Math17 :1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into a high mountain apart, 2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
The Glory of God inside of Jesus’ spirit encompassed (encircled) his whole being, so that his face shone even greater than Moses’s did when he was exposed to the glory of God, because that glory came from the outside in.
When the Spirit of God came upon people in the Old Covenant it came from the outside in, the Spirit filled their spirit, soul, and body. Therefore, at that moment their spirit was alive to God, but the Spirit would lift off them and then they would change back to just being human.
We see that when the Spirit came upon Saul he changed into another person.
1 Samuel 10:6 Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man.
The word turned is hāp̱aḵ which mean changed. This is what happens when our soul (mind) is transformed, it is called clothing.
The Old Covenant was a visitation culture. Even when the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul as the King of Israel and Saul was filled with jealousy and hated wanting to kill David, when he came into the atmosphere of the school of the Prophets, he threw off his Armor and was changed into a different person, but then when the Spirit lifted off of him again he became the same old Saul totally backslidden no longer walking with God.
1 Samuel 16: 14 But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and a distressing spirit from the Lord troubled him.
1 Samuel 19: 24 And he also stripped off his clothes and prophesied before Samuel in like manner and lay down naked all that day and all that night. Therefore, they say, “Is Saul also among the prophets?”
When the Spirit of the lord departed from Saul being King, he used to be tormented by the evil spirit and would have David play worship music so that Saul would be refreshed and the evil spirit who could not stand that kind of atmosphere would depart.
1 Samuel 16: 23 And so it was, whenever the spirit from God (evil spirit) was upon Saul, that David would take a harp and play it with his hand. Then Saul would become refreshed and well, and the distressing spirit would depart from him.
The Spirit of the Lord would come upon Elijah, and he would outrun a chariot, come upon David and he would leap a wall, come upon Samson and he would kill a 1,000 Philistines.
What we need to learn how to do is to expand our spirit, so that it encircles our entire being, and then we will be clothed with the Spirit, it is what the bible calls putting on the new man, it has to do with our soul being conscious of the presence of the Lord.
I do it all the time, and it is like my spirit fills the whole room I am in. Our spirit is a whole lot bigger than being just in our body. Our spirit is dimensional and is seated with Christ in the heavenly places, but for me to be aware of this realm takes me a lot of time of being still and meditation.
There are Asension groups out there, but they usually cost money, and I really never fit in with any of them, I could see a little bit of what they were seeing, but I was never in the Spirit which is a whole different dimension, so I would leave the group and I only have about two people who will send me money so that I can just get my basic needs met and do not want to spend my money on that, because YHWY gives me money through the people so that I don’t have to live in poverty, but I am on the waiting list for energy assistance and housing. When I get housing again then I will be self-supporting. So, pray I get this quickly I do not like asking people for money. And I cannot charge money for my material like other ministries do, because the Lord personally told me not to. But I think I can write books on Kindle for free.
Galatians 3: 27 For as baptized into Christ put on Christ. -literal Greek.
Put on endúō “to enter into, get into,” as into clothes, “to put on. To put on as a garment, to clothe oneself.
We were baptized into Christ when Christ was born in us. The word baptized is the aorist indicative passive. Which means an action that happens in a specific time in the past. Passive voice which means just receiving Jesus as Lord and Savor. We are receiving the action of the Father drawing us to Jesus, saying yes to God and we are born of God experiencing his divine nation.
Put on Christ is the aorist middle, which does not indicate the time of the action which is past but can be repeated. It is the middle voice which means the Holy Spirit is moving us and we yield to him. The middle voice means we are participating or partnering with the Holy Spirit. God moves we move; we move God moves. It is different from the passive voice which is like receiving a gift. The middle voice means we are walking with God being led by the Spirit and sometimes we just must act and then the anointing kicks in.
This is basically walking by the Spirit, we can put on all the divine attributes of God, different aspects of the fruit of the Spirit.
Colossians3: 12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. 14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
We have to learn how to tune into God, we can tune into a certain aspect of the divine nature or fruit of the spirit, and then it will flow from our spirit into our soul, and we will be consciously aware of it, or be clothed with it.
If you do not know how to do this it means that you do not have a walk with God, but that is O.K. If you study under the ministry of Christ in me, you will eventually be able to do this. Because you have been born again and at one point you have experienced the love of God or the joy of God and so on, and once you have that encounter you can experience it again.
God inhabits the praises of his people, so just keep on worshiping God or praising him and you will experience his presence, so you will then know what the manifest presence of the Lord feels like. And then you can learn how to practice the presence of the Lord. He is always with us but sometimes we do not feel him, but when we are clothed with the Spirit, we can feel him and hear him speaking to us.
