Rev22:1 and he showed me a pure (clean, unalloyed) river of water of life; clear (shining, bright, radiant) as Crystal (transparent), proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
We are coming into the day of transparency, when the vessels of the Lord shall be filled with His glory. The Lord is requiring an honesty of heart. Unrighteousness is deceit in the heart, the only thing which keeps the Spirit of truth from working. The wise shall shine as lights, no good thing will the Lord withhold from those who walk uprightly, and it is absolute insanity not to come to the Light.
John3:19 and this is the condemnation (decision, judgment given-sentence pronounced), that light (the life of God) has come (completeness of action) into the world and men loved (specific point past) darkness (blindness of spirit) rather than light (nature of God, life of God), because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light (fire of God’s holiness), neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved (exposed, discovered). But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest (eyes opened), that they are wrought in (intimate union) God. The living works are those the spirit motivates and carries out through the flow of His spirit.
The river of Life flows out from the throne of God. The river of life is the flow of the Spirit of God in our lives, and it flows forth from where the Spirit is, Where Jesus is Lord-that is where His Throne is. As we enter into His Presence we enter the throne room. Once the throne of God is established in our heart, out of our heart will flow the rivers of Life.
John7:37 if any man thirsts (continuous action subject to a condition), let him come (command, continuous action) unto me, and drink (command, continuous action-keep drinking). He that believeth on me, as the Scripture hath said, out of his belly (womb) shall Flow Rivers (streams, torrent, flood) of living (quickening) water. But this spoke he of the Spirit, which that that believe on him should receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified(receiving the glorified spirit of Jesus, the spirit of adoption, the spirit of truth)
If any man thirsts, let him come and drink- the only requirement. Unless we thirst we will not keep coming and keep drinking and be filled to overflowing.
It is in the flow of the Spirit, that we are cleansed from all unrighteousness, and His glory is increased in our lives.
Zech13:1 in that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.
It is only as we drink of the Spirit, that he comes inside and displaces that which is not like him.
John4:10 If thou knewest the gift of God-thou wouldest asked of him, and he would have given you living water. 14) But whosoever drinketh of the water, that I shall give (impart by the spirit, commit into the possession of) him shall never (no never) thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in (abiding in) him a well (source or supply, fountain which flows, the indwelling Spirit of God) of water springing (to leap) up into (motion into, life flowing until swallowed up) everlasting life.
It is only in the flow of the spirit, that we experience the abundant life, and are truly satisfied.
Psa 36:7 How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house: and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
It is only in the flow of the spirit, that our eyes are open, and our thinking and feelings are right.
Isa 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid; for the Lord JEHOVAH is my salvation. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
It is only as we learn how to draw from the Lord, prime the pump, and get into the flow of the spirit, that we experience the salvation of the Lord.
Ezekiel47:1 Afterward he brought me again unto the door (opening, entrance, mouth) of the house (temple-the believer) and behold (expectation, certainty), waters issued out from under the threshold (point of beginning, entrance) of the house-the waters were to the ankles-were to the knees-were to the loins-for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over (crossover, penetrate.)
It is out of our mouth, from our spirit, that the river of life will begin to flow forth, bringing the life of God to everything it touches. The flow of the Spirit will increase until we will be swallowed up into life. The flow of the Spirit will be so strong that nothing will be able to hinder it or penetrate it.
It is in the moving of the Spirit, that there is life. The moving of the Spirit is the result of a heart crying out for Him! It is all about knowing Him, an intimate relationship!
Rev22:17 and the spirit and the bride say, come. And let him that heareth say, come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
The Spirit of God is saying come! As we begin to hear His voice we say come! Those who begin to hear our voice will also say come! Whosoever will-includes everyone. The only reason someone does not come, is because they cannot hear the voice. It is the voice of the one who paid the price. God so loved the world that he gave, it is the voice of the one that loves us more than we could ever imagine, it is this love that begins to draw us and as we drink of the water of life, it sets us free to love Him.
