Would you like to know a way of joy and blessing that will just not stop? The difficulty that we have in serving the Lord. Is that we? Begin with human emotions, which cannot be sustained for a long period of time. Fortunately, God has so built the human being that there are certain special limits beyond which you cannot go. If you give a man so much pain, what happens to him? He cracks up. If you hit him too hard, but it what happens to him? That’s him out and he faints and little while. Instead of the pain being there, he doesn’t feel the thing, but he wakes up. So has he got a headache? So so pain cannot be sustained too long, but the human being becomes one capable of it now. But this then becomes both a blessing and a curse, because how many people have had blessings and joy and found that as they went along, suddenly they couldn’t maintain. And so they came up, and then they went down. They go up and then they come down after a little bit of that, they became discouraged with their walk. And they give. Up serving the Lord. Now one of the things that you have to realize is the things that are qualities of God. Attributes of God are transmittable. They can be infused within the individual. There are qualities that can be appropriated so that what is in God can be in you. Now we know love is is always listed first as the fruit of the spirit. Now the fruit of the spirit is love. Joy. Peace. All right, listen, we don’t want. Anymore than the first 3. Here the rest will work on tomorrow. Love, love and Joy and peace. These these things are very, very essential if you intend to go on with God. You have to have love in your heart if you don’t. If there’s hatred, there’s bitterness. If there’s wrong things in your spirit, you’ll find that you’ll worse out of this, right? Away is that. True. I’m gonna notice some some. Something gets ahold of. Your spirit something. Better than this or or something that is very long before the whole blessing is closed. While we’ve emphasized love, you know that joy is prophesied more in the book of Isaiah for the end time, the love is. Joy Everlasting Joy shall be upon their heads with joy. Shall they return to Zion all the the the joy that is that is mentioned over and over and over again. And I think this is essential. I think it’s so essential I’m going to read you some scriptures about it and try to describe to you. God’s joy. Which can be appropriated. You can believe for it, and I think it’s absolutely essential. And them I hate this is that the joy of the Lord is your strength. And at the time of keeping the Feast of Tabernacles, when they were ready to mourn, he said, you’re not to mourn. Not to mine. But you’re to. Rejoice, the joy of the Lord would be your strength, for the reason that sometimes I think the mourning of self condemnation does more to hurt you than anything else. How many notice that self condemnation gets to you and and the next thing unbelief comes in this way? About the Holy Spirit convicts you and you repent with faith and you look to God. It works a good thing, but if you get to the place where you’re just hung up, condemning yourself over and over again with some legalistic. Hang up. The next thing is that you are walking in unbelief. You don’t believe God loves you, don’t believe there’s any blessing. You’re just not ready for anything. And you young folks know that one of the things that hits young folks is this melancholy. This, this fancy, this discouragement. Why? It’s it’s almost a subconscious thing coming up to you because. OK, here you are. Young. You’re you’re facing a world that is challenging young people like nowhere you’ve ever seen. You’re facing problems that no generation has ever faced. And you face your own inexperience. And and then that’s just when you you have this wonderful parental health and then. Writing. Them that helps a lot, doesn’t it? And then they’re worrying their anxiety. They start putting. Their thumbs on them. And then you get all hung up, shook up and you become rebellious to cover up the feeling of inadequacy that that just swamps every young person, the despondency, the holiness, the discouragement is there. And if there ever was a time that you need joy to build you up, it’s now. You need the blessing. You need something that is sustaining you with. Strength. You don’t need to