I teach experimental Christianity, I am not to concerned right now with doctrines, because most Christians live on the soul level and will want to debate scripture. I do not present a word from God to be debated, you either receive it or you do not. If you do not receive it, do not stop studying under me because I will write or say something you will receive.
What is clothing? Just like in the natural real we are wearing something, so in the spirit realm we are also wearing something. In the realm of the spirit, we are emanating light, whether it is a dark light or a bright light. We are emanating sound, color, and smell.
So, our clothing is what we are manifesting, it has to do with our soul. Our soul is on the outside of our spirit. And our body is on the outside of our soul.
When we are born from above, “Christ, or the kingdom of heaven or God, or eternal life, or the glory” is on the inside of our spirit.
To be the light of the world, the life of Christ on the inside of us must flow through our spirit, soul, and body into the atmosphere of the world. This then becomes what we are manifesting in the spirit realm.
The spirit realm is a different dimension inside of us and all around us. We have angels right next to us in the spirit realm, and sometimes demon’s can enter our soul and body if we are not full of the Spirit which causes a counter force that is more powerful than the enemy and makes him flee from us.
1 John 4: 4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
Ephesians 4: 17 This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, 18 having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart.
The word walk in the Greek is peripateō and figuratively means all our activities, what we are doing, saying, thinking, feeling, our attitudes, it is what we are clothed with.
You see in the realm of the spirit, what we are thinking, is what we are doing. To lust after a woman or a man, is to commit adultery or fornication. To be angry at a person without cause is to commit murder.
When we judge someone on a human level, we automatically become guilty of what we are judging them of, I could go even deeper with this, but most Christians would automatically reject it because of their current belief system.
Ephesians 4: 19 who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. 20 But you have not so learned Christ, 21 if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts.
Put off your former behavior the old man. When we are born again legally our old man was crucified with Christ, but vitally we must put off our former behavior and learn Christ. We must learn how to let Christ live through us.
When you look at the root words of sin in the Greek it means no inheritance. So, for the Christian it means not walking in the divine nature.
Another words you are thinking and behaving like a non-believer or like Paul says are you not carnal and behaving like a mere man or woman and not a new creation in Christ- 1 Corinthians 3:3.
Ephesians 4; 23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
What kind of spirit we have determines what we are thinking. You have to start thinking like Christ by joining your spirit to him so that you are aware of him in your spirit.
When we have a right spirit with God we are thinking like Christ, we are having the mind of Christ and not thinking independently of him.
Colossians3: 9 Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, 10 and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him.
Matthew 17: 1 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; 2 and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.
His clothing is a type of the Glory we are to walk in, this happened before Jesus attained a glorified body.
No one I know including myself has attained this kind of glory where our physical clothing shines, but God has provided for us spiritual clothing. This clothing is the condition of our soul, it can be seen upon our face, it is what we are expressing. Our soul is a garment; it is what we are wearing.
When Jesus saved us, he gave us a brand-new heart. Our heart consists of our soul, and the hidden man of our heart is our spirit.
Our spirit is separated from our blood and runs sort of in the back of our spinal collum but encompasses our entire body and centers in what the Bible calls our belly. It can be located very easily by speaking in tongues, and we desire to speak our native and bilingual or more languages from our spirit and not our soul.
We are either speaking from our soul or our spirit. It is the breath of life, or the power source of our physical existence. When our spirit leaves our physical body, the body dies.
When God made the first Adam he breathed into him the breath of life, which is our spirit. When the life (breath, spirit) entered the body the soul was produced. Our soul houses our spirit, and it is in the same shape as our physical body, it has hands and feet, but the best way to locate our soul is to think of it as our head, it has eyes and ears, it is our self-consciousness.
When Jesus saved us, he gave us a new spirit by virtue of Christ being born in it, and he put His spirit (Holy Spirit) in us as a motivating influence, causing us to pursue after Him, when we learn how to be continually filled with the Holy Spirit.
We received a new understanding, a new love, joy, and peace that we never experienced before. We truly became alive on the inside of our spirit in which Christ was born, and our soul is full of the life of God when we are continually filled with the Spirit. We are a New Creation and no longer of this world.
Even though we were no longer of this world, we were still in it, and it is just a matter of time until our soul gets dirty from contact with this world. Therefore, we have to wash our feet spiritually.
When we were born again, the Christ in us is a baby, we must learn how to talk and how to walk in the spirit, but we also have to learn how to get dressed by putting on Christ which means our soul is also aware of God, we don’t want to be found naked (not manifested Christ in our soul)-not radiating the glory of the Lord.
