The mind 2

Isa 42:9 “Behold, the former things have come to pass, now I declare new things; Before they spring forth I proclaim them to you.”  We need a new mind, a new reality and a new consciousness.

Mind – Greek nous.  The mind, comprising the faculties of perceiving and understanding and those of feeling, judging, determining.  The intellective faculty, the understanding, the reason.

(noús) is the organ of receiving God’s thoughts, through faithGinóskó- to know, especially through personal experience (first-hand acquaintance).  To come to know, to recognize, to perceive comes by experience not intellectual theory, theology or doctrine.

We have looked at the mind in various ways within previous teaching. The Transformation series dealt with trauma to transformation. Gateways teaching deals with the subconscious mind, the heart and the negative effects of our memories. The gateways of imagination were about activating the eyes of our heart to see the spiritual realms. The gateway of reason looked at detoxing our minds from the lies of toxic destructive thinking. These are all important processes in our transformation.

Now we are looking at the actual rewiring of the brain and the construction of our minds and our consciousnessWe are looking at the frameworks of beliefs that are veils that create the limitations that block our true mental abilities as sons of God.

Some of these amazing abilities with patterns, mathematical formulas, numbers, music etc. are seen in savants. Savant syndrome is a condition in which a person with a developmental difference demonstrates profound and prodigious capacities or abilities far in excess of what would be considered normal.

The savant’s mind is wired differently. This is not an aberration but a glimpse of what is possible in just one area. Those abilities often come at the cost of healthy emotional abilities. Sons are supposed to have all those abilities but, in the wholeness, and oneness of spirit, soul and body.

Rom 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. These two processes run in parallel if our minds are to be renewed. We need to let go of the old DIY ways to embrace the new reality of our sonship with a new mind.

Rom 12:1 Live consistent with who you really are, inspired by the loving kindness of God.  Renewing our minds will enable us to know God and know therefore our true selves and live in a new level of reality.  We do not know anything yet.

Rom 12:2 Do not allow current religious tradition to mould you into its pattern of reasoning. Like an inspired artist, give attention to the detail of God’s desire to find expression in you. Become acquainted with perfection. To accommodate yourself to the delight and good pleasure of him will transform your thoughts afresh from within.

Allow your mind and your consciousness to be expanded beyond all that you presently know and have experiencedExperience the reality of all that is, all that will be and most importantly all that can be within My heart.   Son let your monochrome existence become filled with my multi-colored, multifaceted reality.

1 Cor 2:16 For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he will instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.   Whose mind? Christ the anointed one and the anointing and the divine enabling power of God – empowering. The restored equipped mind of a son of God.

John 14:12 Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.   How many of things did Jesus do with an anointed or empowered mind?   Telepathy, transmutation, pre and post cognition, telekinesis, invisibility, quantum tunnelling, creating reality etc.

Jesus knew people’s motives and thoughts-  Mark 2:8. Immediately Jesus, aware in His spirit that they were reasoning that way within themselves, said to them, “Why are you reasoning about these things in your hearts?  Luke 11:17 But He knew their thoughts.

John 1:47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him, and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no deceit!” 48 Nathanael said to Him, “How do You know me?” Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.   Jesus knew Nathanael’s past and his character. Jesus also knew the Samaritan woman’s past at the well. Jesus knew Peter’s future. Jesus turned water into wine and multiplied food. Jesus predicted money in a fishes mouth. Jesus predicted where to cast nets for a catch of fish. Jesus disappeared before people  . Jesus walked through people as they tried to throw Him off a cliff. Jesus walked on water. We have the mind of Christ to do the same things!   Do we believe it?

Do we know how to use those abilities?   Is our mind wired up correctly and connected to those abilities?

We actually use most of our brains despite the popular myth that we only use 10% but we only understand how 10% of the brain functions. Only 10% of the brain are neurons; the other 90 percent are glial cells, which encapsulate and support neurons, but whose function remains largely unknown.   What’s not understood is how clusters of neurons from the diverse regions of the brain collaborate to form consciousness.

Neural pathways are like superhighways of nerve cells that transmit messages.   You travel over the superhighway many times, and the pathway becomes more and more solid. – habits and beliefs form. There are some areas that are disconnected, and some abilities are not yet reactivated.

John 14:12 I want you to be fully convinced about this, anyone whose belief concludes in who I am will also do the works I do. The Father is as present in you as he is in me because of my going to do what I am about to do.  Are we fully convinced we can do those works as Jesus did them?