go on blindly excusing Sander. The things in your life that I’ve never seen a young person yet, but but they knew what was wrong with them. We’ve seen more young people saves than we’ve seen for years, never once trying to hammer them down. What sinners they were but just helping them to look up to Jesus and bringing the blessing of the Lord and. They would return. And seek the Lord and hell should be broken and things should be done. The thing that you must see is that this joy that comes from the Lord is not a human emotion that’s pumped up, but it’s a divine impartation and it can sustain you where everything else disappears. But in the book of Joel. The first chapter in verse 12 it. Says that joy is withered away. From the sons of men. And that’s the thing that’s taking place in the world today. Have you ever stopped to think that even the entertainment, the field today is filled with violence? You want to go to have. A nice relaxing evening. When you watch crying, you watch war. You watch birched. You you watch adultery, you watch family troubles. You have all kinds of things. And you’ve been wonderful. It’s. A good old fashioned belly laugh was it. A good comedy. Joy is gone. You’re facing unrest and A and a sorrow that’s on the world. Is it? Joy is the most amazing weapon a Christian has to have. God’s joy. Joy helps a person build their spiritual defences. And Joy helps you to bring down the walls and reservation that’s in another person. Is the most amazing weapon to have God’s joy, because when when you can get to a place where you’re not seeing the Blues and ripping, but you’re destroying the joy of the Lord, it’s amazing how that your. Defense has come up. You didn’t laugh at that. You know that that’s an old thing. People say, well, laugh it off. When you’re write down your question, you see some of these. Old sayings have wisdom behind. Them laugh it off. You come the place you’ve got to rejoice in. The Lord all rejoice evermore. That’s the scripture. You know that. Rejoice evermore. Oh oh, I’m so excited about this message. It’s an answer for young people. It’s. Something I want. You to get a hold of and take with you. From now on if you want. To memorize this scripture here. You gotta memorize the scripture. It’ll be a label that you’ll soon forget, but if you make. It a joy and a blessing. And rejoice. You’re gonna find you’ll keep right on doing it and you’ll be sustained in it. The joy of the Lord is your strength. It’s defenses for you. And you know, we ought to come in the House of God as we come in. We ought to laugh and we just. They find some place and sitting over in the corner and they’re so sad. Just come over and you’ll be in the lens and you’ve. Got his wallet. So how are you, brother? But sometimes they seem so far, but that man may only be a. Smile apart, friend. Right. Just the smile apart. I didn’t smile at him. You’re gonna rejoice with him and your blessing. He goes away. He’s he’s kind of irritated with you that you’re trying. To talk him. Out of it. How many times? Behold. I don’t know whether I wanna get over this or not. I have been enjoying this poor health, but I’ve been enjoying this thing feeling sorry for myself, but many of them want to shake it and they want to get rid of it and the joy of the Lord becomes the secret becomes the strength. Amen. So Joe starts out. Our joy is in this day’s prophesied to be withered away from the sons of men. And then in verse 16, is not the meat cut off before our hijab, joy and gladness from the. House of our God. That’s right. Then in the 2nd chapter, the 21st verse, it says fear not Orland be glad and rejoice, for the Lord will do great things. Now we’re coming into the promise and in the 23rd verse be glad that all you children of Zion and rejoice in the Lord your God. For I have given you the formaline moderately and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain and the latter rain in the first month. And that’s what we’re looking for. That mighty reign of heaven that’s gonna be poured out upon us. And and at that moment, I want you to notice that there’s a great deal of joy involved in that. The joy of the Lord. Now, this is necessary. The world is going to see. See something. In you, they’re going to see the. And they’re going to see the joy, and they’re going to think you’re nuts.

