to do that, it blocked out his spirits contact with the realm of his spirit.
Adam sinned; he lost his ability to see in the spirit realm. When you are born again, through the new birth of your spirit you can see in the spirit, but you must develop your spiritual eyesight.
John 3: 3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Now, most Christians always put scriptures like this into the fact that when we die, we go to heaven.
But that is not really the context. Nicodemus was a ruler of the Jews, so he knew what it meant to have authority.
And He saw or heard about Jesus doing these signs and wonders, so he knew he was a teacher sent from God. And Jesus only did these wonders because he saw his Father in heaven doing them. And that is why he told Nicodemus that he had to be born again. It had nothing to do about dying and going to heaven.
We need to understand that going to heaven and inheriting the kingdom are two different things. To inherit the kingdom, is to inherit a kingdom, like in England today “the United Kingdom,” you must be a son or daughter of royalty. It is to be a king under Jesus in the government of the kingdom of God.
When you are born again, you have the ability, to see the kingdom realm of the spirit, the kingdom of God. You can see angels, the cloud of witnesses, heaven, Jesus and the Father.
John 18: 36 Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, my servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.”
His kingdom, which is spiritual is in the realm of the spirit, as close as the air we breathe and expands throughout the whole universe. The spirit realm is like a parallel universe that is unseen with the natural eye.
There are angles around you right now, but you cannot see them with the natural realm unless they want you to, but we start out perceiving them, which is another word in the Greek for see.
See eidō has exclusively the meaning of to see, the other that of to know or perceive.
Jesus answered and said my kingdom is not of this world but he said when you’re born again you can see the kingdom, but he said my kingdom is not of this realm, it’s in the invisible world, it is in the realm of spirit. The whole realm of the Spirit of God incorporated within the kingdom of God.
And he said if you are born again, you can see into that realm. You don’t have to be super saints. You just must be born again. And unless you’re born again, you can’t see into the kingdom of God realm. You might see into the other side of the spirit realm, Satan’s side, but you cannot see the kingdom side, the kingdom of God.
You must learn to move in the spirit, from your spirit. Learn to move in that realm, learn to see in that realm, learn to hear in that realm, learn to feel in that realm, the kingdom of God realm.
It’s something which we must learn. Jesus and The Father, both have form and substance.
The Lord has feet.
Nahum 1: 3 The Lord has His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, And the clouds are the dust of His feet.
He has hands
Exodus 15: 17 You will bring them in and plant them In the mountain of Your inheritance, In the place, O Lord, which You have made For Your own dwelling, The sanctuary, O Lord, which Your hands have established.
The Bible tells us that God made everything that we see around us out of Himself.
Romans 11: 36 For out of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom glory forever. Amen.
He made everything out of Himself. From out of Him, everything exists. The Universe is contained within himself and is still expanding.
YHWH says He made everything speaking words “Yeshua” and Holy Spirit created it.
of His own substance when God spoke and created this world it came God is a spirit and that form of spirit is a much superior substance than the physical substance the world was made from.
Spirit substance is mostly manifest in the form of light which is power. Scientists are now beginning to tell us that the basis of all matter is compressed light. Matter is anything that has mass and takes up space (volume). And they’re getting very, very close to the truth.
Light is a form of energy, it is a form of power and when you get in the presence of the Lord Jesus, he will emanate (To issue from a source; to flow from) depending on the spiritual level you are on.
This power and this glory can be so great that an angel came down from heaven in the book of Revelation and lit up the whole earth.
The Bible says God is light. His substance is light. His motivation is love. He doesn’t have these things. He is made of these things
Psalm 63: So, I have looked for You in the sanctuary.
David says, “I long to see your power and your glory” in your sanctuary. These two things go together “power and glory”.
Psalm 145: 11 They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom and talk of Your power.
When you get into the presence of God and we behold him something happens to you, because you’re in the presence of light, you’re in the presence of glory, and you’re in the presence of power.
That power, that presence, that energy emanating from the Lord begins to change you.
The more you behold Him in a consciousness of His presence, the more you begin to change.
Beholding Him, you are changed into the same likeness. He is light, He is glory, He is power.
This has tremendous ability to change you when you’re exposed to that light and glory and presence of God.
The spirit world is more real than the natural and it is superior in every way to the natural realm.
