Our relationship with God is always present/future in nature. He loves who we are now; he sees the emerging us that is coming to meet us from the future.
Jesus was fond of saying: an hour is coming and now is… (John 4: 23) highlighting the relationship between present and future that makes our spirituality prophetic in nature.
Give thanks for what God has done in you. Rejoice in where you are now by his grace. Look forward to more of his goodness for your future. God is working in you to will and to do his good pleasure-Philippians 2: 13.
Your testimony of what God has done for you and who he is in you are most critical in your intimacy with him. There is a better version of you coming! Enjoy who you are now.
Journal what that means for you. Develop a stronger perspective on your present/future relationship with the father.
What you see for yourself in the face of God… you will reflect back to him.
What are you seeing? What does that mean for you in your present circumstances? How will you reflect it back?
