Isa 42:9 “Behold, the former things have come to pass, Now I declare new things; Before they spring forth, I proclaim them to you.” God has never changed but if we engage Him intimately, He will reveal Himself continually in new surprising and sometimes shocking ways
The new relational ways that God is revealing are in contrast to the old religious ways we have assumed and presumed to be true. The new ways are characterized by knowing reality through firsthand supernatural spiritual encounters beyond the veil not through secondhand theoretical information
When we experience face to face the true reality of who God is Father, Son and Spirit false doctrines and theologies about Him will get exposed as lies, distortions and misrepresentations. Jesus is the truth the exact representation of the Father, “if you have seen Me, you have seen the Father”
2 Cor 10:5 … The dynamic of our strategy is revealed in God’s ability to disengage mindsets and perceptions that have held people captive in pseudo fortresses for centuries! 6 Every lofty idea and argument positioned against the knowledge of God is cast down and exposed to be a mere invention of our own imagination.
Some doctrines we are going to reexamine in the light of new face to face experiential truth. Original Sin – I am not. Eternal Judgement, Hell, Punishment, Eternal Conscious Torment, Separation or Inclusion? Is death the end?
The full deepest truth that God is love is often called heretical by the religious institution because of warped theological images. Definition of a heretic… Happy Enlightened Righteous Exploring Truth in Christ.
Do these theological issues make any practical differences to us? Do these doctrines have any real influence on how I live my daily life? Does it really matter how I see God? Does it matter to a hopeless world? The answer to all is yes but we don’t always realize just how much
A warped view of God brings a negative focus on sin and negative evangelism. It presents sin as wrong behaviors or disobedience towards God rather than a what is really means the loss of identity. Disobedience is not breaking the rules but is unbelief which is not believing the truth about God and yourself and therefore living a DIY (do it yourself) independent life.
Obedience is therefore not about following a set of rules or laws but is a relationship where we can hear God’s voice and live according to our scroll and follow our destiny. Heb 10:7 “Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come (In the scroll of the book it is written of Me) To do Your will, O God.’”
Gal 4:7 Can you see how foolish it would be for a son to continue to live his life with a slave mentality? Your sonship qualifies you to immediately participate in all the wealth of God’s inheritance which is yours because of Christ. (Legalism in its every disguise contradicts sonship! Sonship is not for sale!)
Galatians 5:9 It is impossible to hide the effect of the smallest amount of yeast; the process of fermentation is immediately triggered. (A little bit of legalism corrupts a person’s whole life.) Are we still living under the law of our religious systems and mind-sets?
Gal 5:20 (The DIY lifestyle is driven by self-effort and selfishness. A legalistic mind-set, the flesh, sponsors typical behavior that expresses itself in very visible symptoms:) such as idolatry, which is worshipping a distorted image of oneself, drugs, hatred, constant conflict, jealous suspicion, violent outbursts of rage.
Gal 5:20 … everyone for himself in a cutthroat competitive world, trampling on others to get to the top, dissension, heresy, and manipulating people’s minds with false teachings. (The flesh is not your “lower nature;” it is the mind-set of fallen mankind trying to follow the life of their design as witnessed in everyone’s conscience, by sheer willpower, independent of God.)
This DIY (DO IT YOURSELF) life originates from the lies Adam believed about God’s nature. As long as we see God as having a dark side, we will never trust him completely. There will always be a slight fear that contradicts love. That is the enemy’s goal to rob, and destroy our relationship and identity.
The tactic of the accuser is to get us to think wrongly about God and ourselves. God wants us to know the truth of who He is and who we are as His children. Prov 23:7 For as he thinks within himself, so he is. Truth or lies.
Col 1:21 you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind. We are separated and enemies of God only in our own minds not in God’s view. This hostile mind-set makes us think God is against us and we try to hide or make amends through fear
John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. The thief is the liar who is actually our accuser, our enemy and our deceiver.
Our identity is stolen by deception. Gal 1:3… the Lord Jesus Christ, 4 who gave Himself for the sins so that He might rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father. The result of deception is the loss of our true sonship image and results in living in an evil age.
Gal 1:4 Grace and peace have their reference in the fact that Jesus gave himself as the scapegoat for our sins and plucked us out from the evil of this present religious age that encroached on us. This was exactly what the Father had planned in his love for mankind.