Angels are beings of light because they spend time in the presence of the Lord. When angels spend some time upon the earth their glory begins to diminish because their only source of glory and light is the presence of God.
The New Creation is a being of what? Light. Not only did he say that Jesus is the light of the world, but he also said what? You are the light of the world.
Your spirit is supposed to begin to shine. And it gets to the point when we’re exposed to the presence of God, we experience transfiguration.
Transfiguration or transformation comes from the inside out, not from the outside in.
It comes when your spirit is exposed to the glory and the presence of God to such a degree that it begins to emanate that glory, that life of God Himself.
The more time we spend in the presence of God, slowly transfiguration begins to take place.
The Bible says they looked to the Lord and they were lightened. And that’s the glory and the presence of the Lord.
And so how do we mortals live in and work with that realm of light and power?
How do we live in, walk in, work with God? The anointing of God simply is a form of light, that’s all. It’s light clothing. The anointing is the light of God upon us. It’s his power, it is his energy.
And, as in the natural, so it is in the spiritual.
White light breaks down into a prism. And It’ll come out as seven colors, the colors of the rainbow.
That’s what happens in the rainbow because light coming through a raindrop emanates that light. Coming through the prism, it breaks down into seven colors.
Around the throne of God there is the rainbow and the seven spirits of the Lord.
Isaiah in the Old Testament, most of you are familiar with it in Isaiah 11, lists seven anointings.
Isaiah 11:1 There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots. 2The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.
Each of those anointings are anointings of light, which have a color. And there is a seven-branch candlestick.
The breakdown of the anointing is simply a breakdown of light in different wavelengths in the spirit realm upon us, the anointing of the Spirit.
Now, you can only relate to and work with that realm by working out of your own newborn spirit. The natural man or woman cannot work with that because it’s in the spirit realm. It is the realm of God.
Your new creation spirit lives in that realm but is encased in a physical body and clothed with his soul.
But our spirit lives, exists in the realm of spirit. It is in the heavenly places in Christ but also in your body, it is dimensional.
You have a spirit inside of you which exists solely in the realm of spirit, the kingdom realm.
Now, you’re a new creation. You must learn to work with your spirit, your newborn spirit. You must learn how to enter God’s realm. To do that, you do it with your spirit.
1 Corinthians 2: 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
He cannot know them why? They are in the realm of spirit, and they can only be spiritually discerned.
The things of God can only be spiritually discerned, so the natural man cannot know those things, we can only know them from our newborn spirit.
Our spirit has a full set of senses. And those senses in your spirit are far superior to your natural senses in your physical body.
Your spirit senses are far more important, far more accurate, far more superior. And your spirit, has eyes. And when the Bible talks about the eyes of the heart, its talking about the eyes of your spirit.
And our spirit is like a generator, as we pray in tongues and worship the Lord, out of our spirit flows the light or life of God into our mind, our imagination, our emotions and our will.
Our spirit has eyes and ears and hands and feet, and perception and feeling. Our spirit is a person. God is a person and he is a spirit.
Our spirit has a full set of senses, separate from our natural physical senses.
And fellowship with Jesus then requires a fellowship and awareness of the kingdom of God realm.
John 4:24 says God is a spirit, and if we’re going to relate to Him, if we’re going to worship Him, we must worship Him in what? In spirit. Out of that recreated new man. We worship God in spirit.
Revelation 1:10 says, John said, “I was in the spirit on the Lord’s Day”. Then he began to see spiritually and hear. He said, “I saw and I heard”, but first he was in the spirit.
I was in the spirit on the Lord’s Day. He said, then I saw, “vision”, and I heard, “spirit hearing”.
The Bible tells us we are supposed to live in the Spirit, that we’re supposed to serve God with our spirit.
We walk in the spirit, with the spirit direction and insight in our spirit.
What does that mean? There’s a lot of definitions we can give for what it means to be in spirit.
It means to be working out of your spirit faculties with a conscious awareness of the kingdom realm, sensitive to your spirit.
When you join your spirit to the Lord it becomes one spirit. Your spirit is joined to the Holy Spirit.
When you become sensitive to your spirit, you become sensitive to the Lord because the two are joined.
Now, when you become sensitive to your inner man, sensitive to your spirit and begin to work out of your spirit, you begin to work with God because your spirit is joined to the Lord. It is the nature of the Lord. It means you’re in touch with the spirit realm. You’re in touch with the kingdom of God realm, which is an invisible kingdom.
