DECONSTRUCTION — TEARING DOWN TO BUILD THE TRUE TEMPLE
There’s a reason the Spirit leads so many people into what we call deconstruction. Religion hates that word, but heaven doesn’t — because it’s the very process the Scriptures reveal.
Jeremiah was told by God:
“To root out, to pull down, to destroy, to throw down… and then to build and to plant.”
Before anything genuine can be built in you, the false has to fall.
Every belief that didn’t come from Spirit,
every tradition of men that makes the Logos within you of no effect,
every inherited doctrine you never questioned —
all of it must be torn down.
This is the demolition of the false self.
This is the removal of the leaven.
This is the dissolving of the “you” that religion created.
And when the tearing-down is finished, there’s only one thing left standing:
Christ in you — the hope of glory.
This is why Paul said:
“Everything I once knew is dung.”
Why?
Because none of it brought him into union.
None of it awakened the truth in him.
None of it revealed the temple he already was.
He didn’t give up his past because he was ashamed of it —
he gave it up because the light of Christ within eclipsed every doctrine, every tradition, every external religion he had ever clung to.
Once you connect to Christ in you,
you don’t need anything outside of you to tell you who God is or who you are.
You don’t rely on a system to validate your experience.
You don’t wait for a pastor to confirm what Spirit already whispered.
You don’t live by secondhand revelation.
Now you connect to people not to get life,
but to impart life,
because you’ve become what Paul called a life-giving spirit.
Union dissolves duality.
Love dissolves fear.
Light dissolves distortion.
And once you’ve gone through the tearing-down,
once the idols of your mind and the doctrines of men have collapsed,
and once the temple has been cleared of everything foreign…
All that remains is the truth:
You are the dwelling place of God.
You are the temple where heaven meets earth.
You are the son walking in dominion,
and wherever you walk, fear cannot enter.
This is deconstruction.
This is restoration.
This is the gospel Jesus actually brought —
not a gospel of adding things on top of your life,
but a gospel of dying to the false and awakening to the real.
Spirit’s Whisper ![]()
Let what is false fall without fear.
I am not in the rubble; I am in the foundation that remains.
Trust the hands that uproot and the fire that refines.
When the dust clears, you will see—
it was always Me, alive in you.
