Garden of the heart 3-1

The pathway of relationship leads to deeper intimacy with God, flowing from inside out – heaven to our gateways of spirit, soul, body to the world around us. There are depths of relationship on this pathway yet to discover.

Our heart is our very core where soul and spirit are joined in the secret place of intimacy. This is where the essence of who we are personality and redemptively can come into union with our eternal spirit self. Our image restored and conformed to the vast sum of God’s thoughts revealed to us in eternity and now in intimacy.

God gave Adam a garden on earth so that it would reflect Eden God’s heavenly garden.  God walked with Adam in those gardens  Our heart is designed to reflect our spirit and heaven to be a garden where God can walk with us today.

Matt 11:28 “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Ps 23:The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. 3 He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.  This all takes place in gardens within our heart and heaven

Restoring our heart’s garden reveals our true identity so we can become gentle and humble in heart.  We need to discover the true source of our identity. Do we get it from rest or from works?  From inside out or outside in?

Our identity comes from relationship.  Our destiny comes from relationship.  We do what we value, and we value what we do. What are we spending our time on?  That is what we truly value. That is where are needs are being met.

What level priority is our relationship with God?  We are driven by our need for love, acceptance, affirmation, approval significance and security  What is the source that we are drawing on?

There are 2 pathways or sources: One is the tree of life. God and heaven is where its source flows from. The other is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. That has man and earth as its source.  One path and source damages the soul the other restores the soul.

One tries to draw everything in because life is about me, myself and I it is focused on my receiving.  This leads to being self-conscious in relationship with the world.  The world owes me because I have to earn everything through the sweat of my brow. So, I have to work everything out myself in the power of my soul through my body senses. My soul is independent and separated from God and my spirit.  So my needs are met through what I do or from what I can get from others often in co-dependency.

One path flows out because it’s about my conformation to God’s image and is all about being God conscious. The focus is about giving and about taking responsibility for the world. So, we can out work everything in the flow of our spirit in union with God and our soul and body.

We either become driven to get or led to give from what we have freely received.  Either our significance, acceptance, approval and affirmation come from others because of what we do. Or our needs and identity are met in relationship with God because of who He is our Father, Lord, brother and friend. We are either slaves in the world system or sons in a heavenly relationship.  We are either stripping the world of its resources to meet our needs or tending and cultivating the world to meet the needs of others.  One path leads to walking with God in the gardens that yields their fruit willingly and continuously.  Our heart becomes like a well-watered garden and our lives described as fruitful trees.

Psa 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. 3 He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers.

Gen 1:28 God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule. Fruitfulness brings life, multiplication and filling growth in relationship because it is motivated by love and giving as sons.  We have a vocation, a calling, a destiny as sons. We are blessed so we can be fruitful, and we can give generously with a wealthy prosperous mentality.  2 Cor 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything; you may have an abundance for every good deed;

The other path leads to hiding from God and covering up using the fig leaves of dead works to try to earn our blessing. Our heart is like a barren desert.  Barrenness is like the curse that resulted from Adam’s sin. Barrenness brings death motivated by fear and therefore selfishness trying to earn as a slave to the machine. We have jobs, duty and an obligation as slaves. We are cursed and barren, so we keep things because of a poverty mentality. We keep the wealth because of fear.

What path are we living on?  What source are we drawing from?  Are we fruitful or fruitless in regard to others?  Are we consumers or contributors?  We need to tend and cultivate our hearts to release its life flow.  We need to have fruitful hearts.

Our heart is designed to be fruitful. Our heart is designed to multiply to expand and grow. Our heart is designed to be filled. Our heart like a garden has soil which needs preparing. We need to prepare the soil our heart for fruitfulness

Our heart’s garden is created to reflect our image as sons of God.  So eternity and time converge in the union of our body, soul and spirit.  We need to tend the garden to reflect our heavenly spiritual identity and our redemptive gift identity. Our heart needs to be in good condition if it is to be a source of life.

We need to rotovate or till the soil breaking up the hard surface. Condition the soil, fertilize it with organic material.  Prepare the soil to be suitable for the type of plants.  Add lime to acid soil or sand to clay soil or peat to alkali soil.