That kingdom is not of this world. It’s in the world of spirit. In spirit, in touch with that world. Now, how do we do that?
How do we bridge the gap from the natural to the spiritual? Well, the Bible tells us how.
This is where all the religious people begin to manifest. The Bible clearly tells us how to get into the realm of God’s Spirit, the kingdom realm.
First, it says the pure in heart shall see God. Purity of heart. It’s very important because if our conscience is not clean it locks us out of that realm. If your conscience is not right, you cannot get into that realm because condemnation will hold you out.
Blessed are the pure in heart, they shall see God.
Proverbs 23: 7 For as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.
Now let’s just stop there, because we quote this a lot. And New Age quote’s these principles, the New Age movements, positive thinking groups, and secular groups use this kind of technique on understanding.
As you think in your heart, so you are in reality. The Hebrew tense is very clear. As you think, so you are. As you think, it becomes reality.
First, in the realm of the spirit, if you pursue this with that kind of thinking, it will then manifest itself in the natural world.
When you begin to think or imagine and focus, and the focus of your heart, and you begin to think, it becomes a reality, a reality in the realm of spirit.
If you continue that form of thinking, that line of thought, it becomes manifest in the physical realm.
There is a process in that. There’s a time lapse between what is formed in the spirit realm, and what is formed in the natural realm.
But if you hold that form of thinking, if you hold that focus, it will manifest itself in the physical realm. Because that is how we were made.
It’s one of the laws of God.
2 Corinthians 4: 18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen.
With an open face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord. How do we do that?
One of the things we must realize is that Jesus considered imagination as reality.
Let me say that again. Jesus considered imagination as reality.
Matthew 5: 28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
In the realm of the spirit imagination is considered as reality. Because imagination is the language of the realm of the spirit. And that realm is more real than this physical realm.
The first spiritual law is, what you focus upon, you connect with in the spirit realm.
What you focus upon, you will connect with. If you hold your focus on that, you will connect with that.
Alot of people have what a spirit of wrong focus. All they see is negative things. They never see what is right, they only see what is wrong. That’s a spirit.
It’s actually a spirit that drives that person. Sometimes it’s out of resentment and bitterness, disappointment, unresolved anger, many kinds of things and then we say what is in our heart.
We need to check out our conversation to see where our focus is.
If you focus upon the Lord Jesus Christ, you will connect. That’s what worship is about.
If you focus upon Jesus, you will make a connection with Him.
If your focus is upon the devil and demons and all of that, you will connect.
You know what the term “speak of the devil” and he turns up. Your focus is a spiritual law that connects you.
Colossians 3: 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
Set your affections on things above, not on things which are on the earth. Colossians 3 is in the context of being seated with Christ in the kingdom spirit realm. If you then be risen with Christ seek those things which are above where Christ sits on the right hand of God.
Set your affections on things which are above not on things which are on the earth-why?
Verse 3-Because you are dead now and your life is hidden with Christ in God and when Christ who is our life shall appear.
That word appears “phaneroō” means to manifest, to shine. It’s a Greek word which means to shine. Then shall you also begin to shine with Him in that glory.
Set your affections on things which are above, not on things which are on the earth. Set your mind.
The word set your mind is phroneō in the Greek and means to think, have a mindset, be minded. The activity represented by this word involves the will, affections, and conscience.
It’s a very, interesting Greek word. It is connected with the word affection, to set with affection.
It means to exercise the mind with feeling, with emotion. It also has the thought of to rein in, to fence in, or to focus.
So when Colossians here is talking about set your affections on things which are above, Paul is talking about the set of our mind or imagination, because you can’t think without imagining, set your imagination with a single focus, with the feeling of emotion, which is love, upon the Lord and the things of the kingdom of God.
Now if you do that, you will connect.
Emotion is very, very important because the strength of the emotion determines the speed of your connection and the force of the connection. It’s not a cold connection.
It’s a connection with a feeling of love and focus. People tell us that we only remember things that we really feel about. When we’re listening to something, if something gets a hold of us, not with just the mental side, but if we have feeling about it, if there is an emotion with that, we will remember it.
When our thoughts and emotions agree, it releases power. When there is an emotion with something that someone is talking to you about or you’re reading, you will remember it.