Evil (The word, poneros, means full of labors, hardships and annoyances; the fruit of the DIY tree of the knowledge of good and labour “poneros”!) Evil – Hebrew Ra bad, unpleasant, giving pain, unhappiness, misery. Evil is the religious DIY self-effort.
The word sin, is the Greek word Hamatria, from Ha, negative or without and Meros, portion or form, thus, to be without your allotted portion or without form, pointing to a disorientated, distorted, bankrupt identity.
The root of sin is to believe a lie about yourself. The word often translated, lawlessness, anomia, from a, without, and onoma, name; thus without a name; anonymous. Lawlessness is to do your own thing to be anonymous by following our own path that seems right to us but always leads to spiritual death.
Gen 3:8 They heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. God wanted relationship man chose independence.
Jesus is the tree of life and Adam was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. When Adam chose his own independent DIY path he walked anonymously and hid from God through fear and tried DIY ways of identity.
Sin is to live out of context with the blueprint of one’s design; to behave out of tune with God’s original harmony. The sin of Adam was taking the wrong path literally following his own path therefore walking alone anonymously.
The result of following the DIY path of self is not evil as in wicked but in the hard labour of self effort that brings continual unhappiness and misery • Are we still being deceived by the same lies and living from the DIY path anonymously with no identity?
1 John 3:8 Sin’s source is a fallen mindset, from the beginning! For this purpose, the son of God was revealed! His mission was to undo the works of the devil! The word, diabolos, from dia, because of and ballo, to cast down. We are cast down from our image because of wrong beliefs.
2 Cor 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. Are our faces still veiled by the deception and lies about God?
2 Cor 3:18 The days of window-shopping are over! In him every face is unveiled. In gazing with wonder at the blueprint of God displayed in human form, we suddenly realize that we are looking into a mirror, where every feature of his image articulated in Christ is reflected within us! The Spirit of the Lord engineers this radical transformation; we are led from an inferior mind-set to the revealed endorsement of our authentic identity.
1 John 3:9 To discover one’s authentic sonship in God, is to discover true freedom from sin. We are born of him and his seed remains in us; this is the only possible reference to sober up the mind from the intoxicating influence of deception. Enemies’ intention was to kill mankind’s awareness of our god-identity.
The accuser fools us with the lie that we are separated from God which is the origin of lost identity. John 10:10 The thief has no other agenda but to steal, kill and he couldn’t care less if he lost some sheep. I have come with the sole purpose for you to have life in its most complete form.
John 8:44 You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
John 8:44 The diabolos mindset cannot abide the truth. There is no connection with truth – lying is its language; in fact, the diabolos is the father of lies! The word, diabolos is referring to the cast down condition mankind suffered in association with Adam’s fall.
John 8:44 You are the offspring of a fallen mindset, and you desire to prove its diabolic parenthood in your willingness to execute its cravings. This “cast down” mindset is what kills mankind since the beginning – [it violently opposes the idea of the image and likeness of God in human form.]
The strategy employed by our enemy is to deceive us into believing lies about God and therefore ourselves and then live a less than type of life. Less than sons of God with no position and no authority. The cry of an orphan is who am I the cry of a son is here am I.
Man has lost sight of God by taking the DIY path and has therefore developed a DIY view of God this is original sin. Origin of “GOD” as a nameless faceless Omni being is not the nature and character of YHVH but comes from the whisper of evil lies that man has believed and agreed with.
When Adam agreed with the lies about God and then himself, he passed that fallen mindset onto the whole of mankind. The lies are still whispered to us by the familiar spirits that continually promote those falsehoods to our minds.
The agreement in our minds with the evil whisperers become hidden filters in our memory and frame our beliefs. Fruit of those beliefs: Fear, shame, guilt, condemnation, despair, discouragement, worry, anxiety, passivity, angst, depression, dread etc. etc.
We cope with evil beliefs using our DIY religion or some self-help or external self-improvement methods. I can be someone special if I am … part of that group, have more money, am in that position, have a good job or am in that relationship. All material external methods.
Dream of “if only I”… is being sold and it is the lie that mankind has bought. The DIY solutions that we buy become unconscious, automatic mindsets that become our glasses, the lens and filters that construct our false world views about GOD and ourselves.
That means we have created GOD in the image of our own hurt through the whispers of evil lies of the deceiver who is veiling the truth of our identity from us. We need something or someone to believe in, so we invent GOD in line with the lies we have believed.
