Destiny

Our desire is to help facilitate the children of God as the Joshua Generation to function in their governmental positions as sons of God. This governmental function is according to our cherubic nature within the Order of Melchizedek.

To function in a governmental sonship position we need our identity as sons to come from the Father. We need a cardiognosis: face to face, heart to heart knowing the desires of the Father’s heart. Governmental sonship is reflecting the Father’s heart .

We need to take our place within the order of Melchizedek as sons within YHVH . We govern within the power of His name, reflecting heaven into the earth as gateways . It is our destiny to rule. God has ensured our relationship with Him by predestining us to sonship.

Eph 1:4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, we exist holy and blameless before Him in love.

Our destiny includes the mandate for the governmental aspect of sonship. The sons of God have governmental positions of authority. The sons of God have roles to play within God’s kingdom purposes. As sons we have responsibility for Kingdom ruling, reigning, legislating and representing the 4 faces of God through our cherubic nature roles of Lord, King, Son, Scribe, Oracle, Legislator, Judge, Chancellor etc.

Gen 1:26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule… 28 ”God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Rom 8:16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ… 19 For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. 21 that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.

John 5:19 …“Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner. We have a destiny to fulfil that involves us knowing what the Father is doing.

Luke 2:49 Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?” or ‘in the things of my Father’

The intimacy of knowing our Father and discovering our sonship inevitably leads us to know what the Father is doing and want to be involved in the family business.

Responsibility flows from relationship. Many people fear responsibility because of lack of relationship and a wrong fear of God. Fear of the angry God who needs appeasement paralyses people from taking responsibility as sons. Fear of getting things wrong stops the children of God functioning governmentally as sons. Old covenant thinking. Fear of reprisals. Fear of responsibility. Fear of failure. Perfect love casts out all kinds of fear.

Responsibility has two meanings: the state or fact of having a duty to deal with something or of having control over something. Synonyms: authority, control, power, leadership, management, influence.

The state or fact of being accountable or to blame for something. Synonyms: blame, fault, guilt, culpability, liability.

Without relationship and identity, responsibility brings fear. Jesus undid what Adam did when Adam followed the independent DIY (do it yourself) path.

Rom 5:17 For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

Do you believe that God has expectations of you?

Do you believe you have not fulfilled those expectations through failure and are a disappointment to God?

Do expectations cause you to fear responsibility? Expectation is a strong belief that something will happen or be the case. Does God have high expectations of us?

Are we filled with dread or excitement by that thought? Expectancy is living with a positive outlook or optimistic view .Expectation can lead to obligation and duty, which can lead to legalism. Expectancy leads to seeing opportunity, which brings passion and enthusiasm. Responsibility is not supposed to create expectations and obligations but opportunities. Responsibility is the ability to respond to mandated opportunities. The authority and power to respond.

What are we to respond to?

We are only responsible for any mandate or authorisation given to us by God both individually and as a representative of mankind.

Gen 1:28 God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over… it.” As God’s children, His sons and heirs, we have been given this mandate or authority to rule Sonship has spiritual, mental, emotional and physical aspects. Sons are all made in the image and likeness of God; as sons of God, who is the creator and sustainer of all creation.

Sons have roles to play in creation as co-heirs and co-creators. God is relational and we are being conformed to His image to be relational with Him and each other. God is love, this is His motivation to establish and keep relationship. He reconciles, renews and restores our relationship because of love.

Nothing can separate us from His love. We are royal priests. Our investiture as sons of God has already taken place in the beginning with God and by God.

We have all been invested with identity, destiny, position, inheritance and birthright from before creation.

The firstborn had the right to a double portion inheritance – culture. God is not bound by human culture. He chose Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Gideon, David, Solomon, Deborah, Esther – none of them firstborn .

You have a destiny, and He chooses you!!

God chooses to supersede human culture by design. Everyone has birthright, regardless of gender or position in family. Regardless of worldly measurements .Our design matched with our destiny brings fulfilment, not futility and frustration .1 Cor 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. We will not find and fulfil our destiny by intellectual understanding, by physical strength or strength of will. We will find our destiny in an intimate relationship with our creator. Trusting God and living by His faith not our natural sight. Surrendering to God’s will for our lives. Abdication of self-rule. Sonship has a birthright attached. Birthright is our identity as God’s children. Having a birthright includes having blessing, value, worth, affirmation, acceptance and being loved. This brings fruitfulness, contentment; living loved in the bliss of intimacy. Birthright is associated with being priests and kings, oracles and legislators to be fruitful. Intimacy reveals birthright .Birthright is associated with the precepts of God, His essence and nature: love.