So, the coupling of feeling or emotion with the set of your heart is very, very powerful. Okay? So, these four verses (Colossians 3:1-4) are very, very important.
The context is verse one, seated with Christ in the spirit, in the heavenly places, in the kingdom of God realm.
Now that you’re there, it says, if you be then risen with Christ, seek those things which are above. That’s a seeking. It’s an attitude.
You want to find out, you want to get into that realm, you want to walk with the Lord, there’s a hunger.
This is very very important, seek means a hunger. Seek those things which are above where Christ is.
When saying above, we’re not talking geographically, we’re talking about in the realm of the Spirit.
Because so often we have this concept that heaven is so far away. Now I do believe that heaven is a literal place beyond this universe. But heaven also reaches down to here, it is in your spirit. The kingdom of God realm is in your spirit.
In eternity, heaven and earth does not exist, it does not exist in the eternal realm.
The heavens and the earth were created by YHWY.
Heaven can exist within your heart. And I know it’s a strange concept, but we need to understand that when it says, set your mind and affections on things above. We’re talking about the realm where God lives.
He exists everywhere including Hades, but the form of the trinity can be seen in heaven.
Set your mind and emotions on the things of the kingdom of God realm. When you practice this the realm of the spirit becomes more aware to you, and you will begin to discern angels around you, and if you really want to play your part in changing the world, the cloud of witnesses will visit you.
If you been risen with Christ, seek those things which are above where Christ is, and set your affections on things which are above, on that kingdom realm.
Exercise, set your affection.
Exercise, set your mind, your imagination with feeling.
Affection with feeling and strength, to set the mind with focus. With your affection, the word, it also includes with an affection of love or worship.
Now if you do that, it says in verse 4, when Christ will appear. When Christ, who is alive, shall appear, then you also shall be with Him in reality, in glory.
Now, so often we read these scriptures and say, “when” means the second coming, when he comes back, we’re going to be with him in glory.
It has that meaning. But the immediate meaning for you and I right now, today, is you can be and walk with him in glory with your newborn spirit. That’s what he’s talking about here.
If you will do this, He said, When Christ, who is your life, will appear to you, you will also be with Him in glory.
That’s what it’s saying, you will appear with Him in glory. Do you want to walk in glory in the realm of the spirit with Jesus?
Then you must learn to abide in that, you learn to live in that. It talks about abiding in Christ, abide in the spiritual awareness of Jesus and the kingdom realm, and the angel realm, and the cloud of witnesses, and everything that’s in the kingdom of God.
You learn to begin to develop your spiritual man, your spiritual senses, so that you can look and tune into that realm. You can abide in that realm. You can live in that realm. You can walk with God in that realm.
Because of your position in Jesus in the spirit realm, you can do these things.
Verse one, because of that position, set your focus with feeling, with love on the Lord and the kingdom of God. Exercise your spiritual faculties.
There was this guy who wrote a book. Some theologian who had a PhD. And he was trying to prove the point that if we imagine Jesus, it is an idol or it’s an icon and we’re not to have any graven image.
I don’t think anybody’s thought to tell them that you cannot think of Jesus without imagining him. Try it. You can’t do it.
Imagination and thought are connected. You know, you might have had a PhD, it’s permanent head damage.
It’s so ridiculous and Christians buy these books and read them. And by doing so they get locked out of the kingdom of God because they had believed a lie and they’re afraid of the spirit realm.
I remember when the book, The Seduction of Christianity came out, it should be burned. It was written by a guy who was not spirit-filled and hadn’t a clue about the things of the spirit. And it became a bestseller in evangelical fields around the world. And it keeps myriads out of the reality of the kingdom of God.
We must get out of this kind of new age complex people have got. I was listening to a video the other day a family member sent me (I am believing to be restored to my family) from this new age guy, and I could not listed to it, because your voice carries the spirit behind it. I could read it, there may be a little truth in it, but your voice carries the spirit that is speaking through you, and it was stealing my peace. Messed me up for a little bit.
When I talk about this, the spiritual pressure that comes upon me is enormous, I was being attacked with all kinds of problems today. The enemy does not want us to know this, because he is seated in heavenly places, but not in Christ and is still the god of this world until we displace him. But most all Christians do not know they have a throne in heaven that they can go to in the spirit realm and make decrees.
The realm of Satan does not want you to know how to connect and walk with the Lord. He’s kept the church ignorant for so long.