Without water no life can survive. Without water there can be no fruitfulness. Without water there will be no flow of life. Fortunately, we can have water flowing into our hearts.

Jer 2:13 I am the fountain of living waters.  Psa 23:2 He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters.  Isa 58:11 And you will be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.

Isaiah 44:3 ‘For I will pour out water on the thirsty land And streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring And My blessing on your descendants; The River of life flowing with living water is the empowerment to prosper our lives.

Jeremiah 17:7-8 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord And whose trust is the Lord .”For he will be like a tree planted by the water, That extends its roots by a stream. And will not fear when the heat comes; But its leaves will be green, and it will not be anxious in a year of drought Nor cease to yield fruit.

Song of Solomon 4:15-16 ” You are a garden spring, A well of fresh water, And streams flowing from Lebanon. “ Make my garden breathe out fragrance; Let its spices be wafted abroad. May my beloved come into his garden and eat its choice fruits!

Psa 46:4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, The holy dwelling places of the Most High. 5 God is in the midst of her, she will not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns.  This can be our heart’s garden.

Isa 12:2 “Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For the Lord God is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation.” 3 Therefore you will joyously draw water from the springs of salvation.

John 4:13-14 … whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life. “There is no flow without drinking we have to prime the pump.

Jer 2:13 “For My people have committed two evils, they have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, to hew for themselves cisterns, Broken cisterns That can hold no water. What is the source of our life?

John 7:38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’” 39 But this He spoke of the Spirit, God the Spirit is the river, and we can encounter Him through experience.

Knowing God our shepherd in intimacy of relationship comes through experiential meditation. Opening the eyes of our heart, our imagination that connects us to eternal reality. Open the eyes of my heart Lord so I can see you.

God’s garden Eden can be reflected in the cultivation and tending of our hearts. Our spirit our eternal identity joined to the Lord and one spirit flowing like a river into our hearts. Restoring spirit, soul and body to be in complete unison and cooperation.

Gen 2:15 Then the Lord God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate it and tend it.

Gen 3:23 therefore the Lord God sent him out from the garden of Eden, to cultivate the ground from which he was taken.

Gen 4:12 When you cultivate the ground, it will no longer yield its strength to you; you will be a vagrant and a wanderer on the earth.”  We need to tend the garden of our hearts. Care for or look after; give one’s attention to:

I need to look after my heart so that it is a place that produces life. Manage the things that I have received by storing them in my heart.  My heart becomes a reflection of my spiritual experiences

Look after the things in the garden. Grass, Paths, Fences, Shed, Patio.  Create a special secret or intimate place. My dreams visions are living tapestries hinging on the trees.  My scroll, blueprint mandates are stored in my garden. I have testimonies thrones, sword scepter, staff, seal, crowns and a blue stone of destiny as a ring. I have scrolls planted that produced two silver trumpets. To store things given by God in the heavens you figuratively eat them, scrolls, diamonds, scepters etc.

Ezek 2:8 Open your mouth and eat what I am giving you. Ezek 3:1 Then He said to me, “Son of man, eat what you find; eat this scroll. 2 So I opened my mouth, and He fed me this scroll. 3 He said to me, “Son of man, feed your stomach and fill your body with this scroll which I am giving you.” Then I ate it, and it was sweet as honey in my mouth.

We need to cultivate the garden of our hearts. Plants seeds of testimonies etc. in the soil.  I like to plant it near the river of life.

Matt 13:23 And the one on whom seed was sown on the good soil, this is the man who hears the word and understands it;  Seeds = encounters, victories, visions, revelations, testimonies, truth mandates etc.

Water the seeds from river of life.  1 Cor 3:8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one; but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor.  Speak life call forth its fruitfulness. The seed grows into tree or bush that has fruit. That fruit as a testimony can be eaten or given to others.

Rev 12:11 And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. Seed of testimony = encounter, vision, victory, revelation, word – produces fruit. Eat the fruit to release the power of the testimony again & again.

