Rejoice always, and again I say rejoice. Give thanks in everything; It’s the will of God for you.
We are made for celebration. Everything in us resonates when we give thanks. We are happiest when we exult in someone or something. Elation is a tangible expression of being overjoyed. Gladness, jubilation, and delight are visible characteristics that reveal to people a radiant happiness.
When we contemplate the Lord Jesus, there is a release of passionate exuberance that connects us to God and opens us up to his reality. Celebration is a way of life. A necessity, like the air we breathe and not an option. It must be planned for, prepared for, and practiced.
We do not drift to the top of a mountain. We exhibit a commitment to all the training and preparation required to get there.
Celebration demands preoccupation. It must dominate our attention to the exclusion of other things. It must have a very high priority. If it has no precedence, then Jesus has no prominence, and we are poorer because of it.
What is standing between you and rejoicing as a lifestyle? Pay attention to rooting yourself into the delight that the Lord has over you.
