Prophecy 8

The Lord hath a Word for thee. For thou art no longer under the shepherds who are hirelings that shall forsake thee in the day of battle. Behold, they shall run from thee when the trouble comes; they shall forsake thee in the hour of thy need (John 10:12–13). But the Lord raises up shepherds after His own heart, and they shall love the flock (Jeremiah 3:15). Behold, thou art delivered from those that would make a spoil and a prey of thee, and thou art brought unto the day when the Lord shall feed thee and thou shalt grow. Behold, thou shalt mark the growth of the flock more in a little season than in the years that have passed. Ye shall remember how the Lord hath led thee carefully and the Lord hath ministered love unto thine heart. Now rejoice in the Lord and prepare thine heart; for behold, the Lord hath raised up shepherds for thee that shall have faith in the hour of thy need.

Behold when thou art shaken as a reed is shaken in the wind, behold when thy soul is troubled, behold when thou art even cast aside in the opinions of other men, God shall stir their hearts to pray for thee and to seek Him in thy behalf; and so thou shalt be lifted up and the Lord shall have mercy upon thee. Rejoice, for they that minister to thee shall minister in faith; and the Word that shall come unto thee shall be a Word on which thou canst depend. Thou canst rest thine heart in that Word; it shall not fail thee in the hour of thy need, for the Lord shall give thee a Word that shall build thee up. He shall lead thee faithfully, for His arm is faithfulness forever. He shall lead thee in grace, for His arm is merciful forever. Surely His goodness and His mercy shall follow thee all the days of thy life (Psalm 23:6). Thou shalt know His goodness. Thou shalt perceive His love for thee, for behold He putteth thee under the hand of those that shall lead thee.

Be not children that know not the welfare of their own heart; but be thou submissive unto those that watch for thy soul (Hebrews 13:17), for the Lord would build a mighty flock. Behold, the Lord will expand His Kingdom. He will bring forth many that are willing to walk in the ways of the Lord. It shall be a help unto thee and a strength unto thy spirit if thou shalt listen unto the words thy shepherds teach thee. The Lord shall be mindful of thee, and He shall raise up shepherds in whose mouth is found a Living Word for thee. Thou shalt live by that Word. It shall be bread and meat unto thee; behold, it shall be drink unto thee; it shall satisfy thy soul in the hour of thy need. When thou art hungry, and when thou art ready to fall by the wayside in weakness, the Lord shall build thee up and strengthen thee by the Word that He shall bring unto thy soul. The Lord raises up shepherds that shall feed His people by a sure Word that shall hold them to a sure course, and they shall be led by the Lord God. Behold, He that leadeth them is steadfast, and His Word is immovable forever.