When we really believe something, we will act on it.   What we believe will actually influence our behavior whether it’s the truth or lies. What does that tell us about our lives?   What do we really believe?

God does not want our intellectual assent but rather a belief that becomes transformational to our lives. Lies will never enable us to be who God created us to be  .Only the Truth (Jesus) will enable us to be free to be the real us and then only if we know it by personal experience.

When we find ourselves living in opposition with our supposed beliefs, let’s be willing to ask what the real truth is. Let’s be proactive and go and engage the Truth and let the Truth expand our reality to transform our lives. Let’s be willing to ask the questions that will bring a truth that we can live by.

2 Cor 5:17 So then, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; what is old has passed away—look, what is new has come!   New and Old we need to understand what these terms mean in connection with our minds, our consciousness and our whole lives.

2 Cor 5:17 Now, in the light of your co-inclusion in his death and resurrection, whoever you thought you were before, in Christ you are a brand new person! The old ways of seeing yourself and everyone else are over. Acquaint yourself with the new!  In the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God did not redeem a compromised replica of you; He rescued the original, blueprint you, created in his radiant mirror likeness! Any other ‘self’ you’re trying to find or esteem will disappoint!

2 Cor 5:18 To now see everything as new is to simply see what God has always known in Christ; we are not debating human experience, opinion, or their contribution; this is 100% God’s belief and his doing. In Jesus Christ, God exchanged equivalent value to redeem us to himself. This act of reconciliation is the mandate of our ministry.

If our minds continue to be limited by what we now know how will we be able to be and do anything new? Unless we have an iconoclastic (image busting) experience that reveals who we are within God we will be stuck in the same old same old life.

Our experiences with Truth have to be revolutionary to renew our minds. Mind – the element of a person that enables them to be aware of the world and their experiences, to think, and to feel; the faculty of consciousness and thought.   A person’s ability to think and reason, the intellect.

Consciousness – The state of being aware of and responsive to one’s surroundings.   A person’s awareness or perception of something.   That awareness is linked to past experience and beliefs it must be expanded.

To raise one’s consciousness, is to increase one’s awareness and understanding of what is possible as a son of God beyond the natural limitations of our past. We need an expanded consciousness to be aware of God and ourselves at new higher level.

Our consciousness is limited by our previous experiences so it is only having new experiences that is going to expand our conscious awareness to behold something different – how?   By engaging God’s mind who is omniscient or all-knowing and beyond our present limitations.

Our mind has the capacity to go way beyond its present conscious awareness. For that to be realized we must have encounters that expand our consciousness beyond our present reality or beliefs. You don’t need LSD or any drug to counterfeit the reality possible in God.

Prov 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean or rely on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;

Prov 23:7 For as he thinks within himself or in his heart (subconscious mind), so he is. How do I think about myself?   How do I perceive myself?   What do I believe about myself?   What are God’s thoughts about me?   Do I know and believe them?

If we remain earthbound and tethered to what we think we know we will never ascend to the place of maturity in sonship and be seated in the heavenlies in Christ.

We will only be conscious of earth and its limitations unless we go beyond the veil or barrier between the physical and spiritual between heaven and earth, that is now open to us through Jesus the door.

Transformed and the renewed mind.  Transformed, transfigured is metamorphoó – To change into another completely new form.  Renewing- anakainósis  Complete change for the better, a new development; innovation, fresh, new things

We must go beyond being the human beings that Adam descended into because of the DIY tree path. Man was created an eternal spirit being we can remember that again. Man was made a living being when spirit, soul and body became one with the breath or spirit of God.

Living beings should not have been the end but just the beginning of man becoming godlike being’s sons of God. There would have been ascension experiences of God that would have expanded man’s consciousness to higher levels.

Col 3:1 Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. 3 For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

Col 3:1-2 See yourselves co-raised with Christ! Now ponder with persuasion the consequence of your co-inclusion in him. Relocate yourselves mentally! Engage your thoughts with throne room realities where you are co-seated with Christ in the executive authority of God’s right hand. Becoming affectionately acquainted with throne room thoughts will keep you from being distracted again by the earthly (soul-ruled) realm.

What is it to think above?   The higher heavenly supernatural realms. Above the earthly DIY things that set themselves up against the knowledge of God.  2 Cor 10:5 We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,

Col 3:3-4 Your union with his death broke the association with that world; see yourselves located in a fortress where your life is hidden with Christ in God!     The exact life on exhibit in Christ is now repeated in us. We are being co-revealed in the same bliss; we are joined in oneness with him, just as his life reveals you, your life reveals him!

