Joy

Rom 14:17 -The kingdom of God is righteousness, joy and peace in the Holy Spirit. The kingdom of God is a spiritual dimension inside of us, and all around us, but it is invisible to the natural eye.

Jesus said my kingdom is not of this world, but that kingdom flowed through him out into the world in a demonstration of miracles, signs and wonders. He was a doorway for heaven to flow into the earth.

Within our spirit is a door, an entrance into the kingdom of God, but also an entrance for the life of God to flow through us out into the atmosphere of the world.

The life of God permeates the kingdom of God; the very atmosphere of heaven is filled with joy. But joy is also a fruit of our spirit in communion with God’s. Part of the very divine nature of God is the joy of the Lord. And Jesus wants his joy in us, that our joy might be full. It is the result of us abiding in the vine; we can learn how to tap into that joy so that it begins to flow through us like a river.

The first thing that we need to realize is that the Lord is delighted in us. It is one thing to know it intellectually, but it is another thing to fully experience it in our heart.

God chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world, he predestined us to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ, and this takes place through a process called transformation. Transformation is a change of life form, where a caterpillar turns into a butterfly, and a tadpole turns into a frog.

A caterpillar has to live on the land, but a butterfly learns how to fly. A tadpole can only live in the water, but when it becomes a frog it can live in dual realms, it can live in the water, but it can also live on the land.

Being in Christ gives us the ability to also live in dual realms; we can continually experience the joy of heaven, while living here on earth, because through the process of transformation we learn how to live by another life source.

So the first thing we have to experience is the thoughts of God about us flowing into us, because if we do not see ourselves the way that God sees us, it will block the flow of His Spirit into our thoughts and feelings.

We are the beloved of God. Math 3:17- and there came a voice from heaven: this is my beloved son. I take delight in him!-HCSB interlinear bible.

The word beloved in the Greek is agapētos the root of the word is from- agapaō – and the root of that word is from agan-much or ʿāgab- to breath after, to love sensually.

We are in Christ, the way the Father see’s the son is the way he see’s us because we are in him. Our spirit is one with His. The D.N.A of God is in our spirit. The incorruptible seed of God is in our spirit; within that seed is a full grown manifested son of God that we will transform into as we learn how to allow his life to flow through us.

The Father sees nothing wrong with us, only what we are changing into, and as we begin to see the image that the Father sees in us we are changed into that image. Our growth in God is a growing awareness of His Spirit in us.

We are the beloved of God, much loved. God breathes after us, we are the bride of Christ, and God loves us like the perfect husband loves the perfect wife.

Part of the transformation process is experiencing the four chambers of our heart, the garden, the dance floor, the soaking room and the bridal chamber which we can begin to experience now and enter into a marriage covenant where we become the wife of the Lord.

The Song of Songs describes the intimacy that we can begin to experience with the Lord; we have to learn how to open our heart to him and begin to experience his delight in us.

We have to know that God is delighted in us. If we can understand the concept of God being delighted in us with our mind, then the Holy Spirit can translate that into an experience and an encounter with him.

Our problem is being self-conscious apart from God. If we have all these negative thoughts about ourselves coming into our mind we are not going to experience God.

If we are focused upon what we are not, then we will not experience God’s delight in us. All change comes from exposure to God. When Moses went up on the mountain and saw God face to face, the countenance of his face changed. As we behold his glory we are changed into the same image. We are transformed by the renewing of our mind. What is stopping our transformation-our mind, what we think.

The word repent- means to change the way we think. So we accept the concept in our mind that God delights in us, and then we ask God to grants us repentance. The word repent in the Greek comes from two words (meta) in association with and (noieo) thoughts coming into the consciousness. It is in the joining of our spirit with His so that his thoughts flow into our mind.

God delights in us, and as we learn how to practice his presence we will experience his joy, and his joy will open the door for his thoughts about us to enter our mind. He has this vast some of thoughts about us in his heart, that we have to learn how to tune into.

Every time that God talks to us, He is inviting us into an experience with Him or an encounter with him. The voice of the Lord imparts the Spirit of the Lord. Jesus said these words I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and your joy may be full. Every time God talks to us we can have an encounter with His joy, we can have an experience of it.

As we learn how to hear God’s voice, when he speaks to us, we can feel His happiness in that moment of connection; these are real and tangible things.

The life of God flows out of heaven into our spirit and then into our mind as spontaneous thoughts, into our emotions as feelings, into our imagination as pictures.

In order to learn how to hear God’s voice as spontaneous thoughts in our mind, we first have to learn how to feel him.

Becoming aware of the presence of the Lord is the key in learning how to communicate with him. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. Everything starts with just being aware of a little bit of the presence of the Lord. God is Spirit and in order to communicate with him we have to enter into his realm, the realm of the spirit.

Because his nature permeates the realm of his Spirit, if we can learn how to start to sense his love, his peace, his joy, if we can start to feel, and learn how to get it flowing then we can begin to transition into that realm where we can have conversations with the Lord.

Because our spirit is alive to God we have all experienced the presence of the Lord. Our spirit is the part of us that is conscious of God.

Joy is who God is; it is a part of His nature. Because he lives inside of us, we can expect to experience the joy of the lord every day of our lives.

Joy is a fruit of the spirit, it is something that can grow and expand in our life.In the spirit we have the power and the anointing to make everything in life delightful. Delight is a mindset, it is an attitude of heart, and it is how we are to approach to life.

In the presence of the Lord there is fullness of Joy. He is the happiest person we will ever meet. So When God comes into a place, He fills it with Himself.

So when we open our spirit to the lord, he comes into us. When God comes in, his expectancy is to fill every part of our live and every part of our being with himself and he is joy.

If God is living in us then we are never separated from joy. Joy is an eternal thing; everlasting joy will be upon our heads.

So what we have to learn how to do is to delight ourselves in the Lord, because he delights in us.  Delight is about enjoyment, it is about pleasure, it is about joy and gladness.

In heaven God has a garden, it is called Eden. The word Eden means pleasure. It is our job to plant the heavens on the earth.

So In the Holy Spirit we can make even the smallest things in life a delight. When God created the earth he put many, many delightful things in it. The whole earth is full of his glory. We just have to learn how to see it, it is everywhere.

So what we have to learn how to do, is to make even the smallest things in life a delight, to take pleasure in everything, take pleasure in everyone, and learn to see the good and learn to see the joy and learn to see the pleasure because this will begin to enlarge us on the inside.

So we need to learn how to practice joy, how to rejoice all the time, joy should be consistently flowing into and out of our lives. Our spirituality is determined by how much of the fruit of the Spirit is continually manifested in our lives.

To practice our delight, the first thing we have to do is to turn all our delight onto Jesus. We focus on him, and make every connection with Him a delight. We need to have a sense of awe and wonder because we know the Lord.

When we learn how to start practicing the joy of the lord we create an atmosphere of joy around our lives, and this attracts all of heaven to us. Amazing things begin to happen when we learn how to live in the joy of the Lord.
