Living sacrifice 2

Heaven is always open. Jesus is always waiting for us to engage consciously. Our spirit can dwell continually in the heavenlies so we can live simultaneously in dual realms. Practice shifting the focus of our conscious mind to join our spirit.

Think about Jesus and the open door. By faith step in through the veil and engage Jesus if not already there. By faith engage Jesus with your spirit at the door. By faith engage Jesus with your conscious mind.

Jesus is always waiting by the open door to engage us. Present yourself to Jesus your High Priest as a living sacrifice. Your spirit is connected to Jesus. Consciously choose to shift your consciousness to the earth realm so step out with your soul.

Keep your eyes closed. Jesus is going to speak to your spirit, but you are going instantly receive the flow of revelation here. Shift back with your soul’s consciousness by thinking of Jesus in the open door and repeat by shifting your consciousness from realm to realm.

Being a Living Sacrifices it is the preparation for intimate relationship and the resultant transformation that brings so we mature as sons of God.  We will discover places of fire and learn to engage the fire of God’s loving presence for heavenly transformation.

Rom 12:1 Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

I began to meditate on being a living sacrifice and engaged the Father to seek revelation from Him directly about what it means and why it is so important. The following statements about being a living sacrifice came from those conversations with Father.

Being a living sacrifice is living a resurrected life. We are not dead sacrifices because we have been co-crucified, co-resurrected and co-ascended with Jesus. Now we have a new life it is not to be lived selfishly for ourselves but for God and creation.

Purpose of being a sacrifice is true worship (obeisance) choosing to fulfil His will which is our agreed destiny. Jesus was the ultimate and perfect example of being a living sacrifice by choosing daily to only do what He saw the Father doing in the intimacy of a dual realms loving relationship.

Being a living sacrifice is living in a metamorphic process of continually being transformed and conformed to God’s original intent for our sonship.

Rom 12:1 Live consistent with who you really are, inspired by the loving kindness of God. My brothers, the most practical expression of worship is to make your bodies available to him as a living sacrifice; this pleases him more than any religious routine. He desires to find visible, individual expression in your person.

Rom 12:2 Do not allow current religious tradition to mould you into its pattern of reasoning. Like an inspired artist, give attention to the detail of God’s desire to find expression in you. Become acquainted with perfection. To accommodate yourself to the delight and good pleasure of him will transform your thoughts afresh from within.

The word, aion, is traditionally translated as “do not be conformed to this world.” Actually, aion points to a period of time of specific influence. In the context of this writing, Paul refers to the religious traditional influence of his day. The word euarestos, comes from eu, praiseworthy, well done + arestos, meaning to accommodate one’s self to the opinions, desires, and interests of others.)

Rom 12:1 spiritual service of worship. Rom 12:2 so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. It is important unpack these phrases if we our going to embrace being living sacrifices and being transformed.

Spiritual service of worship? We are spirit so this is what we were created for worship in spirit and truth. Service = worship = will of God. Worship is to serve God’s eternal purpose which is His will. His will is my eternal destiny. Who am I? What am I? Why am I?

Prove is to recognize as genuine, approved, worthy – value.  Good is useful, agreeable, joyful, excellent, honorable – esteem. Acceptable is well pleasing, prosper, agreeable – significance. Perfect is complete, finished, mature with integrity and virtue – worth.

Will is command, precepts, desire, intention, purpose, wish, delight or pleasure, choice, determined outcome – purpose. Who are you? your true identity is found only in a restored Father son relationship. Knowing our destiny agreed before creation will release our full potential.

Purpose of transformation is to know God in relationship & therefore to know ourselves and His perfect will for our lives. Our destiny is revealed to us in an intimate relationship – knowing God. To know in Greek & Hebrew is only by personal experience not intellectual head knowledge or information.

1 Cor 6:17 he who is joined or united with God becomes one spirit with Him. In 1 Cor 6:15-16 it is compared with becoming one flesh in sexual union. Serious level of experiential intimacy. He is holding nothing back are we? We can’t separate relationship from rulership so we serve from and not for relationship.

Psa 139:16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them. John 4:34 Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to accomplish His work.

Rom 8:29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son. Not conformed to the world’s shape but be conformed to our eternal image. Rom 8:19 For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God.

We need to understand where we come from so that we can understand why we are here today.  That will lead us to where we are going tomorrow.  This is how our destiny gets outworked, one day at a time: by daily seeking first the kingdom.

We need to understand the nature of our creator and our own creation.  Who created me, why and how did He create me?  All these questions will help us understand our identity and destiny as a coheir and co-creator.

God is eternal. It may seem really obvious to say it, but it is important to engage our destiny in Him. He has always been, He is, and He will always be. He is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent . Being a living sacrifice is being yielded to our eternal destiny relationally.

He is light (1 John 1:5). He is love (1 John 4:16). He is spirit (John 4:24). If we meditate on this truth we will begin to engage with who God is.  If we know Him, if we have that intimate relationship with Him, it will help us understand the reality of our identity and destiny.

Jer 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.”  ‘I knew you’ – Here is a key statement about who we are. If we know Him we will know ourselves.

