The bible is full of symbolism; it is a concealed revelation, until the Lord reveals it to us. In the book of Revelation, we see around the throne, four living creatures and the 24 elders. This is a picture of our ministry as a kingdom of priests; the King James says Kings and priests. It is singular or plural depending on what Greek manuscript you read from.
Revelation 1:5 loved us and washed us from our sin in His blood and made us kings and priests unto God and His Father.
In Revelation 5 in the opening of the book (scroll) with the seven seals, it says
Revelation 5:8 and when he had taken the book the four living creatures and the twenty four elders fell down before the Lamb
Revelation 5: 9 and they sang a new song saying you are worthy to take the book and open the seals for you were slain and has redeemed us to God by your blood out of every tribe and language and people and nation and has made us unto our God kings and priests and we shall rule on the earth.
The four living creatures and the twenty four elders are singing a new song because they have been redeemed from out of the nations of the world and made kings and priests.
Our secondary destiny is to rule and reign with Jesus Christ over the heavens (universes) and the earth which will start with the creation of a new earth.
We are the four living creatures and the 24 elders. At the opening of the first seal, we have harps and golden vials full of odors. Harps refer to our worship, the odors are fragrant powder burnt in spiritual service; by implication the burning itself: – incense, odor. This refers to our being a burnt offering, a living sacrifice and our prayers, which I believe releases the first seal.
Revelation 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. 7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. 8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odors, which are the prayers of saints
Then we see in the seventh seal the beginning of the trumpet judgments and our prayers are cast to the earth, causing the trumpets to sound.
The word angles can be interpreted as messengers, who are the men in white linen, the cloud of witnesses who revealed to John the things that would take place, and he fell down to worship one of them and he said do not worship me.
Revelation 19:9 And he saith unto me, these are the true sayings of God. 10And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, see thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy
These prophesies, proclamations, and mandates of ours cause the judgments when the man child ascends to the throne and displaces Satan and his angels
Revelation 8:2 And I saw the seven messengers (men in white linen) which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. 3 And another messenger (a man in white linen) came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. 4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand. 5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. 6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
We are the trumpets, we are the sound, the oracles of God, whom He speaks through, when we are given the ministry of Judgement, when the love of God is perfected in us.
I will go into more detail about this, but meditate on it, Peter and Paul ministered judgment in the book of acts, it is part of our inheritance. Judgement begins from the house of God.
1 peter 4:17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?
17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?
The word at is apo’ in the Greek, it is translated “from” 393 times in the King James version, but only “at” 9 times.
The previous verse deals with the saints suffering persecution and verse 17 literally reads- as concerning that the time for judgment to begin from the house God also that away from us firstly who the point aimed at those who disbelieve willingly the gospel of God.