My precepts are the foundation of the beginning, I AM, My eternal nature and character; the fullest expression of who I AM. The foundation of righteousness: the fullest demonstration of love revealed in pure light. My heart revealed. The why of creation.

Sonship has an inheritance. Inheritance has a position. A position brings significance and esteem as heirs. Our position is coheirship; we are Kings, who are rulers, which is a governmental position to occupy. Inheritance is associated with increasing, multiplying and filling. Inheritance is associated with the statutes of God. My statutes are the fullest expression of how I see and perceive everything, My worldview. Heavenly and eternal viewpoint. The lens through which all things from the largest galaxy to the smallest particle are observed. My observation that enables the existence of all things. My mind revealed. The what of creation – God’s consciousness.

Sonship has destiny and purpose. Destiny and purpose release approval, validation, worth, satisfaction and accomplishment as coheirs and cocreators. Destiny is being mandated to overcome and subdue. Destiny is associated with legislation. To legislate we need to be positioned or enthroned. Enthronement is associated with authority, responsibility, accountability and maturity in our position.

Destiny is to bring order ruling through the laws of God – governmental. My laws: the principles that enable all things to exist, that which holds everything together. The divine cogs of all existence, from the relative to the quantum. My voice revealed. The how of creation.

Eph 1:18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened (opened), so that you will know what is the hope of His calling (destiny), what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, We all have a destiny as sons to govern and rule.

Psa 40:7 Then I said, “Behold, I come; In the scroll of the book it is written of me. 8 I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your Law is within my heart.” Letter of decree or commission that carries our destiny and purpose: the pathway to find the provisions for fulfilment Destiny (English Definition): the hidden power believed to control future events; fate.

Destiny has much more positive connotations than fate. While it also refers to the idea of predetermined events, destiny is something we can actively shape and alter. Unlike fate, there is an element of choice in destiny… Fate is that which you cannot change. Destiny, the plan of God for our lives, is not fate; it requires relationship to be outworked.

Jer 29:11 “For I know the plans that I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.” Destiny is God’s desire for us.

The treasure that God has set aside for you and designed you to possess; requires a battle and maturity to attain.

It will enrich your life and bring you fulfilment based on your unique design and will advance the Kingdom of God.

Our destiny, God’s desire for each of His children, is relationship and responsibility. Relationship – intimacy with the presence and person of God. This can take place within our own spirit and the garden of our heart, in the realms of heaven and in eternity. Responsibility of ruling, governing and legislating His kingdom. Yielding and surrendering as living sacrifices to God’s kingdom purposes. Engaging the thrones, courts, councils, assemblies on and within Zion, the mountain of God; the heavenly Jerusalem, angelic realm etc.

Zech 3:7 “Thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘If you will walk in My ways and if you will perform My service, then you will also govern My house and also have charge of My courts, and I will grant you free access among these who are standing here.’” We can’t rule in righteousness without coming from a place of rest and relationship – knowing God as Father so we can know Jesus as Lord and King. We must be priests before we can truly be kings. Love inspires worship or service. I believe God is raising up a generation of sons and daughters who are forerunners like Joshua and Caleb, who knew God’s desires and spied out the land and gave a good report of their inheritance. Are we going to respond to the call to arise as sons of God? Joshua and Caleb as our examples: they had a different spirit because they stayed in God’s presence and knew God’s heart and were not afraid. They then led the next generation to cross over where they had been into their inheritance. We have the same destiny. The Joshua Generation are sons of God. God is calling His sons to come out of the wilderness of our past and present into our heavenly promised land. God is calling His sons to cross over into their supernatural inheritance beyond the veil and rule.

God is calling His sons to come home, back to His heart. We are each a house of God. We are each a mountain, a position of authority. We are each gateways of heaven into the earth. We need a first love relationship to establish the house and the gateways within us to function as a mountain. Our spirit is a mountain, a place of spiritual authority. There is a throne on the mountain. Throne represents the authority – the rule and government of our lives. The seat of rest and government is where the Father begins to father us into sonship when He is enthroned. Depending on who is on the throne or seat of rest in our spirit, we will either be at rest in Him or seeking to meet our own needs in our own strength. The key to being able to fulfil our destinies is to experience living from the place of rest and love. All responsibility must flow from this place of relational rest. Who is on the throne of your life? Who is in charge of your life? With God on the seat of rest, we will find the answers to the questions that, deep down, we are all asking:

Who I am?

