This message is about the children of God as the Joshua Generation learning to function in their governmental positions.
This governmental function is according to our cherubic nature within the Order of Melchizedek.
To function in a position of governmental sonship we need our identity to come from the Father, not from what we do.
We need a cardiognosis, face to face, heart to heart knowing of the desires of the Father’s heart.
Governmental sonship must be a reflection of the Father’s heart.
We need to take our place within the Order of Melchizedek as sons within the name of YHVH.
We govern within the power of His name as gateways for heaven to flow into the earth. It is our destiny to rule as sons to establish and expand God’s kingdom.
What is the Order of Melchizedek?
There are many series of teachings out there that go into great depth and some are very complicated and convoluted. I will try to keep it relevant to our sonship positions.
Our sonship gives us responsibility that flows from the intimacy of our relationship with our Father. The functions and attributes of our sonship relate to the Order of Melchizedek Identity, Position, Authority Priest, King, Oracle, Legislator Gen 1:28 God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over… it.”
We have this sonship mandate and are made in the image of God and in His likeness. We have responsibility for creation .That responsibility is to administrate God’s kingdom; to fill the earth and increase His government and peace.
The order of Melchizedek is a royal priesthood responsible for the tending and cultivating of creation through kingdom government’
Heb 6:19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil, 20 where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek Priest, King, Oracle, Legislator ‘According to the order of Melchizedek’ means ‘through the function of the office of’, which is a: Heavenly function, Priestly function, Kingly function, Governmental legislative function.
Heb 7:1 For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God… was first of all, by the translation of his name, king of righteousness, and then also king of Salem, which is king of peace. 3 Without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, he remains a priest perpetually.
To function according to this order we need to access three realms,
The eternal now, outside of time and space.
The heavenly and spiritual realms beyond the physical veil.
The earth and the physical realm.
The purpose of the Order is to converge eternity into time through the agreement of the heavenly royal priesthood function.
To establish that agreement in the physical realm of creation through the Oracle and Legislator foundational function.
We need to understand the four functions so we can represent those functions as sons. We are the convergence of the spiritual and physical realms.
We are going to look at the four functions individually and how they work together in oneness in us.
Priestly function engages the heart of the Father in face to face intimacy Engaging with the Father for the out-working of His will and purpose.
The priestly functions in agreement with the kingly function to establish heaven’s government to prepare for earthly manifestation.
As a priest we engage and discover God’s eternal love relationship and circle of the dance. We engage and discover the heart of God for our lives and for all creation. We engage and discover God’s desire for the restoration of all things and His eternal now continual realignment process.
Priest and King must function together in agreement and oneness. As a royal priesthood we come into agreement with the eternal now to administrate in the what is of heaven to create what will be on earth.
The function of a priest is to go within the veils and look out from within to reveal what is within without’
Matt 6:10 ‘Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.’
Administration of our priesthood is to bring completion to the Father’s will, purpose and heart. Man returns to oneness within the family of God included back in I am. We are in God and in the full function of a son of God within His name Yod Hei Vav Hei- YHVH reads from right to left
Hei represents the Man or Priest.
Vav represents the Ox or Oracle Hei represents the Eagle or Legislator’
Yod represents the Lion or King’
Beginning and the end encompass the middle as the heavenly surrounds the earthly.
The function of a priest in the old covenant was mediatorial between God and man.
Jesus is now our High Priest and fully fulfils that mediatorial role’’
As sons, our priestly role is therefore to mediate for creation; to converge the spiritual and the physical realms’
Melchizedek, as a heavenly priest, ministered to Abraham to help align heaven and earth.
Jerusalem below (physical) and above (spiritual) figuratively become one.
The earthly and heavenly mountains of the house of the Lord and Zion become one.
Our priestly role is to engage in intimacy with the cardiognosis of the Father’s heart for all of His creation’
The priestly function creates an arc of agreement with the kingly function so that all kingdom governmental rule is from the heart of intimacy.
Therefore, the priestly function must come before the kingly function.
Role of King was to rule in righteousness and justice: these are the foundations of the throne and kingdom.
By judging righteously and administrating true justice.
By being a provider, administrating peace and prosperity.
By being a protector, administrating safety and security.
Adam, as a son of God, was given dominion or rule over creation, with authority to subdue all opposition.
Kingship is the responsibility to exercise authority and power righteously from the heavenly throne; to execute judgment into the earth. To be fruitful, multiply and fill the earth.
Kingly judgment is to life, never to death.
Kingly judgments are verdicts that are made to empower and enable life.
Kingly, godly judgments are restorative not punitive or retributive.
Righteous judgment from the Greek words dikaios and krisis Matt 7:1 “Do not judge so that you will not be judged.”
Krino: to form an opinion or conclusion about.
Krino: properly, to separate (distinguish), i.e. judge; come to a choice (decision, judgment).
Condemnation is not the purpose of judgment.
