The lame shall take a prey

It is the day that the Lord hath said unto thine heart by the prophet, “The lame shall take a prey.” Thou shalt not be concerned with thine own weakness, but thou shalt be renewed in the Lord, for the man that limps and is lame—the lame, the halt and the blind—shall take the prey in the field of battle, and shall be seated at the supper that is prepared; for the Lord is with you to deliver you.

Be not weary in your mind and faint not in your spirit, and if there be a day that cometh upon thee in which thy heart has sunk and there been despondency upon thy soul, rise up and strengthen thy hands in the Lord and be anointed afresh.

The Lord shall be with thee and the lame shall take a prey. Ye shall enter in and possess the blessings that the Lord hath ordained. Do not look upon the circumstances and say, “It is impossible;” but look unto the Lord who constantly reneweth thy strength and causeth thee to prevail where thou has not prevailed, and causeth thee to stand where thou hast not stood heretofore.