Where did I come from?

Why am I here?

What is my purpose?

Will my life mean anything?

When God is on the throne of our lives, the needs of the soul begin to be met.

The inbuilt needs for love, affirmation, approval, significance, provision and protection.

All those things are established relationally, with a flow from inside out not outside in.

Being seated is a picture of rest. In the Old Testament, the priests never sat down. There were no chairs in the earthly tabernacle or in the temple of God because their work was never finished. There was only the mercy seat where God’s presence and glory rested.

Hebrews 10:11 Every priest stands daily ministering and offering time after time the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins; 12 but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God, 13 waiting from that time onward until His enemies be made a footstool for His feet. Jesus sat down because His work is finished.

Hebrews 10:13 … Enemies become a footstool for His feet. God’s desire is that none would perish, and all would come to know Him. His enemies therefore realize they are His children.

Saul became Paul. The place where He can bring His rest – a footstool. John 15:4-5 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.

Gen 1:1 In the beginning God… Perfect relationship: Father, Son and Holy Spirit Love, joy and peace perfectly expressed. This experience transformed my understanding and the outworking of love towards creation.

Jesus as the last Adam came to unveil the destiny of mankind as God’s children to rule. Jesus came to reveal our destiny in sonship by being the true prototype of how a son of God related to the Father. He came only to do the will of Him who sent Him to restore our rule.

John 1:14 Suddenly the invisible, eternal Word takes on visible form – the Incarnation on display in a flesh and blood person as in a mirror! In him, and now confirmed in us! The most accurate tangible display of God’s eternal thought finds expression in human life!

John 1:14 .. The Word became a human being; we are his address; he resides in us! He captivates our gaze! The glory we see there is not a religious replica; he is the authentic begotten son. The glory (that we lost in Adam) returns in fullness! Only grace can communicate truth in such complete context!

John 1:14 In him we discover that we are not here by chance or accident or by the desire of an earthly parent, neither are we the product of a mere physical conception; we exist by the expression of God’s desire to reveal himself in the flesh. His eternal invisible Word, his Spirit-thought, became flesh…

Jer 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.” God is speaking here to Jeremiah, but He has also spoken to each of us. He knew me, and He knew you, before He formed us in the womb. Knowing is a really intimate encounter, not information We can know by hearing Him call our name and responding by following the sound of that call For Jeremiah that was as a prophet to the nations.

What name has He given you?

Who has He called you to be?

What has He appointed you to?

What is your identity, inheritance, birthright?

Your destiny is to rule as a Lord, King and Son in the heavenly realms.

Your destiny is to legislate for the earth to be like heaven.

We existed before we had a physical body. There was a substance to our lives which God desired and thought about when it was still unformed.

Psa 139:16-17 Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; and in Your book (scroll) were all written the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them!’

That scroll was written not only before we were formed but before God created the heavens and the earth.

Understanding who we were then, even as an ‘unformed substance’, will really help us to understand who we are now.

Everything we are called to be now was written then, on our scroll. We get to creatively outwork it as sons.

Heb 10:19 Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, 22 let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith… Steps like Jacob’s ladder leading up to heaven; start thinking about those steps and the open door. Hear the invitation to come up here.

Let those steps form in your imagination and by faith walk up those steps to the door; step through the veil into the kingdom realm .

Jesus is standing in the doorway Present yourself to Jesus, your High Priest, as a living sacrifice Ask Jesus to take you to engage the arc within the tabernacle. Let Him take you by the hand and lead you. Look into His presence Begin to think of His name, YHVH See His 4 faces rotating, morphing Lion, Ox, Eagle, Man Step into His presence, into His name. Let Him reveal your identity and destiny as sons. Your destiny, calling, be unveiled. You may feel drawn out into eternity; engage the ancient path. Step back into time before the arc. Engage the Father’s heart in the eternal now. You may feel cocooned in His heart. Let the Father reveal His true essence of love. Let the Father reveal His heart of love for you. Receive your sonship mandate. You may see yourself as light. Feel the conversation of His heart about you. You may hear His thoughts about you. You may feel who you were always meant to be. Sense your eternal identity and destiny.
