How do we walk with God?

HOW DO WE WALK WITH GOD?

What is a ministry? It is a walk with God; it is the new creation, faith working by love. We minister (serve) the Lord and one another, it is called Body ministry.

We develop a relationship with God, where we seek Him, until we have a meeting with Him, we encounter his presence. We feel his love for us, and we begin to love him back with that same love we are experiencing from him.

We tune into our brothers and sisters in the Lord and love them, because love is meeting the need, the world knows we are Christians by our love for one another in the Body of Christ, we are a family.

We give of our time in prayer, money, whatever our spiritual family may need, we learn to tune into one another because we are one spirit. We can sense and feel how they are doing, if they hurt we hurt, if they are doing well, we rejoice.

We love our neighbor, but only as we are led by the Lord- we serve other people on God’s terms, not theirs.

In a walk with God, worship always comes first, we spend some time worshiping the Lord, we find some kind of worship music to help us, and we learn how to sing a new song every day.

A walk with God is an everyday thing.

Next we get into the Word, even if it is only one word from the Lord, we confess a promise or a scripture out loud; we spend a little time in prayer.

We practice the presence of the Lord, we learn how to tune into him and listen to him, he usually speaks by spontaneous thoughts in our mind, that sound like our thoughts, but we don’t start them, they come to us spontaneously, and we can feel him in our emotions.

We ask the Lord questions? And He answers us, maybe not right way, but eventually. Some knowledge he does not give us, we do not need to know that right now, and something’s concerning our brothers and sisters lives, it is none of our business; it is the Father’s business. He is our Father and always has our best interests in mind.

We try to find some time during our day, when we can get alone with God and learn how to listen to him, it is a focused listening. It is called waiting on the Lord. Be still and know that I am God.

We spend time ministering to the Lord, He has needs too, or did you not know that? He is love; He loves us, but wants us to love him back. That is why he created us, we are his children by birth, we are a species of God, angels cannot meet this need of God, they are a different species, and they serve God more mechanically. And are ministering spirits sent to minister to the heirs of the Lord.

I know we all have a least one guardian angel; maybe we have three or four?

As we learn how to walk with God, we begin to grow spiritually, as we mature we are led by God. But as we are growing up spiritually we make some mistakes, we miss the will of God. I thought that was your will, I am sorry Lord, we learn from our mistakes.

We start out by reflective revelation; on waiting on the Lord we see how we should have done things differently. As our walk with God develops we get into progressive revelation, we begin to see things happen before they come to pass.

Holy Spirit is a prophetic Spirit, he shows us our future. We begin to walk like Jesus did, what we see the father do we do, what we hear him say we say.

If you do not have a walk with God, you are still basically living to please yourself, learn how to please the Lord and your life will become exciting, get out of yourself.

What are we learning in a walk with God? We are learning through the Holy Spirit how to draw upon the provision of Jesus Christ. Who does Jesus want to become to us, in us and for us.

What is the purpose of a problem? The purpose of a problem is to point to the solution. Jesus is the answer to whatever we may be facing in Life, who does He want to become for us, that he wouldn’t have the opportunity, if we were not in this situation?

You really haven’t begun to live the abundant life Jesus came to give you, until you learn how to walk with Him.
