God hath made thee a winner

Shall it not be a joy unto your heart that you shall behold from day unto day that which the Lord has spoken unfold before thine eyes? Yet thy heart hath rejoiced in it by faith. When thou hast only embraced the thing afar off, it has yet been a joy and a delight to thy heart. Behold how great shall be the joy. Ye shall walk in the fullness of the things that the Lord has spoken. Even greater things than He hath revealed unto thee shall come to pass. Though thy heart shall delight in the days that are just before thee, behold how step by step, from day to day in this season so many things have been wrought on thy behalf, O house of the Lord.

If the battle seems a little grievous on some point, in this point, too, shalt thou be victorious. In this area, too, shalt thou prevail. Thou shalt not look and say, “Behold, I have won so many battles; I have lost also so many.” Say, “Behold, I am more than a conqueror.” Thou shalt bless the Lord thy God that made thee a winner, made thee one to prevail in the day of battle. Not by thy might nor by thy strength, but by His power and by His Spirit, saith the Lord that cometh unto thee. In this shalt thou rejoice; in this shalt thou be glad. Thou shalt not even look to thyself in disfavor and say, “Behold, I have stumbled and I have faltered. My judgment hath erred in many things, and I am nothing.” Yea, thou shalt rejoice in the Lord who taketh that which is naught to bring to naught that which is. Thou shalt rejoice in the Lord that taketh the weak to confound the mighty, the foolish to confound the wise. Thou shalt bless the Lord thy God.
