There is no movement without tension. If you are relaxing at home and you reach for your cup of coffee, your hand must tense up in order to grip the handle properly.
What is true in the natural is also true in the spirit. In order for us to get ahold of what God is doing, we must allow a necessary tension in our actions.
Whenever we relate at depth with people, tension is always one of the ingredients. It is important that we can step back from this stress so that tension does not become a friction. All relationships need the oil of the Holy Spirit.
Tension tells us that we are close to something and the purpose of God. Make it a positive experience or you will lose control to the enemy.
Be excited about tension and then you can ask better questions to determine the purpose of God.
Tension has a purpose. What is it? Do not view people around you as negative; there is a more valuable perspective. What is it? What can you be excited and encouraged about?
