Beholding means to look or behold in a mirror, to see reflected.
We may only be seeing a dim reflection when we read the bible. This is why meditation is so important, we must learn how to become aware of the Lord’s presence, it is only through that awareness that we change.
To be transformed means to live by a different life form. It involves the miracle of transformation from an earthly form into a supernatural form.
It is the change that takes place in the process of a tadpole changing into a frog, which is the washing of the water by the Word.
It is the change that takes place in the process of a caterpillar changing into a butterfly. This is being changed through fire.
Before the tadpole could only live in the water, through transformation, the frog can now also live on the land.
Before the caterpillar could only live on the land, through transformation, the butterfly can now also fly, it can live in the air. The Greek word spirit means-a current of air, by analogy or figurative a spirit.
Being transformed means we begin to be able to live in the heavenly places in Christ while still on earth, it means we are living in dual realms like Jesus did while he walked on this earth-John 3:13
Most Christians do not believe this is possible, that is why they are not being transformed or conformed to the image of Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 3:18“And we all, who with unveiled faces beholding the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”
We need to look at our relationship with Jesus as a priority and spend real time in His presence. Prayer-two-way communication where we begin to hear his voice and waiting on the Lord which is a focused listening. Worship- where we have a real meeting with the Lord, and the Lord communicates His feelings to us, we can feel His presence. Meditation where we begin to see on the screen of our mind, we begin to see in the Spirit.
The closer your relationship is with the Lord, the more capable you will be of overcoming trials and difficulties in your life. You will see a bigger picture and be able to operate outside of what is naturally expected. You will bounce back from pain faster. You will be quicker to love and slower to anger.
Why? Because you can’t dwell in the Presence of the Most- High and come away unchanged. You can’t have a close relationship with the Living God, the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth and stay the same old you. Being in that presence will cause you to step into your truest identity. To shed your old nature and live in the divine nature.
You will begin to live in dependency and WONDER.
As you begin to learn how to enter the kingdom realm of the Spirit, you will be amazed as you are dwelling in this dimension. Before this experience you truly did not even realize that this realm exists.
There are three feasts of the Lord we must experience. Passover- where you get saved or born again. Pentecost- where you are baptized in the Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. And tabernacles where you learn how to ascend into the Spirit realm and eventually enter into a face-to face-relationship with the Father.
Do not be discouraged, if you do not speak in tongues fluently, keep asking the Lord for this gift in faith.
