There must come an emphasis on hearing Jesus’s words. The words that he had spoken in the Scriptures.
“Your life must be founded and built upon obedience to JESUS’ words. They are the foundation stones on which you are able to stand in the days ahead.
Jesus says most Christians will study anything but My words. What I have spoken has formed the foundation for what would follow in the New Testament. The epistles of my servant Paul were built upon the words that I uttered. Know and obey the words that I have spoken and live.”
I was reminded of what Jesus said about His words in the gospel of John.
JOHN 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
JOHN 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
The words of the Sermon on the Mount are an essential foundation that must be laid in our lives.

Jesus warned us in Matthew 5: about the perilous times are coming. We must build our lives first upon Jesus’ words, because the storm of the tribulation is coming, and if we don’t our house will not stand. We are living at the end of the end of time and we need to be diligent in our walk with the Lord and begin to obey His sayings.
“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them …” (Matthew 7:24)
The only constant in the world that we live in is change, and it’s happening more quickly than most realize.
If we are not building our house upon the words of Jesus first, we will not be able to stand in the storm of the tribulation.
If we are not experiencing transformation in our lives, we will not endure the change that is taking place in the world.
EPHESIANS 5:15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
The great need of the hour is for insight and foresight The days in which we are living require real insight along with clear foresight.
A great unseen drama is being played out. A deadly battle is being fought for world domination. It would seem that Lucifer had some authority in this earth long before it was given to Adam.
EZEKIEL 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. 14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. The fall of Lucifer had a catastrophic effect on the earth
GENESIS 1:1 in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
God created a perfect world, and it would seem that when Lucifer fell, this first creation was destroyed.
GENESIS 1:2 and the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Some of the earlier manuscripts read “and the earth became without form and void”.
When a new earth rose out of the dark waste, it was given to Adam. This was of great dismay to Lucifer, who would try by every means to get it back. And so, the drama of the ages got underway, and it will not end until Revelations 11:15 is fulfilled.
REVELATION 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
The great and deadly battle for world dominance sweeps across Planet Earth, while within the church, a great shaking is taking place that will remove all that is not of God. The apostle Paul referred to this in Hebrews:
HEBREWS 12:27And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
The prophet Haggai also referred to this in Haggai 2:6 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; 7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.
There is opposing forces of light and darkness that is starting to shake the nations.
This battle is being fought on many fronts: religious, political, social, educational, and so on.
Two minds are vying for dominance; two philosophies are heading toward the greatest showdown the world has ever seen — a conflict between light and darkness that will be so violent that it will shake the very cosmos.