God has provided for us a covering, it protects us from the enemy, it cleanses us from defilement, and it gives us expression in this world, it is what makes us unique-it is our soul, and it is to be continually filled with the abundant eternal life of God.
Eph 4: 17 This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind.
We are not of this world, in fact we are the light of this world, and we should be glowing with the love, joy, peace and holiness of God. We must learn how to think like a new creation, so we must put on the mind of Christ. We can no longer enjoy the things of this world, without God being the center of it. So, we must learn how to put God first and then he will add all the things that the gentiles seek after.
Eph 4: 18 having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart.
The entrance of God’s word into our spirit, quickening it made it alive with the life of God in Christ, flowing into the area of our soul giving us a new understanding.
The reason non-believers don’t know the Lord is because they don’t have the capacity to understand God’s word because they do not come to Jesus having Christ born in their spirit-through deception they believe their happiness depends upon something other than Him.
Ephesians 4:19 who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
Jesus said forbid not the little children to come unto me for such is the kingdom. If the parents of Children were filled with all the fullness of God and trained, discipled their babies in the way of the Lord, not one single child would depart from it when he went on his own, Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly.
If we do not know how to walk with the Lord, when a human grows up in their pursuit of happiness, they give themselves over to the power of something other than the Spirit of Life and their heart gets hard where the word of God cannot penetrate it.
Ephesians 4: 20 But you have not so learned Christ, 21 if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus:
Everything concerning life centers in Jesus, to seek anything other than first Him ends in death.
Ephesians 4: 22 that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts,
Any area of our life (soul) especially that which is addictive, that is not in submission to His Lordship must be cast off once and for all or it will become attached to our soul and become a part of our garment. Abiding in Christ sets us free.
1corn 6 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.12 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. 13 Foods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but God will destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
Anything that gets control over our will has to be renounced because it has become an idol- a soul tie. Pain is involved in its removal and once we are free, we can never go back to it.
EPHESIANS 4:23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
To be clothed with the spiritual clothing the Lord has provided for our soul, we first must activate our spirit. Our spirit must be drawing from the spirit of the Lord, so that our soul becomes conscious of His life flow.
EPHESIANS 4:24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
Once our soul is cleansed from any defilement (because of soul-ties to the things of this world), through the process of sanctification which is death, burial, and resurrection into the Christ life. Then we can stir up the gift of God-activate our spirit, enter the secret place of true intimacy with God, and receive revelation from the Spirit of God what the Lord wants us to wear.
A garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, a garment of intercession to receive a breakthrough for others, they are all a part of one garment-the Lord Jesus Christ. To put on the new man is to manifest the divine nature through our soul being continually filled with the life of God!
Rom13: 11 and that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now, is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
For the early church their salvation was escaping from the destruction of Jerusalem.
Our salvation is threefold, spirit, soul, and body. To receive a glorified body, our soul must be saved or in a state of sanctification. That is why it is high time to awake out of sleep; there are areas of our soul that are dead to God.
What I currently believe is that not every Christian receives a glorified body like Jesus, they may die and have a spiritual body in heaven, but a glorified body gives us the ability to live in the natural plane of an earth that has been loosed from futility, and also in heaven. My belief system is continually changing because I have a teachable spirit, and the Holy Spirit corrects me or gives me scriptures to confirm what I believe.
There are levels in God we have not yet attained. Repentance, worship, and waiting on the Lord are essential, in appropriating more of the Spirit into our lives.
Every day is a day we should be progressing in our walk with God. We should be grateful for the level we have attained but dissatisfied that we are not yet walking in total salvation-Enoch walked with God and was translated.
Rom13: 12 The night is far spent; the day is at hand. Therefore, let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.
This means we are clothed with light. We are coming to the end of one age and the beginning of another; we need to let the Lord search our heart to expose any darkness. Only when our heart does not condemn us do we have boldness, the light of God is our protection against deception. It is in His light that we see.
Rom13: 13 Let us walk properly (honestly), as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.
To walk honestly in the light is the new creation, faith working by love, our soul in perfect harmony with His Spirit, walking in who we are called to be. Not in lewdness (the word means sexual immorality or sleep) and lust, not in strife and envy.
Rom13: 14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
To put on the Lord Jesus Christ, is to walk in the spirit, to clothe ourselves with the Attributes of God, it is being in a state of sanctification, where we are being led by His Spirit.
To put on the Lord is to is to tune in to what he wants us to be for us and manifest his nature in all that we do and say.
