Becoming the Joshua Generation. The Joshua Generation are sons of God. God is calling His sons to come out of the wilderness. God is calling His sons to cross over into their supernatural inheritance beyond the veil. God is calling His sons to come home.
Ephesians 1:3-11 Let’s celebrate God! He lavished every blessing heaven has upon us in Christ! 4 He associated us in Christ before the fall of the world! Jesus is God’s mind made up about us! He always knew in his love that he would present us again face-to-face before him in blameless innocence.
Ephesians 1:4 God found us in Christ before he lost us in Adam! We are presented in blameless innocence before him! 5 He is the architect of our design; his heart dream realized our coming of age in Christ. 6 His grace-plan is to be celebrated: he greatly endeared us and highly favored us in Christ. His love for his Son is his love for us.
Ephesians 1:7 Since we are (fully represented) in him, his blood is the ransom that secures our redemption. His forgiving our sins measures the wealth of his grace. 8 This grace shown towards us communicates a wisdom and discernment of our worth that completely surpasses any definition.
Ephesians 1:9 The secret is out! His cherished love dream now unfolds in front of our very eyes. In the economy of the fullness of time, everything culminates in Christ. All that is in heaven and all that is on earth is reconciled in him. 11 This is how we fit into God’s picture: Christ is the measure of our portion, we are in him, invented and defined in him. God’s blueprint intention is on exhibition in us. Everything he accomplishes is inspired by the energy and intent of his affection.
Ephesians 1:14 The Holy Spirit is our tangible link to the inheritance that was ransomed and preserved for us. God’s glorious plan for mankind is the theme of our celebration.
Ephesians 1:17 I desire that you will draw directly from the source; that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory ignites the spirit of wisdom and of revelation in you in the unveiling of his Master Plan. I desire that you know by revelation what he has known about you all along!
Ephesians 1:18 I pray that your thoughts will be flooded with light and inspired insight; that you will clearly picture his intent in identifying you in him so that you may know how precious you are to him. The saints are his treasure and the glorious trophy of his portion! (We are God’s assets and the measure of his wealth!).
Ephesians 1:19 I pray that you will understand beyond all comparison the magnitude of his mighty power at work in us who believe. Faith reveals how enormously advantaged we are in Christ.
Ephesians 1:20 It is the same dynamic energy that he unleashed in Christ when he raised him from the dead and forever established him in the power of his own right hand in the realm of the heavens. 21 Infinitely above all the combined forces of rule, authority, dominion or governments; he is ranked superior to any name that could ever be given to anyone of this age or any age still to come in the eternal future.
Ephesians 1:22 I want you to see this: he subjected all these powers under his feet. He towers head and shoulders above everything. He is the head; the church is his body. The completeness of his being that fills all in all resides in us! God cannot make himself more visible or exhibit himself more accurately.
The word, Ekklesia, comes from Ek, a preposition always denoting origin, and from kaleo, to identify by name, to surname; thus the “church” is God’s redeemed image and likeness in human form. The Ecclesia is a gathering of sons around a heavenly blueprint.
Romans 5:1 Concluding then that our righteousness has absolutely nothing to do with our ability to keep moral laws but that it is the immediate result of what Jesus accomplished on mankind’s behalf, gives context to God’s faith and finds expression in unhindered, face to face friendship with God! Jesus Christ is the head of this union!
Romans 5:2 Jesus is God’s grace embrace of the entire human race. So here we are, standing tall in the joyful bliss of our redeemed innocence! We are God’s dream come true! This was God’s idea all along!
Romans 5:6 God’s timing was absolutely perfect; humanity was at their weakest when Christ died their death. (We were bankrupt in our efforts to save ourselves.)
Romans 5:8 Herein is the extremity of God’s love gift: mankind was rotten to the core when Christ died their death. 9 If God could love us that much when we were ungodly and guilty, how much more are we free to realize his love now that we are declared innocent by his blood?
Romans 5:10 Our hostility and indifference towards God did not reduce his love for us; he saw equal value in us when he exchanged the life of his son for ours. Now that the act of reconciliation is complete, his life in us saves us from the gutter most to the uttermost.
Reconciliation, from katalasso, meaning a mutual exchange of equal value. Thayer Definition: to exchange, as coins for others of equivalent value. We are equal redemption value as Jesus that is how much the Father loves us.
As sons we are of equal value to the Father as Jesus. The Father exchanged Jesus to reconcile and redeem us back into the intimacy of face-to-face relationship. We are declared innocent by His blood no DIY religious efforts required.
As sons we have face to face relationship. Where is God? In the heavens and in our spirits. We can relate to God who is Father, Son and Spirit in the spiritual dimensions both within and in heaven.
Becoming the Joshua Generation. Open heaven well known and used term. Heaven invading earth. The Call for revival. One way traffic. God does send His presence, the angelic, cloud of witnesses, 7 spirits of God but: He has opened heaven so we can enter beyond the veil and engage Him there.
Enoch, Jacob, Moses, Joshua, 70 Elders, Elijah, Jesus, Paul, John.
Heb 6:19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil, 20 where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.
Heb 10:19 Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith.
Heb 12:18 For you have not come to a mountain that can be touched and to a blazing fire, and to darkness and gloom and whirlwind. Heb 12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels.
Heb 12:23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, 24 and to Jesus, the mediator of a New Covenant.
Evangelicalism has a 500-year-old history of making Christianity mainly a rational and theological understanding about God, rather than an actual ongoing personal, experiential encounter with Him. A living encounter with the living God beats a theology about Him any day.
Mystic or mystical. Ecstatic, ecstasy – negative – why? Euphoric, blissful, joyous, elated. Trances, visions, out of body experiences – suspicion. We must not try to induce trances etc. by using techniques. We can be open to biblical experiences by seeking God.
Mystic Mystical is difficult for many. Webster defines it as “the belief that direct knowledge of God, spiritual truth, or ultimate reality can be attained through subjective experience (as intuition or insight.)” You can trust My voice in your heart more than you can trust the reasoned theology of your mind.
Mystic Mystical. A person who tries to gain religious or spiritual knowledge through prayer and deep thought. A person who claims to attain, or believes in the possibility of attaining, insight into mysteries transcending ordinary human knowledge, as by direct communication with God.
A mystic is someone who has a direct experience of God. Many mystics are broad-thinking, intelligent and have a good grasp of the concepts of infinity and transcendence. I include myself in that category.
Please just let your spirit resonate with what connects with you. You may have no idea of the meaning of some of the things I share, but that is OK. Don’t operate with an evangelical spirit offended by what it doesn’t understand, seeking to disprove. Allow your spirit to resonate even if you don’t understand.
