Becoming a soldier in the army of God and entering spiritual warfare we face two battles.
1- “A civil war going on inside us,” our flesh desiring one thing and our spirit another. Yeilding to the lust of the flesh crosses out our spirit, so that we cannot do what our spirit wants.
Yielding our spirit to the Lordship of Jesus over it, strengthens our spirit through the infilling of the power of the Holy Spirit, giving us the power to say NO! And enables us to walk in the spirit, crossing out the desires of the flesh so that we are no longer even tempted, because of the spiritual level we are on.
2-Once we overcome the world, the flesh and the devil in our personal walk with God then we are ready for outward spiritual warfare.
The great falling away has already taken place, we are in the time of the restoration of the spirit and faith of the early church, but we are going to walk in a double portion of the anointing and power resting upon the early Apostolic company and Prophetic community.
Right now, the church is full of doctrines of devils, believing their lies and are in a state of total deception.
They do not have a walk with God, a walk in the Spirit, but they are living on the soul level.
The soul level speaks of our human nature not the divine nature. They are not led by the Spirit, but basically self.
They are not oracles of God, where Christ is speaking through them, but self is on the throne or the anti- Christ, and they teach and preach what they learned from man. “All the church leaders before them”, and just basically expound on the deceptive truths they learned from their forefathers. Basically, they have not learned how to hear the voice of God, so the Holy Spirit cannot lead them into all the truth.
Not everything they believe is a lie, but when I hear a false doctrine being taught, it is usually “a counterfeit religious spirit of the Holy Spirit”, It totally quenches and grieves my spirit, it will totally mess me up for a short time, because I am becoming more sensitive to the Holy Spirit.
But he is an awesome helper and so magnificent with walls of spiritual protection surrounding him, that he can still live inside the bodies of believers who preach doctrines of devils, and fall into the disgusting works of the flesh, gross immorality and so forth.
I cannot comprehend it, but he stuck with me through all my past life of sin as a believer and am grateful he never leaves us or forsakes us. Holy Spirit is like YHWY, he sees nothing wrong with us, but prophetically see’s us perfect in Christ, yet we still can grieve and quench him, but his longsuffering far surpasses mine, as far as the heaven is from the earth. But it takes me time to get so filled with the Holy Spirit that nothing bothers me. I still leak, get spiritually drained in dealing with believers still in the world as far as their walk with God is concerned and not yet believers in our present governmental structures, like doctors or the other governmental organizations I am involved with in my temporary disability situation.
2 Corinthians 10: 3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
War- strateuomai means to wage war, to be a soldier in the army of the Lord, to be a spiritual warrior.
We are involved with the battle of the ages, the battle of who will control planet earth?
When will the saints be given dominion over the earth? I am talking about the time we are living in; scripture has dual fulfillment.
It would take too must time to explain. In the Old Testament there was fulfillment of the scripture in the time they were living in and then a fulfillment when Jesus the Messiah appeared.
Then there was a fulfillment of the scriptures for the generation of Jesus and the early church, and now a fulfillment in the latter-day church.
Everything in the bible applies to us, but the Old Testament contains types and shadows of everything being fulfilled in Jesus Christ and then the body of Jesus Christ (the church).
The bible is not just a book, it is the Living Word of God, And the Holy Spirit will speak to us through every verse of Scripture and then confirm it with other scriptures. The bible basically interprets itself if you can hear the voice of the one who inspired it-The Holy Spirit, but hearing the voice of God is a quest, it takes time to hear his voice because there are so many voices in the world.
Daniel 7: 27 Then the kingdom and dominion, And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him.’
2 Corinthians 10: 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,
Pulling down “kathairesis” It is a noun from kathairéō- to cast down. Destruction of a fortress. Figuratively of destroying religious doctrines, knowledge, de-construction. The opposite of this word is oikodomḗ which means building, edifying.
This speaks of the doctrine of devils, in other ministries who are deceived. They are strong holds the enemy has in their lives and you cannot reason with these people, they are right and you are wrong.
It takes intense spiritual warfare and intercession to break this spirit of darkness that is blinding their minds. And you have to be willing to pay the price in the time required, to have a breakthrough, of a release, where you have accomplished your mandate of assignment.
The church currently is totally divided, that is why we have There are an estimated 45,000 to 49,000 Christian denominations globally. And a divided kingdom cannot stand, first we come into a unity of spirit, and then a unity of faith, where we all believe in the same way. This is why I teach a lot about our spirits. Because a lot of believers think their spirit is perfect, but only Christ in their spirit is perfect, and the Lord wants to perfect our spirit, so that we can come into a unity of the faith.
Strongholds ochyrōma to fortify “to strengthen, protect, or secure”, which is from échō, to hold fast. A stronghold, fortification, fortress. Used metaphorically of any doctrines of devils or arguments in which one trusts.
2 Corinthians 10: 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,
Casting down kathaireō from katá – down, and hairéō – to choose. To take down or displace; demonic princes, powers or rulers; to pull down, demonic reasonings; to destroy governments of nations that are contrary to the kingdom of God or religious leaders of influence.
Jesus has all authority on earth and the heavenly places, and he had delegate that to the body of Christ, we cast down any thought or imagination that is contrary to the mind of Christ in ourselves.
And then we cast down the religious spirits operating in the leaders of the Christ and then we start to displace the fallen angels over our cities, states, countries and nations, until every kingdom is brought down, and then can be build upon the principles or spiritual laws that govern the kingdom of God.
Arguments logismos noun from logízomai, to reckon. A reckoning, calculation, consideration, reflection, imagination, thought.
We cast down the thoughts that enter our minds that do not have the fruit of the Spirit in them. We cast down any imagination, dream that is contrary to the holiness of the Holy Spirit.
High thing hypsōma the root of the word is hypsos, “to exalt.” Something made high, elevated, a high place speaking of the place where idols are worshiped. Figuratively of a proud adversary enemy-the kingdom of darkness, a fortress built up proudly by the enemy. A spirit of pride in a believer. By implication a barrier (figurative).
It is used 1- of “a height,” as a mountain (authority), it is lifted up as a barrier to the Moving of the Spirit of God, it is an antagonistic exaltation of a doctrine of the devil.
We pull down any stronghold of the enemy where he is exalting himself as the god of this world, he has been stripped of all authority by Jesus Christ, and we the body of Christ enforce that authority in the heavenly realms in Christ and here on the earth.
Captivity aichmalōtizō means to make captive, bring into captivity. A prisoner.
We bring every thought that enters our mind and make it our prisoner, we break it’s power over our life, until all our thoughts are the mind of Christ.
2 Corinthians 10: 6 and being ready to avenge all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.
Fulfilled plēroōto fulfill, to complete, carry out to the full” (as well as to fill), is translated “perfect” in Rev. 3:2
When our obedience is complete, and we are perfected in love, YHWH will give us the Ministry of Judgment.
We see this typified in Elisha and the book of Revelation, we see it executed in the ministry of the Apostle Peter and Paul. The judgments of God will return in the earth from the house of God. YHWH will not execute judgement’s sovereignly but through a remnant of the body of Christ.
Revelation 6: 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”
