You are not an animal

Sometimes we have desires in our hearts that do not come to pass, yet we cannot retrace our steps. It is no longer the period of time when we can go back, where we can spend days alone with God. To return to the deep quiet, that same spiritual climate where so many things came from the Lord. But we must now become a Ministry in motion, yest we need our times along with God, but we are entering into a time of Judgements coming upon the earth, which triggers the greatest outpouring of the Spirit, the latter rain outpouring, which will put people in a position of needing help, which opens there heart, to see in the Remant a way of excape, for deliverance shall be in the Remnant.

We will have to be in a state of spiritual, perpetual motion. Continually drawing upon the Lord and ministering out what has freely been given us. We cannot go back to the way things were, that is one of the reason this website exists, to provide the Words of the Lord, to help the Body of Christ receive the word they need, to keep in step with the Lord. Many are in the baby stage of their spiritual growth, where they cannot hear the Words of God, themselves, they need a little help.

We will no longer be a struggling little church looking for a foothold. Our numbers will be increasing on continents by the hundreds and will continue to grow. We must become less attached to anything that seems permanent, simply forgetting it and walking away.

Something new is happening that will not be found in our quite times alone with God, they will be found in a body of dedicated worshipers who will be lifting their hands in worship and flowing into a oneness together.

We are facing something completely new that will bypass those who will not listen. They do not realize that God is preparing hearts for something that is deep and important.

Listen.… listen in the quiet of the night. It is like an unheard rumble of an avalanche before it starts. One night I heard it after midnight—it is ready to happen. I can feel a change in my own thinking that is like a travail. Something different is about to happen.

I do not know how it will happen, nor do I know what it is. But out of it will come the manifestation of the pure vision of the army of the Lord doing a quick work in the earth and cutting it short in righteousness (Romans 9:28).

In the quite of the night, the Lord first gave the word of what a walk in the Spirit is all about. As far as the change that is coming is concerned, I do not think it will be a separate movement, but it will be different from anything we have ever known. We have not been brought to this hour in vain.

We sometimes think there is no way that we can continue on. It is as if everything freezes and we are not able to do anything. Suddenly our initiative is gone and we cannot purpose to do anything. What is happening? A change is taking place (from the individual to the collective—from one man to the Body), and we are going to function as a Body.

A missionary, formerly in the Congo, told about a large species of ants that march like a great army, eating every fleshly thing in their path. Before them insects and animals are seen running and screeching. These army ants have been known to completely encircle a house in preparation for attack. At a given signal, they march in as one great army, devouring every living creature such as cockroaches or other insects and animals.

Then they march on to their next destination. The missionary said that happened to the house in which he was living. Just before they attacked, he was able to grab the pet monkey and leap over the band of ants encircling the house.

Army ants, coming to a river, clasp themselves together in death, and little by little they form a bridge on which the rest of the army can cross over. This is a good example of Body ministry. They have been known to cut down a tree, as beautifully as a beaver, engineering its fall across a stream to make a bridge for the army to continue marching on. Armies of red ants and black ants have been observed and photographed waging war.

They march towards each other and stop at a precise number of feet apart. The two leaders approach each other, communicating in some way, and then return to their armies. The battle then begins, and when it is finished it is necessary to shovel away the mounds of dead ants. It is war, originating from one mind. Nature has signals we know nothing about.

Something has happened: the day of the individual has come to an end. The individual is vanishing; we see it in this age. Look around, because coming events are often foreshadowed in everything we see.

A person who attempts to open a little corner grocery store is stymied because he cannot buy food as cheaply as the larger markets can sell it. He stocks all the necessary products, but they do not sell because they can be purchased elsewhere for less.

Chain stores buying for less are linked against the little man. A man alone does not stand a chance because of the corporations that overpower him.

We are living in a time when we could be crushed by the steamrollers of monopolies, for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than children of light. Luke 16:8. However, soon the sons of God, realizing their ignorance, and begin to pray for wisdom; and God will give them wisdom superior to all that is in the world (James 1:5).

We are not coping with human wisdom. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12. Once we realize that human wisdom cannot cope with this, we will understand God’s plan for us.

He wants to manifest Christ’s victory moving through His many-membered Body (I Corinthians 12:27): not just through the individual, but through the individual submerged into the Body of Christ and enlightened with the heavenly wisdom of Christ Himself.

I believe with all my heart that we can prevail against any form of oppression that exists in the world. We are coping with formidable devil power which could be frightening if viewed from a human standpoint.

Peter said, in Acts 2:33, that because Christ ascended on high, “He hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear” (they were being filled with the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues). In other words, He shed the Holy Spirit forth like the abandonment of a mantle. We read in Luke 24:49 that Jesus told the disciples to tarry in Jerusalem until they were endued with power from on high. In the days of King James, this translation used many direct derivatives from Greek words. “Endued” is from the Greek word “enduo,” which means “clothe.”

Jesus was saying, in effect, “You will be clothed with power from on high” . “I will shed forth the Holy Spirit. It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come unto you” (John 16:7). “You must have the Advocate” (I John 2:1), “one called alongside to help you. You must have the Holy Spirit. If I do not go away the Holy Spirit will not come.” All the fullness of God was dwelling in Christ bodily (Colossians 2:9). He had to go to the right hand of the Father to share the glory of the Son, and the Father and the Son sent forth the Holy Spirit to clothe the people of God (Acts 2:33).

