Inherit thy blessings

This is a day of victory unto the people of the Lord, and not a day of terror. Thy heart shall not fail thee for fear for looking after the things that shall come to pass upon the earth, for the Lord God is thy refuge. You are not children of the night that you should dwell in terror, but thou art children of the day that you should sing and rejoice in that which the Lord bringeth forth. Doth He not say unto thee, “Fear not little flock, for it is the Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom”? Therefore, reach out on the right hand and on the left, and inherit thy blessings, O House of the Lord; inherit the things that God hath prepared for thee to walk in. Rejoice together for it is a day of victory unto the people of the Lord, and not a day of calamity.

Who is she that cometh up out of the wilderness, leaning on the arm of her beloved? Behold, she shall come with tambourines as Miriam of old; she shall sing in the shores of the wilderness because the Lord hath brought her forth; she shall rejoice because the Lord hath brought her into a day of victory, into a day in which the Lord hath delighted in His people and brought them into one, and caused them to rejoice together with singleness of heart. Art thou not the household of the Lord? Art thou not the sheep of His pastures? Behold, art thou not the children of His table that you should delight yourself continually in the things of thy God?

Is it not a time that the Lord would enlighten the eyes of His people that they should know that no longer are they prisoners in the prison house. If they only open their eyes to see: behold, the door has been opened and there is no more imprisonment to them. Behold, they pace in the cell not knowing that they are really free men; they have no song because they do not lift up their hearts to see that a day dawneth in which the Lord bringeth deliverance unto His people. Is it not a time to sing and rejoice before the Lord to establish your hearts in faith? Behold, there are those that looketh upon the day that cometh with fear and trembling, but it shall not be so with thee; for thou shalt know that even as thou art going forward, wherever the sole of thy foot treadeth, by the commandment and by the promise of the Lord, it hath been reserved for thee. Lift up your hearts and sing, O ye people, and possess your possessions; arise out of the dust and sit upon thy throne, put on thy beautiful garments, O Zion, and let Zion sing for joy and say, “Oh, my God reigneth.” Amen.
