Building of the rock

We are coming into perilous times and our house will fall if it is not built upon the Rock.

The rock is Jesus revealing Himself to us personally so that we can hear His voice, and then obey Him and partake of the divine nature of Himself that He is revealing.

Our obedience is a partaking of the divine nature.

2 TIMOTHY 3:4 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

Picture two identical houses. One had been built on sand and the other on rock.

Hear the sound, it sounds a little like a freight train heading full speed towards you.

Feel the rain, feel the wind, feel it hit you at such and unbelievable speed that it almost knocks you over.

The rain is coming at you horizontally, accompanied by a great wind; the sound is deafening and there was very little warning that it was coming.

After a while, the storm eased a little and you look toward the place where the two identical houses stood.

The house on the sand had been demolished while the house on the rock stood firm.

MATTHEW 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And everyone that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

You are a house; you are the house of the Lord. In the Lord’s house there are two kinds of vessels, vessels of honor and vessels of dishonor.

Is there anything in your life, that dishonors the Lord? Today is the day of your salvation! Today is the day, to prepare for the storm. Close all the windows, close all the doors. Be continually filled with the Spirit, so that you will be left standing after the storm. Because the Storm is coming.