During a period of time around 1905, and in some places a little earlier, the Holy Spirit was poured out again. People began receiving the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues.

Nevertheless, the tragedy was that the people did not know what they had. To them it became a way to get a shot in the arm, a way to get a blessing, a way to exhibit. It became everything it should not have been.

They did not realize that the Holy Spirit was given for a real purpose. What is that purpose? For judgment, because the prince of this world is judged (John 16:11): that we will stand against the host of darkness that will come against us.

When Elijah was caught up, his mantle came fluttering down. Elisha picked it up, and walking over to the Jordan River he smote it, saying, “Where is the Lord God of Elijah?” (II Kings 2:14). There was an anointing on it.

In the same way, the disciples picked up the beautiful mantle after Christ ascended on high, of which Peter said, “He hath shed forth this which ye now see and hear.” It was not a fictitious article of clothing, as in the story of The Robe; it was the true mantle of anointing. The disciples were called Christians first in Antioch (“anointed ones”), for the word “Christ” means “anointed.” They were wearing the same robe of anointing that the Lord had worn. When it was shed forth, they each began to have a little part in that beautiful robe.

“What do you have?”

“I have the word of wisdom. What do you have?”

“Well, I have the gift of faith. What do you have over there?”

“I have discerning of spirits.”

“But you do not seem to be very bright.”

“We may be ignorant and unlearned men, but we have been with Jesus.” (Acts 4:13). That was what it was all about.

That is what it is all about today. Who are we to say we can do anything? Nevertheless, we can. There is an anointing on us. We are wearing that precious robe of anointing that Jesus had, like the robe of Elijah. When this robe is on us it means a double portion (II Kings 2:9).

In John 14:12, Christ was telling the disciples that after He shed forth the mantle of anointing upon them, then they would do greater works than He had done: “The works that I do you will do: and greater works than these you will do because I will go to the Father and send forth the anointing upon you.” No individual being has the full ministry of Christ, but He is giving of His attributes, His wisdom, His authority, and His power to all who are in His many-membered Body. Each one has a little portion, and no one person is to have all of it.

What great wisdom of the Father was in Christ when the robe of anointing seemed to be rent in pieces and began fluttering down like tongues of fire to rest upon each disciple? They went forth speaking the word of God with boldness, and the wise men of the world were astonished (Acts 4:31).

We are saying, “Do it again, Lord!” It is time for us to be filled with the Spirit of the Lord and to come forth once again to do the will of the Lord—once again to stand.

How can it happen? Isaiah the prophet said that the anointing will break the yoke (Isaiah 10:27). In his time, the yoke was the bondage of a slave. When a man was made a slave, his head was placed within the yoke (as if he were a jackass or a camel or an ox) for sign of subservience: “You’re my animal; you’re my beast!”

Babylon has tried to do that to all of us with its propaganda of pornography in an attack against the morals of the United States. “Simply put your heads in the yokes; you are animals. It does not matter if you trade your wives and your husbands around. It is nothing; you are animals anyway.” In this last generation, psychology has taught us we are only animals, and though we are finally able to stand up on our hind legs, we are still animals. Everything in the wisdom of the world is designed to tell you that you are an animal: “Put your head in the yoke. Be an ox. Be an ass.”

However, God is saying to you, “I will give you My Spirit; and by that Spirit you can say, ‘Jesus, Lord.’ And you can come and be My son as you follow the leading of the Spirit. As many of you who will be led by the Spirit, you will be the sons of God” (Romans 8:14): “not an animal with his head in the yoke, but a son of God. I will manifest Myself through you to the world. I will redeem the world from its futility through you who become the sons of God.” That is truly what our walking with God is all about.

An anointing comes from the Lord as we follow the Spirit. As we speak in the Spirit, move in the Spirit, live in the Spirit, and are led by the Spirit, the face of the world will be changed.

“But I am nothing!”

You have a fragment of that holy robe of anointing. You are a king and a priest of God, not an animal. Sometimes people’s love grows cold because of the presence of iniquity that abounds, and they draw back (Matthew 24:12). However, let nothing within you ever accept, for a single moment, the fires that are loosed of passion, lust, greed, hatred, and all the other things that prey on the old fleshly nature. Never accept it. There is an anointing that will break the yoke. You are not an animal. An anointing is coming from God, and if you are led by the Spirit, you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh (Galatians 5:16). Get up from your four legs, and walk like a son. Speak like a son. You will be one because you have received Him. You have the right to become a son of God.

This is a good word if you have been looking down. Look up. The anointing of the Lord be upon you now. Believe in the victory that is coming. Believe in the vision. Believe the yoke will be destroyed. It will be destroyed within us, and it will be destroyed in the world. The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands (Proverbs 30:27).

Lord, open the windows of heaven upon us to help us, bless us, and give us release.” An anointing can come to us now to shake the snake into the fire and rid ourselves of things that Satan has used to harass us.

Let us look up to the Lord and open our hearts to worship, drawing the Holy Spirit for an anointing that will come and break the bonds and the yokes for us. This is one of the purest visions that we could have, and God is going to bless it.
