The government of God is a government of rest and peace.
Hebrews 4:11 Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience
This rest is something, someone we have to enter into, it is being in Christ.
“Peace is a ruling power. It overwhelms anxiety, fear, and panic. It’s stronger than any adversity we’ll ever meet.”
We already have peace because peace is a Person who lives inside of us. It is not something on the outside we need to bring inside. We do not strive to feel it; it rises up from within us.
Once the battle on the inside of us (who is going to rule, the flesh or the spirit) is over, then we get to live in peace every day.