God was speaking to Jeremiah, but He is also always speaking to each of us.  He knew me, and He knew you, before He formed us in the womb.  Knowing is not intellectual exercise but an experiential intimate encounter.

We existed even before we were in the womb, since God knew us then as desires in His heartGod did not just have some vague thoughts about us but a vast sum of intimate thoughts that created us. Intimacy is two-way, so actually, we knew Him too as spirit beings.

He consecrated us and set us apart because He had a purpose for our lives which was relationship and a destiny He knew, and we knew.  It is part of our very being. He has appointed each of us to a particular role, task and position in sonship

For Jeremiah his destiny was as a prophet to the nations. Who has He called you to be? What has He appointed you to?  What has He called you to do?  Where is He calling you to be?

The good news is, you can know through relationship. God knew you, before you were even a physical being, and He wants you to know Him and come into agreement with Him again. You can ask Him, and He will begin to reveal it to you relationally.

1 Cor 15:48-49 As is the earthy, so also are those who are earthy; and as is the heavenly, so also are those who are heavenly. Just as we have borne the image of the earthy, we will also bear the image of the heavenly.  We need to be conformed on earth to that heavenly image as living sacrifices.

Just as we were born in an earthly body, we have been born from above and our spirit is active and alive to God.  So we now bear the image of the heavenly that is who we were before our earthly body and physical life.

If we are to be royal priests we must be of the order of Melchizedek no genealogy. We are new creations of the lineage of the last Adam not the first Adam and we need to be conformed to that image through being living sacrifices.

We need to be bearing the image of who we are in the heavenlies and outworking the things that are going on there here on the earth.  God has opened up the door for us to engage with the heavenly realms, so that we can be, see and reflect what is going on.

Psa 139:16-17 Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; and in Your book (scroll) were all written the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them!’

God’s plan is for us to enjoy peace and wholeness; His plan is to prosper us to see us succeed.  He gives us a hope by giving us a vision of our destiny.  Do we know who we agreed to be?  • Do we know what we agreed to do?

Contrary to some teaching we did not agree with the bad and traumatic things that may have happened in our lives. God’s plan is for our good not harm for us to succeed not fail. Trauma was not part of God’s plan but restoration and healing is.

Do we know our name? That may sound like a strange question, but God has a name for us which is our true name.  It encompasses our identity and position, all we are as sons and all He intends us to become.

It is a heavenly name which is assigned to us in accordance with our destiny. It is the name that is on our thrones, and in our scroll. It is a name that can only be discovered in relationship with our heavenly Father.

When I saw my name, I knew it was me. It will be the same for you, because your spirit will leap in recognition, just as John leapt in Elizabeth’s womb when he sensed Jesus in Mary’s womb.  That is what happens when aspects of our destiny start to take place around us. Things start to move us and our spirit begins to leap.

That scroll was written not only before we were formed, but before God created the heavens and the earth.   Understanding who we were then, even as an ‘unformed substance’, will really help us to understand who we are nowEverything we are called to be now was written then, on our scroll.

Sometimes we will find that we have done the things that are written on it, even though we might have never read itThat will happen because our destiny is inherently tied up with who we areWhen we choose to line up with the purposes of God, and seek to be guided by Him the fulfilment our destiny will begin to unfold more consciously.

We pre-existed not in cold storage within God until he defrosted us and sent us within this earthly body. We observed creation and participated in it and had a spiritual function before this physical dimension. When I saw creation I remembered.

How precious are Your thoughts. Psalm 139 tells us that God has many thoughts about us, because He knows us intimately.  We need to get hold of those thoughts, because they will transform how we think about ourselves. It cannot be anything but life-changing for us to know how God thinks about us.

I guarantee that not one of us thinks about ourselves 100% the way God does. But the more we allow God’s thoughts toward us to affect the way we think about ourselves, the more transformation we will see in our lives, and the more we will become like JesusWe will do the things He did, and the greater things we are called to do.

The thoughts of God toward us today are totally in tune with what was written on our scroll before the foundation of the world and what we agreed to for this realm. But destiny is not fate. We have a choice, to agree with God and pursue it, or not.

We already agreed with Him when our scroll was revealed.  If we choose to agree with Him now, it is essential for us to get hold of His thoughts toward us and to know progressively what is written on our scroll.

Engage the scroll room of heaven and read what we our allowed to. Engage the fire stones and absorb it. Engage the heart of God in eternity the womb you were created in. Let the vast sum of His thoughts envelope you . Engage the court of the Lord.

We are under an open heaven so begin thinking about being with Jesus through the open door. Shift your conscious focus to engage with Jesus

Jesus is waiting by the open door to engage us. •Present yourself to Jesus your High Priest as a living sacrifice. Set the desire of your heart on your destiny scroll and the vast sum of His thoughts about you.

Ask Jesus to take you to engage a deeper revelation and experience of your eternal identity in God’s heart. Let Him take you by the hand and lead you back to the heart of God.

You may feel cocooned in His heart. Let the Father reveal His true essence of love. Let the Father reveal His heart of love for you.

Feel the conversation of His heart about you. You may hear His thoughts about you. You may feel who you were always meant to be. Sense your eternal identity and destiny.

The Father wants to reveal a deeper revelation of His names to you as a son. Be enveloped in the trinity.