Krima from krino: judgment, a verdict.
Things are associated or implied to judgment like a sentence or condemnation that are not explicitly meant by the word.
1 Peter 4:17 For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God.
To judge or make a judgment has various Greek words that are used to convey different aspects.
Most judgment found in the gospels is referring to the end of the old covenant system failure.
The evidence was weighed and a verdict has been passed and the result was the kingdom is removed from the old.
Judgment in the new covenant is the verdict based on the victory of the cross over death; where mercy triumphs over, or is now the result of, judgment.
The judgment has been made by God and passed in favour of His children who are now justified and innocent.
Col 1:13 When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, 14 having cancelled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
The judgment of the cross produces the verdict of not guilty of all accusations for all people for all time.
Everyone has already been made alive, reconciled, forgiven and saved from the wages of our lost identity and independence, which was death.
2 Cor 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 18 Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,
The if is already answered through the reconciliation of the cosmos
2 Cor 5:19 namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world (cosmos) to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
All this was done by God whilst we were still dead
2 Cor 5:20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
The king makes righteous judgments to life based on the verdict of the Cross To release God’s judgment to life into creation, so all will choose to be reconciled to God who has already reconciled them to Himself.
Psa 9:8 And He will judge the world in righteousness; He will execute judgment for the peoples with equity.
Psa 89:14 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Lovingkindness and truth go before You.
Old covenant Hebrew shaphat means to rule and to judge: they were synonymous .
Our kingly role is to administer judgment verdicts to bring life through our decrees, declarations and legislation.
To administer righteousness and justice from our enthroned positions.
To administer new covenant resurrection life to all creation
1 Cor 15:21 For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
All are made alive through the resurrection and all are included in Christ .Christ is in us all as all are now alive .
As kings, we are to administer the justice of the cross that all are alive and have been reconciled to God.
That in the new covenant there is now no distinction between slave or free, male and female or Jew or Gentile we are all now one new man in Christ; the partition has been removed .
Eph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall, 15 … so that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, thus establishing peace, 16 and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by it having put to death the enmity.
Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Gal 1:15 … God was pleased 16 to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him in the Gentiles.
Our kingship is to be a seat of fruitfulness, blessing and provision. Each of us is to rule and administer each of our spheres of government to be fruitful, increase, by subduing or overcoming all obstacles.
Administering an inexhaustible supply of righteousness and justice for that sphere.
Sceptre or rod is given to kings To bring true justice to the poor, the widows, orphans, homeless and addicted etc.
We can follow Jesus’ example of removing the barriers of class, gender and social stigmatisation based on lifestyle, money etc.
Psa 45:6 Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A sceptre of uprightness is the sceptre of Your kingdom.
The rule of kings symbolised by the sceptre or rod is to use that authority to empower, protect and care; not to control or dominate.
Psa 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
The rod of correction is to direct us into God’s government for our future. Valley’s shadow has no power over us because of the victory of the cross over death .
Our kingly government is to bring order to creation.
We are shepherd kings like David; our staff or crook is to clean up mess in the past.
Shepherd’s crook hooked the sheep’s leg to rescue and bring things back to order .
The ability to bring order into chaos.
Kingship uses the creativity ability of sonship to form and reform.
To administer creative light into dark matter and energy.
To arise and shine the light of love into the darkness of people’s hearts to enable them to access the light in them to become light once again .
We can follow Jesus’ example of the multiplication of resources and materialising matter from the treasury room of heaven.
Kingship is the governmental seat of power to change and transform earth to be like heaven .
The kingly seat of power is to move stars and mountains, authorities and government for times and seasons.
Align the 12 High Chancellors’ houses Kingship is used to terraform, to bring heavenly order to the earth through Embassies of Heaven.
To live under heaven’s government on the earth .
The Order of Melchizedek’s kingly function is to access the provision of the treasury room heaven. Manifest the resources of heaven into the earth. Matter transformation and multiplication for provision.
Access to open the aquifers of the deep to water the earth. We are to carry the governmental responsibility of kingship on our shoulders. True authority to govern e.g. Embassies of heaven on earth Legislate from heaven to earth.
Let’s activate this by engaging the arc within the holy of holies of the heavenly tabernacle.
Let’s engage the Man face for deeper revelation of the priestly function.
Let’s engage the Lion face for deeper revelation of the kingly function.
Steps like Jacob’s ladder leading up to heaven; start thinking about those steps and the open door .Hear the invitation to come up here. Let those steps form in your imagination and by faith walk up those steps to the door; step through the veil into the kingdom realm.
Jesus is standing in the doorway. Present yourself to Jesus, your High Priest, as a living sacrifice. Ask Jesus to take you to engage the arc within the tabernacle. Let Him take you by the hand and lead you.
Look into His presence.
Begin to think of His name, YHVH.
See His 4 faces rotating, morphing. Focus on the face you are drawn to and engage.
