Transformation 1

What does it mean to be transformed? What is the goal of transformation? What should motivate us to undergo transformation? What do you do in order to experience transformation?

Rom 12:1 Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

The Definition of transformation -The Greek word is metamorphoo  –To change into another form – metamorphosis. Used to describe a change of form (when a caterpillar becomes a butterfly). Transfiguration -What happened to Jesus when He shone with glory .What is to happen to Christians in their service to God.

Not conformed (Sunmorfizo) to the world not patterned or molded by it. Transformed, transfigured, changed. Conformed into image of Jesus. Process of change renewed, restored to original condition. Adam before his sin to what he would have become. Adam was sinless but not perfect.

Renewing of the mind. Conscious   – Brain. Subconscious – Heart. Unconscious – Gut. Renewed in Greek is Ananeoo which means to be renovated by an inward reformation or restoration. Transitional and continuative process.

To undergo a complete change expressed in character and conduct. Transformation is something we submit to; we allow to be done to us. Not something we do by our own power alone. We submit to God’s power and by His grace. We are changed into another form. We become a “new creation”.

The goal of transformation. To become like the Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God. Rom 8:29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son. 2 Cor 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

To live like Christ who came to serve. To present our bodies as living sacrifices, holy, acceptable to God. To do the things Jesus did and greater. John 14:12 Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to the Father.

What motivates and empowers us? The mercies of God new every morning. Freedom from sin   – Rom 6:16-18. Gift of eternal life – Rom 6:23. Peace with God – Rom 5:1. The grace of God   – Rom 5:2. Salvation from wrath   –   Rom 5:9. The gift of repentance – Rom 2:4-5.

The love of Christ. 2 Cor 5:14 For the love of Christ motivates us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; 15 and He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf.

Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

What do we do to be transformed? Daily actively surrender ourselves as a living sacrifice.

Luke 9:23 And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me. 24 For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, he is the one who will save it.

Transformed – metamorphosis. Spirit, Soul & Body. John 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Titus 3:5 He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

2 Cor 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 1 Cor 6:17 But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him. Spirit – Soul – Body.

Soul – Flesh – Heart. Conscience, imagination, reason, mind x3, emotions, will, choice. Motives, desires, attitudes, mind-sets, belief systems, familiar spirits, patterns of sin, trading systems, idols, stumbling blocks, entanglements. Hurts, pains, rejections, fears, inadequacies, inferiorities, disappointments etc. Bloodlines (sins of fathers) record cleansing.

Heb 4:12 For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 3 = the number of government.

Process of Transformation. Sin, transgression & iniquity. Motives of heart .7 Trading floors of negative motives. Role of seraphim cleansing. Isa 6:7 He touched my mouth with the coal and said, “Behold, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away and your sin is purged.”

Process of Transformation. Dividing soul from spirit. Familiar spirit deliverance. Dividing joints, bone & marrow. Blood line cleansing. Generational cleansing. Iniquity removal. Judging the thoughts and intentions of heart.

Jer 2:13″For My people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, to hew for themselves cisterns, broken cisterns that can hold no water.

Voluntary process of refining and purifying. If you don’t volunteer God will engineer circumstances around your life to give you more opportunities. The atmosphere is going to heat up. Diligent and vigilant. Pursuit is the evidence of desire. Desire – discipline – delight.

God I thank you for your presence in my life. I open the gate of first love and invite you into my spirit. I invite you to activate my spiritual senses and flow through me. Jesus, I surrender control of my life to your lordship. You are Lord of my life. I choose to be a bond servant. Train me as a good steward so I can be your friend.

I step into your presence I receive my robes of righteousness. I present myself before your altar to you my high priest as a living sacrifice. Transform me into the image of Jesus from the inside out.

Renew my mind, heal my emotions, restore my conscience, cleanse my imagination, direct my will. Train my senses to hear your voice, know your heart, see your vision, be directed by your peace. Cleanse my bloodline and seed-line. Transform my DNA.

I step back into this realm. Manifest your kingdom rule through me to the world around me. I choose as an ambassador of heaven to administer the rule of the kingdom of God on Earth as it is in Heaven. Father, I choose to follow my eternal destiny into lordship, kingship & sonship. Display me as a SON of light on the earth.