God becomes a projection and reflection of our own brokenness. GOD is distant fearful impersonal demanding, judgmental unavailable, dismissive, harsh, untrustworthy etc. This becomes a vicious cycle of delusion that we can’t break free from.
The wrong view of God leads us to a wrong view of ourselves and then to living a shallow performance-oriented existence striving to be good enough to be accepted or to self-medicate to cover up. Religion biggest drug of all.
When we listen to the whispers, we will think much less than our true selves? If God is I am then the lies will be the opposite I am not …. What are the I am nots that I believe about myself by agreeing with the lies of the accuser? I am not: what comes to mind?
Wanted, needed, valued, useful, important, confident, adequate, visible, special, worthy, accepted, loveable, good enough, safe, beautiful, I am not there yet. The accuser then confirms the I am nots through life’s circumstances and failures – “I told you so”.
I am is how God sees us, already made in His image. The truth is we are valued by God even when we are yet not perfected or mature. God will redeem even our disasters into good and blessings. Our Father uses our disasters to produce a testimony to help others.
Rom 8:28 Meanwhile we know that the love of God causes everything to mutually contribute to our advantage. God want us to know I am so we can be the mirror image am I like Him. We are created in His image, and He wants to restore that identity.
Jesus lives within our spirit but if we invite Him, He will engage our soul in its brokenness to restore our identity. If we look inside, we will find Jesus is there preparing a coffin for our guilt, shame, condemnation, hurt and pain. Let’s break our agreements with the whisperer’s lies and know the TRUTH.
Jesus begins to reveal Himself in us to work through the mess with us in love. Gal 1:15 But when God, who had set me apart even from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace, was pleased 16 to reveal His Son in me.
Paul took 3 years in the desert to come to accept his experience through cognitive dissonance after he discovered Jesus was already in Him through the resurrection. He had lived his whole life in the deception of external religious observance.
2 Cor 12:3 And I know how such a man— whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, God knows— 4 was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words. God then took Paul into the heavenly realms to reveal even more truth face to face.
Col 1:27 to whom God willed to make known what the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles is, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Christ is in us already not when we invite Him by a sinner’s prayer!
Col 1:27 In us God desires to exhibit the priceless treasure of Christ’s indwelling; every nation will recognize him as in a mirror! The unveiling of Christ in you exceeds your every expectation! (He is not hiding in history, or in outer space nor in the future, neither in the pages of scripture, he is merely mirrored there to be unveiled within you.
Paul received such revelation it took years of unveiling those truths in his life before he wrote his letters to others. What face to face revelation did he receive? God is love and just how far Jesus went to restore us to relationship and identity as sons.
Ephesians 1:4 He associated us in Christ before the fall of the world! Jesus is God’s mind made up about us! He always knew in his love that he would present us again face-to-face before him in blameless innocence. God found us in Christ before he lost us in Adam!
Ephesians 1:5 He is the architect of our design; his heart dream realized our coming of age in Christ. 6 His grace-plan is to be celebrated: he greatly endeared us and highly favored us in Christ. His love for his Son is his love for us. Do we really believe this, or do we still believe the I am nots?
If we believe the lie and live in the I am nots. We will live in the fear, shame and condemnation of the accuser’s lies. The accuser confirms the I am nots. Within the whispers that say see I told you; you are not:
Not wanted, needed, valued, useful, important, confident, adequate, visible, special, accepted, worthy, loveable, good enough, safe, beautiful, I am not there yet.
The “I am not there yet” attitude keeps us on the DIY hamster wheel or treadmill of performance orientation – trying make our own identity or to please or appease an angry distant deity. We will live in the place of never being there yet where it is always winter but never Christmas.
Let God into the mess of the I am nots within your soul. Let God reveal the I am not lies so He can reveal the truth about who you really are in Him. Let Him heal you and restore you and bust open the lies that keep you less than a true son.
Let Him heal you and restore you and bust open the lies that keep you less than a true son. Let Him affirm you as a true son and speak the truth of your identity to you.
Engaging God, the Father.
Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.
Open that door and invite God to come in and embrace you.
Ask Him to reveal if you are still believing any I am nots. Let Him tell you what the lies are. Let Him bust those lies open to reveal the truth.
Let Him speak the truth and affirm that you are: accepted, loved, special, beautiful, worthy, good enough, you are included.
