Garden of the heart 1-1

The Pathway of Relationship leads to deeper intimacy with God Flowing from inside out – from heaven to our gateways of spirit, soul, body to the world around us. There are depths of relationship on this pathway yet to discover

Relationship and intimacy are perfectly expressed in eternity between Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Perfect love, joy and peace are expressed in that eternal relationship. God desired to share that relationship and so He spoke the created order into existence.

Our spirits were created in God’s heart from the thoughts of His mind.  Our spirits have experienced this amazing love relationship in eternity.  We have been separated from those memories. We can now rediscover that eternal love relationship and engage God’s heart.

We sing this love song: See the way He holds the stars in His hands.  See the way He holds my heart.  Just one dream in Your thought You have wanted me.  Just one pulse of Your heart You were wooing me.

For God is a Lover, looking for a lover so He fashioned me.  God is a Lover Looking for a lover. So He formed my heart.

Relationship is the most important purpose of our heart. God created man in His image and likeness for relationship.  Eccl 3:11 He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also set eternity in their heart…  He created man with eternity, a God shaped hole in his heart.  There is a desire for relationship in the deepest part of all of us

We all need to engage that eternal relationship with God.  The desire for love, joy and peace is a driving force in our lives. We can only experience our needs and desires being fully met in relationship with God our creator and would-be-lover. An amazing love relationship going deeper and deeper beyond our imagination.

God has always done everything possible so people can be in relationship with Him.  Our enemy the devil who broke relationship with God has used religion to misrepresent this relationship.  He makes out that God is angry, to be feared, harsh and waiting to punish us. We need to debunk all those lies!!

God gave us a heart to be the place of union – the union of soul, spirit and God.  Just like God walked with Adam and Eve He wants to have an intimate walk with us.  Our heart is the place where that union or communion can take place.

The key is restoring spirit and soul to become reintegrated in oneness in unison and unity.  Engaging that process prepares us for intimacy as God always intended it.  It correlates with the 4 chambers of the heart restoration.

Man was created a living being, sinless but not yet perfected.  Man through sin became a human being where the spirit is separated from both our soul and from God.  When a person is born again, he spiritually becomes a living being.

Then begins the journey of restoration and perfecting. Where we become joined in relationship with God and become one spirit with Him. where we become reintegrated spirit, soul and body to become the godlike being God always intended

The heart has 4 chambers. To understand their significance and context we need to engage the process and the principles contained in the Hebrew marriage and the Ketubah contract.  Growth in intimacy prepares us for the true image of eternity in our hearts.

Garden, Dance Floor, Soaking Room and Bridal chamber will be places of continual experiential relationship as the river of life flows through us.  Everything flows out of eternal oneness.  This relationship fulfils the desires of our deepest needs.  Our unified restored heart is where the life is designed to flow.

There are 5 aspects of marriage: Lakah – Garden. Segullah – Dance Floor. Micvah – Soaking Room.  Ketubah – Terms of relationship. Huppah – Bridal Chamber.

God desires an intimate relationship with His people; this is often equated to a marriage.  He has chosen to engage in relationship right throughout history with Adam & Eve, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Moses, Joshua, Samuel, David, Solomon, Jesus, disciples.

Lakah = I want to make you my own.  Ex 6:7 Then I will take you for My people, and I will be your God; and you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.  This is designed to be an emotional experience touching our senses.

Our heart is our very core where soul and spirit are joined in the secret place of intimacy. This is where the essence of who you are in personality and redemptively can come into union with your eternal spirit self.  A restored image conformed to the vast sum of His thoughts revealed to us.

Psa 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. 3 He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness 5 You prepare a table before me  Matt 5:8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Psalm 23 was my marriage process.  To establish a pure love and total trust relationship with God.  Prepared as the bride laying in green pastures by quiet waters, restoration of my soul, a table before me, my head overflowing with oil establishing the house of the Lord for Him to dwell there forever.

Our relationship grows deeper as we engage this preparation process. 4 chambers of the heart are the four most intimate places you can engage God within our souls or ourselves, but they also have corresponding even deeper levels of experience in the heavenly realms

1 Cor 6:16 Or do you not know that the one who joins himself to a prostitute is one body with her? For He says, “The two shall become one flesh.” 17 But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him.  The focus of First love is restoring the spirit to Spirit relationship with God – oneness

We are joined to the Lord in first love within our spirit.  God wants to engage with our soul.  Our heart is the place where God wants to join with our soul.  The Lakah where God wants to look into our eyes emotionally and make us His own.