But believe me, that honey is going to. Be just sticky enough. They’re gonna think it’s pretty nice, and they’re gonna want some of the same thing. That you have. But people aren’t happy today. People have things all worked out. They’re not happy. But I believe that you can claim. This joy of the Lord. First of all, we’ve seen from the scriptures that it’s going to be 1. Of the great visitations of the end time. One of the things that you have. To see this. Hour as never before is that never have been so many things. That people could. Buy and own and enjoy life has never been as rich and full for them, apparently. On the service, there’s never been so many miserable people. In the world. And it’s just going to increase. People are going to be so unhappy. I’m not. I’m Satan is bringing up pressure upon them. Joy is winning away. Not even any natural joy. 1 joy’s taking. A walk anymore. Only reason they walk is they’re gonna have a heart. Attack. So it might be right. That’s right. What are you doing in baseball? Become the. Pitcher for the nobody can. Even block the. Ball the things getting to be so vicious. I thought you want to have some real fun instead of getting out here and getting a couple pictures of wind up, you know and and and send over a killer. Get a good picture that puts a cloud over. Everybody gets, everybody gets to hit it. Have more fun maxes like nobody believes this. Sort of thing anymore. Even sports has become a deadly, vicious thing. The business world has become deadly and vicious. Did they squeeze out the little components? What chance do people have of being happy? What chance do they have? And they come to. Support for a woman to try. To pick another woman’s man. It becomes the thing they see what they can do. See what they can accomplish. It’s a deadly island, and all the time God’s working the other day, he’s producing the sons of God who could become intoxicated on a glass of butter now. That’s right. He’s producing people that were able to enjoy themselves, enjoying their families. Well, that’s right, isn’t it? You young folks are not good at that. You have to see how far away you can go, how you can. You can play with morals, something. No, I’m really living. If you’re going to find your fulfillment, then your dedication to Jesus Christ, I don’t. The joy he brings to your heart. You’re going to be happy and joyful and you’re not going to find it necessary to see how close to the deadly precipice of sin that you can get. I think that’s the straight thinking. That’s the. Only way you’re going. To make it this marvelous, marvelous. Joy of the Lord. First go to work showing where the things I thought she was talking about dedication. Dedication isn’t gonna last, you’ll you’ll. You’ll blow up and your dedication if you don’t have a joy. Don’t give you the joy so that you can walk in this every day of the year, every night. And the book of Romans, chapter 14, verse 17, says for the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. For he that herein serveth Christ is pleasing to God. An approved demand. Would you like to please go? Would you like to be approved there, man? Oh, they’re going to. Persecute us, but it’s also hard to persecute a man who’s laughing. We can get their goal right there. And their righteousness and peace and joy and the Holy Spirit. Well, I don’t know about that. Live, live and let live and sort of get. I don’t know. And so here it is. You want to be, well, pleasing to God and approved to men. Just open up the Kingdom of God this. Filled with joy. And you know that shipping? To to the suffering Saints. For suffering is one of the keywords of of First Peter. But in the midst. Of it for joy, joy, unspeakable and full glory. This is what God wants us to have. Please make question about it. You could turn to the 61st chapter of Isaiah for a mindless prophecy of this. When the Lord is going to give us and verse 3 the oil of joy for mourning and the garment of police for the spirit of heaviness. Hey man, all the joy. Now there is a prophecy versus that therefore with joy. So you draw water from the wells of salvation. Salvation is always lightened underwater. But the joy the Lord is lacking under oil, water can evaporate. But oil does not. There’s always a permanence in the picture of joy. The joy from one the Lord of praise for the spirit of heavy. You like that and then verse 7 is this that they’re going, they’re going to possess the double portion and everlasting joy should be unto them. Everlasting joy should be unto them. And verse 10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, and my soul will be joyful in my God. We have pulled me with the garments of salvation. You have covered me with the. Righteousness. This is this is almost unbelievable. This joy that is to come forth. Did I read John 15112? These things are spoken unto you that my. Joy might remain in you, So what? About John 17. 13 Jesus in his prayer to the Father, says now come I to thee and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy. Fulfilled in themselves. You know, Jesus is joyful. What makes you think he’s anything? Else he saw this day of joy. You say you mean he looks in this? Mess and he’s still happy about it. Which says that he endured the cross, despising the shame. Hebrews 12, for the joy that was said before. You see, he was happy about the idea that you’re going to become. One of these precious people. One of his sons. It was a joy. And and he intends. For you to be. Joyful, he intends you to enter into his joy. Now there can be any question about it. Joy is a fruit of the spirit. When your lips are in God, the Holy Spirit produces that beautiful fruit of joy. You can’t be any other. Way, but I’ve been waiting before. The Lord, and I’m so sad every. You haven’t got into it.
