When we get the gateways of our spirit and soul open and flowing we can begin to align our will, with God’s will. The life of God flows out of the unseen realm of God’s kingdom into our spirit and then our soul making us aware of the presence of God in us, through the simple focus of our spirit to join it to the Lord.
The most important expression of our will is desire. When we desire, when we hunger and thirst for intimacy with the Lord-His Spirit fills us. When we are filled with the Spirit, it creates a desire for more and more of his presence in our life which creates a cycle of continually being filled with His Spirit.
When the presence of God becomes the most important thing in our lives and we learn how to enter into that dimension, we are satisfied. But this satisfaction creates an unrelenting desire for more of more of him in our lives that it becomes a paradox. We are blessed-satisfied, but that satisfaction creates a desire for more and more. It is called first love.
It is through first love that we enter the government of His presence over our lives. As we learn how to abide in this relationship, then the things of this world no longer satisfy us, unless we can experience God in them.
It is through the setting of our desire upon him, through the focus of our spirit that we move beyond just being human. We enter into a life that is truly born from above. We enter into the new creation realities and begin to live a transcendent life, a supernatural life where we experience things that the natural human mind rejects as being real.
Our desire must be set on first love relationship with the Lord, because this opens the door to heavenly encounters. Otherwise we will get off the path of relationship, seeking something other than the Lord; he is our reward, just knowing him more intimately every day.
It is through first love that our desire becomes one with His. Through oneness of desire with the Lord, new realities begin to be formed in our life. It is through honor and desire, that the door opens for us to experience heavenly realities in our life.
It is through abiding in first love, first desire, that our will or desire becomes aligned with His. Oneness of desire can only be maintained through the awareness of his governing presence over our lives, being aware of the unseen realm. It is through this oneness of desire that we begin to see his government manifesting in the natural realm or earth where our body resides.
It is through this first love relationship that we can begin to continually realign our will to our heavenly Fathers, and learn how to tune our will into his on a continual basis.
Some people really struggle with bringing their will into alignment with the Fathers. Not my will but yours be done.
The first thing we must realize is that our obedience is a participation in the divine nature. As we walk in the will of God we experience his presence, because the will of God is first of all a state of spirit, in which our spirit is communing with His.
The problem we encounter is desires in our heart for other things that compete with the Fathers desire for our lives. Our heart is basically our soul, and there are things in our soul that block the life of God flowing into it. Our heart needs cleansing, healing, purifying , so that our soul is realigned with our spirit in a healthy way.
There is a suffering involved with the transformation process, the question is not are we going to suffer but how we should go through it so that we can come out of it, into the maturity on the other side.
God is with us through the transformation process so without the awareness of His presence with us as we go through it, we will not receive the healing and deliverance we can appropriate in it, and end up going through the cycle of suffering again and again.
We need to experience the comfort of the Holy Spirit as we go through the suffering of having things in our heart that do not originate in him removed.
Abiding in the presence of God causes us to experience his thoughts and emotions no matter what we are going through, so that the transformation process is something we embrace and not resist.
The problem is that our soul has become fractured, so that areas of our life seem to be separate from God, but the truth is we are never separated from God, we just have areas of our heart that are still in darkness and the light of God has to penetrate into those areas so that the healing process can begin.
The areas of our soul that have been fractured through trauma or our life experiences, have thinking and feeling patterns programmed into them, that we have to see through God’s perspective. The light and love of God have to penetrate into those areas, so that none of our memories cause us pain that is separate from the presence of God.
When our memories are no longer painful, in a pain that is separate from God, then we know we have been healed in that area of our life. We no longer regret the past but are able to use it in a way to help others that might be going through a similar thing.
All of the problems in our heart are thoughts, feelings, desires, pains and hurts that do not originate in God. These things are replaced with thoughts, feelings, desires and even suffering that originate in God.
Even though we are perfect in the spiritual realm of God’s kingdom and that is how he sees us, the things that we do can hurt him. But this kind of pain is different, when we are able to tune into what God is feeling, because we experience the presence of God in it. We are feeling what God is feeling, but in feeling it we are caught up into His heart, which is a great place to be.
God wants to possess our heart, so that we can possess our inheritance-his fullness. Sin is without a share in. Unless we are filled with all his fullness, the empty places in our heart will be filled with sin, something other than him. It has to be all or nothing, we have to lose our soul to keep it unto eternal life. Our gateways have to be cleansed, to enter our destiny.