We need to learn how to engage God within our heart as well as our spirit.  Understanding how the heart functions will be the key in restoring that relationship so we can flow in abundant life. The key for heaven to flow through us. The key to our lives reflecting our eternal image. The key to living in dual realms.

Heart – physical organ.  Heart – emotions.  Heart – soul.  Heart – inner life.  Heart – personality.  Heart – record of our generational DNA.  Heart – sub-conscious mind.

The Heart is the center of all the operations of the human soul.  The “Heart” and “soul” are often used interchangeably.  The heart is the “home” of our personal life.  The heart is also the seat of the conscience and imagination.

Jer 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?  Gen 6:5 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Ezek 36:26 Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.  Our salvation experience is only the beginning of our journey but continues so we can live from a new spirit and heart.

Prov 23:7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.  Prov 13:12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but desire fulfilled is a tree of life.  Prov 4:23 Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life.

What is in our heart will determine how we live.  Our heart motivates and directs our lives.  Our heart contains the programming that triggers our reactions. What is in our heart has come from the world, nature, nurture and trauma. Originally it was the breath of life, God’s word that programmed our hearts.

Spirit = ruach, pneuma, breath, wind, the living word  God spoke life into existence  God’s word, His breath contains life  Gen 2:7 Then the Lord God formed man … and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

The very rhythm of breathing sounds like God’s name.  YHVH Yod Hei Vav Hei. God breathes into us His name we breathe out using the power of His name as the source of our creative ability to frame our lives with our words.  We need to learn to breathe in and out God’s name to shape life from our hearts.

Heb 4:12 For the word of God is living and active and powerful. “God speaks” is in essence the same as “God breathes”. What is the source of what we breathe and speak? It is only God’s breath that contains the spiritual oxygen we need.

Jer 31:33 I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.  Heb 8:10 … I will put My laws into their minds, And I will write them on their hearts. And I will be their God, And they shall be My people.

Gen 1:28 God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule…

The word of the kingdom (God’s rule) is to bless us to empower us to succeed.  God breathed this living active powerful word of life into Adam. Adam breathed out or spoke the word to bring kingdom rule, fruitfulness, multiplication, filling, subduing and dominion.  There was no separation between God spirit, breath and Adam spirit man.  We need God’s living breath within so we can speak or breathe it out.

Matt 12:34 For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart.  We speak from what has come from the outside – the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.  Or we speak or breathe out from what flows from inside – tree of life.  Tongues is a flow of spiritual words or breath from inside out.

Psa 119:10 With all my heart I have sought You; Do not let me wander from Your commandments. 11 Your word I have treasured in my heart, That I may not sin against You.  Our consciences are energised and empowered by what we sow into our hearts.

Psa 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.  What word?  The living word hidden and fruitful in our heart  Psa 40:8 I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your Law is within my heart.”

Psa 119:111 I have inherited Your testimonies forever, for they are the joy of my heart.  Psa 119:32 I shall run the way of Your commandments, For You will enlarge my heart.  Our heart can expand or grow in capacity.

Prov 2:10 For wisdom will enter your heart and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul; Prov 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.  Do we trust with all our heart?

Psa 84:5 How blessed is the man whose strength is in You, In whose heart are the highways to Zion!  Psa 97:11 Light is sown like seed for the righteous And gladness for the upright in heart.  Ps 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will give you the desires of your heart.  Psa 37:4 Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart.  We need to make sure our desires flow from inside our not outside in.

Matt 5:8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.  Jer 29:13 ‘You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.  Joel 2:12 Return to Me with all your heart.  Mark 12:30 and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.

Rev 3:15 ‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. 16 So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth.

Being half-hearted will never satisfy God and will never lead to the fulfilment of our destiny.  Impurity or mixture in our hearts will lead to disappointment, dissatisfaction and disillusionment.

Prov 4:20 My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. 21 Do not let them depart from your sight; Keep them in the midst of your heart. 22 For they are life to those who find them and health to all their body 23 Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life.

Meditation on the truth is what enables God to write on our hearts. Focused thinking, speaking, musing beholding, picturing and imagining. The living active word of God becomes the source of our guidance, the lamp and the light to program and direct our lives.