A testimony planted as a seed that puts down roots that act as anchors to the experience within our memory, so that it can become doorway to re-experience. The seed produces fruit that can be eaten again and reengaged and given to others to experience.

When I had my first encounter in the garden of my heart with God, I did not even realize it was my heart. There only was a tree with a swing and a small patch of grass and a small bench. I was sitting on the swing being pushed by God talking and sharing.

My heart is being restored with living water carrying truth and wisdom from the eternal ancient pathways of heaven. It is becoming a fertile plane of truth lush with vegetation. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, fruit, abundant and overflowing.

I have learned to tend and cultivate my heart by planting things in my garden and engaging truth. My engaging with the 4 faces of God as living creatures have produced a river that looks like a tree with 4 main branches each with 7 branches producing many fruits.

The river of life is flowing outwards its 4 tributaries like branches carrying my truth encounters planted as seeds and producing the fruit of testimony. Tree has roots of intimacy and relationship with Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit and Wisdom growing deeper and established in love and trust.

This tree has a strong trunk forming through interacting with the 7 Spirits of God.  Being tutored by the Spirits of the Lord, Fear of the Lord, Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding, Strength, Counsel

I plant the testimonies that bring order and government to my soul.  My garden has order and the pattern of the tree of life is its blueprint.  Secret places of intimate revelation.  My dreams visions are living tapestries hinging on the trees.

There is a table cloth in a meadow by the river of life this is where I can feast on all God has prepared for me. There are secret places of intimate revelation and encounter and relational connection with 7 spirits Wisdom and Prudence.

Eternity in my heart is the true reflection of the tree of life (image within Metatrons cube) a sacred geometric fractal image of my destiny. Eternal pattern. Golden mean or ratio – Phi. Tree of life, Jacob’s ladder.

Seed or flower of life

Matt 6:19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; 21 for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

What is the source of our treasure?  Does it come from our earthly identity from doing. From earthly acceptance, affirmation and approval from man or self-effort. What are we sowing and what is the resultant fruit?

Our identity should be derived from our relationship with God our creator. Our treasure is the gold, silver and precious stones attached to the scroll of our life. Our hearts are then God focused rather than man or self-focused.  Our value, worth, esteem, affirmation comes from our relationship with God rather than from what we do for God. Those experiences or testimonies of God are the fruit that gives us that affirmation.

Psa 37:4 Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart. We need to learn how to create and cultivate desire in our hearts.

We all have a destiny in both time & eternity.  Jer 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

Psa 139:16 Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book (scroll) were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them. 17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them!

Prov 4:20 My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. 21 Do not let them depart from your sight; Keep them in the midst of your heart. Set our hearts towards it. Set our desire upon it.  Pursue our desire. By listening, looking, engaging and experiencing true reality. Begin to resonate and align ourselves with it and become harmonious with it.

We only have authority for what we carry in our hearts. Our destiny, blueprints, (vision), mandates, our 7 spheres of authority, and people need to be planted as desires in our hearts. We need to cultivate those desires.

Cultivate God’s desires through meditation: Brood over and incubate it; think about it, focus our attention on it. Meditate on what it would be like. Daydream, imagine, picture it.

By cultivating we are creating an expectation, a hope within us. We take what God reveals and engage it. We can find out about it in the word.  We can look at others’ lives that model it. Most importantly we need to experience it through meditation.

In the natural realm I have learned to cultivate desire. As a tech geek something provokes my interest, I look at reviews, manuals, forums, I view it I want it, I need it, I must have it. I will do whatever it takes to have it.  I am willing to pay the cost for it.

Meditation on the truth is what enables the seed to produce fruit in our hearts. Focused thinking, speaking, musing beholding, picturing and imagining. The living active word of God’s desire becomes the source of our guidance the lamp and the light to direct our lives.

We need to release the life in us. Ezekiel 47:5 Again he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not ford, for the water had risen, enough water to swim in, a river that could not be forded… behold, on the bank of the river there were very many trees on the one side and on the other.

Ezekiel 47:7-9, 12  Then he said to me, “These waters go out toward the eastern region… being made to flow into the sea, and the waters of the sea become fresh. It will come about that every living creature which swarms in every place where the river goes, will live.