2 Cor 10:5-6 Every lofty idea and argument positioned against the knowledge of God is cast down and exposed to be a mere invention of our own imagination. We arrest every thought that could possibly trigger an opposing threat to our redeemed identity and innocence at spear point! The caliber of our weapon is empowered by the revelation of the ultimate consequence of the obedience of Christ.

The obedience of Christ dwarfs the effect of the disobedience of Adam into insignificance!  2 Cor 10:6 Our ears are fine tuned to echo the voice of likeness that resonates within us. We are acquainted with the articulate detail of the authentic language of our origin.

Eph 4:24 and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth. – believe.

Col 3:10 and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him.

Eph 4:24 Immerse yourself into this God-shaped new person from above! You are created in the image and likeness of God. This is what righteousness and true holiness are all about.  We can stay in the same old rut or we can choose to engage the truth in relationship with God.

Col 3:10-11 We stand fully identified in the new creation renewed in knowledge according to the pattern of the exact image of our Creator. The revelation of Christ in us gives identity to the individual beyond anything anyone could ever be. From now on everyone is defined by Christ; everyone is represented in Christ. (In seeing him not just recorded in history but revealed in us, we discover the face of our birth as in a mirror!

What old things have passed away and what old things are still clinging to us framing our consciousness?  The old things are lies constructs fabricated by our past that we still believe. They are not the truth, so they need to pass away.

What do I believe about God that isn’t true or experiential?   What do I believe about myself that is not aligned with God’s thoughts about me?   There are so many new realities for us to experience and live in beyond our limitations.

New family relationship. New rights as sons of the King. New citizenship of heaven. New name and New identity. New covenant of grace.

New responsibilities as sons. New levels of authority and power.

We have a New Mind. Without the new mind all the other new things are irrelevant. We won’t believe it because as a man thinks in himself so is he. We all have the ability to create our own reality which can keep us as less than everything we are created to be as sons.

Eph 4:23 Be renewed in your innermost mind. (Ponder the truth about you, as it is displayed in Christ; begin with the fact of your co-seated-ness.) This will cause you to be completely re-programmed in the way you think about yourself!  Engage God face to face and heart to heart, be still and wait to know Him.

Col 3:1 See yourselves co-raised with Christ! Now ponder with persuasion the consequence of your co-inclusion in him. Relocate yourselves mentally! Engage your thoughts with throne room realities where you are co-seated with Christ in the executive authority of God’s right hand.

Col 3:2 Becoming affectionately acquainted with throne room thoughts will keep you from being distracted again by the earthlyIt is the unseen, eternal realm within us which has our full attention and captivates our gaze!” A renewed mind conquers the space previously occupied by worthless pursuits and habits.

Renewal of mind through communion is breaking the neural pathways linked to old mind-sets and establishing new neural networks, new perspectives that can continually be renewedThe mind of Christ is thinking from the position and authority of sonship.

1 Peter 1:13 Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Heb 12:2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of how? One way is through the power of communion.

When we take communion. We fellowship, sharing life, partaking of his life by focusing, fixing our eyes. As we eat His flesh and drink His blood we are engaging with His life, His essence, His mind and thoughts. We engage by faith don’t just parrot the words experience them.  Applying the Body & Blood of Jesus to the renewal of the mind:  I eat your flesh and drink your blood so that I will have the Mind of Christ. Engage in the body & blood of Jesus and I embrace the transforming power of the Mind of Christ contained within it.

I engage the record containing the light, sound and frequency of God’s consciousness for the renewal of my mind back to its eternal condition. I embrace the record of the dimensions of the kingdom released in my mind by the thoughts of God to renew, rewire and restore my brain and thinking. I speak to my marrow and command it to be a new source of blood that will renew and rewire the cells of my brain so that I can have the mind of Christ. I apply the frequency of God’s thoughts resonating with truth to transform my mind into the Mind of Christ by removing all lies and breaking all strongholds. I command every neural pathway attached to negative memories and ungodly behaviors to be broken and new neural pathways aligned to truth be formed. I apply the blood of Jesus to all negative and impure memories and break all connections to sin and trauma – Mind and thinking be renewed. I apply the blood of Jesus to all negative images within my imagination and all negative belief systems within my reason center – Mind be cleansed. I call my mind to resonate with the thoughts of God contained within the Mind of Christ and come into alignment and agreement with an eternal perspective. I trigger the ability for telepathic communication, telekinetic power and transmutation abilities. I trigger the ability of creative thought, translation, bilocation, pre & post cognition, time travel.
