Not only was Jesus’ soul made a sin offering where our sin was transferred to him, but on the cross he took into his body our sicknesses and diseases, can you imagine that.
One “the cross” every disease known to mankind was transferred into his body.
He experienced all of our pains, sufferings, griefs, and sorrows. On the cross.
This is the worst, not even humanly possible, we are talking about the sin of the whole world transferred to him on the cross up until he said it was finished.
The wages of sin is death not eternal conscious torment in hell which would take me a hundred scriptures to teach on that subject.
The church at large has been totally brainwashed on that subject. And not the other extreme either.
Hades is a real place that people go to in the center of the earth who do not know the Lord. And Lord willing I will teach on that subject at a later time.
I am laying a foundation an “Apostolic foundation” for a New Testament Church. So that you will know who you are “in Christ”.
How The Father sees you right now in heaven legally to establish the identity of who you are, and once you find out who you are in heaven.
Then I can show you how to become that on the earth, which is the vital side of redemption which will determine our governmental position in the Kingdom of God.
And it says we, that means you most likely (not YHVH) esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.
God did not forsake him on the cross, he was experiencing what we would have, If YHVH did not legally redeem us on the on the cross when Jesus cried out It is finished!
And Jesus did not die spiritually, which is another false doctrine, which is what “the word of faith movement” believes.
I wrote down some definitions of words in the Hebrew after these two verses of scripture, I think you already know or have experience what it means to be despised and rejected, so I skipped those words.
Isaiah 53:3 He is despised and rejected by men, a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. 4 Surely, He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.
Sorrows (makʾōb) A masculine noun referring to pain, suffering, grief sorrow.
Acquainted (yādaʿ) it means to experience.
Grief (khol-ee’) A masculine noun indicating disease and sickness. It means some kind of illness.
Esteemed (ḥāshab) A verb meaning to think, to reckon, to regard, to consider, to be accounted.
Stricken (nāgaʿ) A verb meaning to strike. The basic importance of this verb is physical contact from one person to another.
Smitten (nākâ) A verb meaning to beat, to strike, to wound.
Afflicted (ʿānâ) A verb indicating to be afflicted, to be oppressed, to be humbled.
Wounded (ḥālal) A verb meaning to pierce. It is talking about being stuck by a spear.
Isaiah 52: 13 Behold, My Servant shall deal wisely and shall prosper; He shall be exalted and extolled and shall stand very high. 14 [For many the Servant of God became an object of horror; many were astonished at Him.] His face and His whole appearance were marred more than any man’s, and His form beyond that of the sons of men—but just as many were astonished at Him, 15 So shall He startle and sprinkle many nations, and kings shall shut their mouths because of Him; for that which has not been told them shall they see, and that which they have not heard shall they consider and understand. [Rom. 15:21.]and what they have not heard, they will understand.
We were nailed to the cross with Him and in Him. Our diseases were part of Him.
When the heart recognizes this, it will be the end of the dominion of disease. For if He was made sick with our sickness, Satan has no legal right to put diseases upon us, and in the name of Jesus, we can free ourselves from Satan’s power.
True, we have mortal bodies, but this mortal body is filled with the life of God.
That what is mortal may be swallowed up of life. —2 Corinthians 5:4
For sin shall not have dominion over you. —Romans 6:14
That is, sin shall not lord it over us. Neither shall disease and pain lord it over us.
We see now that if Satan has lost his dominion, he cannot put disease upon us.
We understand that sickness is spiritual. It is manifested in our physical bodies as a disease. The world sees sickness in our bodies, but God sees sickness in our spirits. God heals us through the Word.
It is the Word that heals our spirits. It is the Word that recreates us. It is the Word that produces faith. It is the Word that unveils to us that we are really new creations in Christ.
It is the Word, then, that brings healing to these sick spirits of ours.
Sickness is a spiritual condition manifested in the physical body.
If He was made sin, and if He put our sin away, we need not be ruled by it.
If He was made sick with our sickness, and if He put our diseases away, we need not be ruled by sickness and disease.
We, with our diseases and sicknesses, were nailed to the cross in Christ.
When we recognize this, we will no longer struggle for faith, righteousness, and holiness because we will know that we were nailed to the cross and died with Him, were buried with Him, suffered with Him, were made alive with Him, were justified with Him, conquered Satan with Him, were raised with Him, and finally were seated with Him. The whole program of that substitutionary sacrifice is made real in us by the Spirit through the Word. All these things are ours now.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. —Ephesians 1:3
