Faith does not procrastinate

Faith is living and active. It should match the relationship that we have with the father.

It is our privilege to be confident and assured in his name and nature. Faith steps out onto the ground of God’s identity. He is worthy of trust.

Faith never hangs back. It climbs out of the boat at the smallest invitation. The only time that faith takes time to produce something is when the Lord teams it with patience. Faith and patience will always inherit eventually. There is usually a now quality to faith-a stepping into something by permission.

We never look at what we are stepping onto or into with faith. We look at the nature of the permission. What God permits, he supports us in.

Do not wait to believe. Unless the Lord says otherwise, believe now! Faith is always immediate unless there are other instructions. Do it now!

What do you need to believe God for at this time? What permissions do you have already? What prophecies or promises have already been spoken over your life? Don’t wait… act!

It is not your job to change people… only to demonstrate what God is really like.

Think of the people around you. What does the Lord want to be for them now? What confidence, encouragement and assurance do they need in order to step up into a new level or place with God?

Over to you… that’s your role at this time? make notes on your family and friends, then go and be the gift that the father wants you to be.
